Hi , I purchased a frigidaire induction stove model # CGIH3047VF OCTOBER 2020 , best buy replaced the first stoves as they were DOA , after the 3rd they told me to deal with the manufacturer since it is warranted for the first year , even though I had purchased the extended extra 4 year warranty for a total of 5 years . In December I placed a service call to the manufacturer , they came in February 2021 but unable to get the parts to repair the stove.
They replaced the whole stove in May 2021 since they can't get the parts . Now this is stove # 4 , and believe it or not I have more problems with this stove than the previous 3 . They decided to replace it once again , stove # 5 , Received new stove October 13 ,2021 , this one works very well and Frigidaire told me that I still would get a full 1 year manufacturer warranty that ends on October 12 , 2022 .
I went to Best Buy and asked that My 4 year extended warranty commence on that date and end on October 2026 instead of 2025 .
The store manager told me that my original extended warranty will end in 2025 not in 2026 , They said that their extended warranty starts when I originally purchased the warranty even though the manufacturer still honors a 1 year warranty starting Oct 2021 , in this case best buy is only responsable for 3 years instead instead of the 4 years I paid for. now what
