We purchased a refrigerator on the Best Buy floor; we brought in our exact door measurements and a sales representative helped us find a refrigerator that wold fit thought the entry space to our kitchen. Scheduled first delivery date: Best Buy sent a large truck with our appliance and the delivery men said they couldn't lower their lift on our street because it is cobble stone and on a hill (We have lived in this house 35 years and this has never been a delivery problem before). Scheduled second delivery date with smaller truck: waited 4 hour window and no truck came. We did get an email that evening saying we "should be pleased " our item was on the truck and it would be delivered at 4:15 a.m. (that, of course, didn't happen). Scheduled third delivery date: waited 4 hour window and no truck came. (Delivery service called at 8:00 p.m. and wanted to deliver between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. ... we declined. Scheduled fourth delivery date: truck arrived with our refrigerator. It was

quickly apparent to the delivery team that the refrigerator we ordered would not fit through the opening to our kitchen (we had been misinformed by the salesperson who sold it to us) We were told we

had no alternative but to cancel our order and start over. I spoke to the manager of the appliance department and the manager of the Northgate Store about some for of compensation. They stated "that was not possible unless we bought another refrigerator from them". No chance of that! Buy this time almost three weeks had gone by without a refrigerator in our home. All our food had spoiled and Best Buy had wasted hours and hours of our time. We talked with corporate level manager asking for some compensation in the form of a store gift card.

We were again informed that this was not possible because we were not

buying another refrigerator from Best Buy. What a mess and waste of time. Our recommendation would be to never, ever, ever buy a large appliance from Best Buy and expect them to deliver it as promised. The store clearly only cares about their bottom line and not their customers. In addition,

their sales personnel did not seem to be well trained.
