At one time it was possible to setup your Best Buy Rewards account to accumulate points. Apparently at some point this was changed and certificates are automatically issued.
These certificates expire in a short time. It seems $240 worth of certificates were issued in 2017 but I never received them. They refuse to reinstate the points. I called support but of course got no help.
I asked for a manager so they put me on hold... about an hour and fifteen minutes later the call disconnected.
I called back, and after about five minutes on hold I did get a manager but they continue to refuse to reissue the certificates or reinstate the points. I've written a letter to the CEO of Best Buy, I'll mail it tomorrow, it will be interesting to see how he responds.
