My wifes SS# was used to open a credit account at the Hurst tx store and when the police went to get video evidence of fruad the security department of store had erased video instead of saving it for the officer. I guess covering up fraud is easier than dealing with it, on the bright side I got 5 rewards points.

Terrible Experience Purchasing Television | Best Buy review from Houston, Texas

Ordered a 51" plasma television on 27th Dec. Best Buy advised delivery on 2nd Jan. BB then rescheduled delivery five times, with latest advice being 9th Feb. Despite numerous and lengthy calls with BB's so called customer service I was never able to get confirmation from them of whether they were likely to be able to fulfill my order. They did, by the way, charge my credit card immediately the order was placed. Apparently it takes 5-7 business days to refund the CC once the order is cancelled! Beware this organization - they are scammers and their customer service is absolutely abysmal. There appears to be no one in the organization that is even remotely interested in trying to help unsuspecting customers that have had their money taken and have nothing to show for it.

Good afternoon, My name is Veronica I would like to let you know How the service has been lately. When I enter the store (PEARLAND, TX) I am greeted by the staff. I would give them a 10. But when you need to call to speak to someone you can forget about it. I work where customer service is the key. I even Work for Best Buy call center years ago and I never treated a customer rudely. 1. You wait til it's your turn cause of the volume of calls I'm OK with that. But whoever it is pick it up and put you on hold without saying a word. No name, no hello, or can you hold on please. 2. You continue to be on hold. Then it finally rings and again not a word and place you back on hold. It's a repeat 4 times waiting an hour just to ask 1 simple question "What kind of battery this camera take?" If you still carry this model. I was helping my Aunt out. So it would save her a trip to the store. It was to the point i hung up. This happen to me several occasion this is not the first time. This person manners in customer service is terrible. I don't Know if you all still continue to listen on calls. But just like a secret shopper maybe need to try secret caller. Thank you.

When it comes to issues like this, a manager needs to be involved. I was once in charge of my store's phones, and I can tell you that's NOT what's expected from our associates. The next time you call, dial extension 2180 or 2100 and ask to speak to the operations manager.

I used to love shopping the best buy in Santa Fe, NM until years of experience walked out the door when the new GM took over and let them all go due to his inexperience and insecurities' who ever chose him as GM made a huge error in judgment..now the store for months on end is poorly stocked with empty shelves in the video section looking like ghettomart! The GM is also not a nice person to begin with. This forces those of us living in Santa Fe having to travel over fifty miles to Albuquerque to much nicer store's to get what's needed which is a travesty. The best buy corporation managers need to get a grip on the facts of what's going on here. My money is going elsewhere as my friends feel the same way and believe me I'm a life long resident with a heck of alot friends and acquaintances I have had discussion's regarding your sinking ship of a store which we all agree on.

I ordered the Iphone 6 for my wife the 2nd day that you could pre order. My thinking was that since it took so long for me to get my iphone 5 when I was the first person in line on the first day to preorder and it still took 3 weeks to get my phone that it would be the same this time. I was eligible for renewal Oct. 5th. So I was quite surprised when the day before they went on sale I received an email stating that my phone was in and I could pick it up the next day. I called the next day and explained I was not eligible until Oct 5th but the person on the other line told me I was eligible for a new phone. I asked if they were sure because if I went up there and I wasn't eligible I was going to be very upset. The following day I received a voicemail saying they were mistaken and I was not eligible for the update just yet. I was however eligible for the AT&T Next upgrade. This is what I think they really wanted to sell me and why they lied to me. The following day I called the store and was told they could not help me over the phone. So I went up there and waited for well over an hour while they tried to work things out to no avail. Jonathan, the manager on duty at the time wrote down on a piece of paper that they would hold the phone for me until Oct. 5th. So today (Oct.4th) I called Jonathan and he said the manager, Nick Johnson had said more would come in and he went ahead and sold the phone. I accused them of not caring and lying to a long time customer and Jonathan was just silent. Then all he could say is talk to the manager who would be in tomorrow morning. No apology or anything. All this could of been avoided if Best Buy had said from the get go that they could not hold the phone for me. But then again, as I am starting to learn honesty is not Best Buy's policy.

Your review makes no sense. Just because something is listed in an ad doesn't mean that it is guaranteed to be in stock in every single store.

This is not a scam and this is not false advertisement. The item can usually be ordered at no extra cost to you, inventory can be checked at other locations, rainchecks can be made, or you could have asked someone for a similar deal. Where did you lose $49?

All I am seeing and reading is that an item was out of stock and you decided to shop elsewhere instead of letting to store provide a solution for you. That is fine, that is your choice, but your review makes no sense.

houston southware store #213. Today I bought a dvd recorder(open box), I took home, tested unit and won't work (dvd drive won'y eject). took back to Bestbuy 30 min later to return the item. Bestbuy claim that I broke the item, or the unit is not the right unit in the box and won't refund me. they also keep the item and told me not to come back again. I am filing to BBB, and other site to inform people not to buy from best buy and getting my credit card company to dispute the charge. I will not shop at best buy ever again.

Don't think that would happen. Did they ask for your ID when you returned the item?

If you refused to give them your ID, they wouldnt give it back to you due to business policy. Next time bring your ID, or stop stealing stuff.

I went to Best Buy Geeksquad Center 2 weeks ago for my Ipad repair and they told me to come back 5 days later so, here I am waiting for my Ipad to be given to me and i talked to me and his name is Joe Sanchez the manager and i talked to 2 different workers and still the manager talked to me in a rudely tone and I didn't like they also gave and told me to buy an Ipad that was not mine that costed $500 to $600 ;to pay the insurance 2 times that I have went to the store

Horrible delivery time | Best Buy review from Houston, Texas

Ordered a new washer and dryer last Thursday February the 13th to get the "Presidents Day free delivery", delivery date was Tuesday the 18th. On Tuesday they called me to see about delivering between the hours of 10:00am and 12:00pm in which I told them I was working until 4:00pm and couldnt be around for that time slot. Naturally they were booked the rest of the day but would call later that evening to reschedule. Waited and waited but never got a phone call. Called the store around 5:30pm that evening to see what was going on and the delivery people were not around but they took my name and number down and would have someone call. That phone call also never happened. So around 10:00am the next day when the store finally opened I called again to see about rescheduling...the next available delivery date was MARCH THE 1ST!! 11 DAYS AWAY!! Thats is just horrible and I will be driving to the store this evening to pick them up my dang self!

Don't waste your time buying over priced items at Best Buy. You can find it a little cheaper at another store like Lowes.

At least if you have it delivered, they deliver it. Best Buy just wants your money.

buy somewhere else. HHGregg, lowes,homedepot, sears anywhere but WORST BUY!! and don't be caught off guard and get a different model then you paid MAKE SURE YOU CHECK
