The tv I purchased stopped work less than a month after purchase. I went to exchange it an decided to upgrade to a more reliable brand costing more. The tv I returned was missing a leg that wasnt in the box in the first place I didnt need it because I hung it up. They wanted to charge me forty dollars for the missing leg. So I told them they could keep the tv. So they lost a $280 sell over $40. Its know wonder that Best Buys are going out of business.

Your review looks like it was written by a kid in crayon so its ironic to call them children. You also have amazing entitlement bringing in a tv missing critical parts so it can be harder to resell. Grow up

Best Buy card hacked—my identity was stolen and someone purchased xfinity on my account. Through LifeLock got purchases removed, but Best Buy keeps charging me late fees and interest on late fees. I disputed the charges through Best Buy and they are unable to tell me what the charges are for, but did send account to collection agency. After laboriously explaining my position to them, Best Buy found another collection agency to use. Unbelievable!

I purchased a small item and realized within an hour that it was incompatible with my equipment. When I went to return it, the store manager was refusing to process any exchanges until all of the pickups were processed. The manager was extremely rude, and after twenty minutes four of us realized that we were not going to be processed for hours. The others left angry. I got the clerk who sold me the first item to make the exchange. No surprise, but the Best Buy complaint phone directs you to take up your complaint with the store manager. I am a business owner have never treated customers like that.

Purchased microwave on 8/3/19 for delivery 9/2/19. Waited all day and no one showed up neither did I get a phone call. I called they stated third party did not show to pick up and again no phone call. They finally connected me with third party and they scheduled for today between 10-12, still have not heard, finally for someone and the delivery said they went to pick It up and it was out of stock. Again no one called. Will never shop again and will tell all My friends, as well management won’t make it right.

No such law exists. You are an adult and you have to protect yourself.

Next I doubt their policy is to actually hold your money as this would cause them to pay taxes now banks are different though.

Banks hold your money into their own "accounts" before being processed into your account which earns them interest. #Factsoflife

Details
Made a laptop purchase along with Microsoft, I specifically asked the associate who was helping me with my purchase if I didn't need Microsoft could I return and his answer was yes as long as the barcode was not scratched and I had my receipt. I go to return it and was told that I couldn't. The manager at store #142 was not trying to be of any assistance. On my receipt nor on the Microsoft card does it say I can't return, but they were sure to state that my credit card will be charged for a renewal. Very unacceptable and disappointing.
