I bought a large-ticket item from Best Buy, and now I receive daily email solicitations from the company. I’ve tried to unsubscribe, however it doesn’t seem to work. I went online and asked, “How to unsubscribe from Best Buy” and found a link of Best Buy Canada, Ltd. The Best Buy site conceals or perhaps doesn’t have an “unsubscribe” function. I purchased a 32" TV at Best Buy online and figured it would be a safe purchase considering that I had purchased it from such a "reliable" store and that I had also purchased their Geek Squad protection program. I bought an hdtv on 6/16 at BB with scheduled delivery on 6/27. On 6/23 I found Sears had the same tv on sale at $40 less. Not a huge difference but I would like to find out how good BB is with their promise/commitment to customers. Do NOT buy. Worst scam ever. They do not replace the phone upon issue. They make you buy a loaner phone (I got an old beat up Blackberry) not even an iPhone. $50. Then you have to come back and pick up repaired phone. You have to sign your life away that the beat up used loaner phone would not be damaged while wait for repair. The service I have received from the Best Buy in Sioux Falls, SD has been absolutely unacceptable. I had purchased a remote start for my vehicle and had it installed through Best Buy. When I purchased the remote start I was advised that it would be $219.99 and with the additional parts and wiring needed to install the remote start the total be about $386 and change. I believe your T V commercials against Santa are very offensive, to both Adults and Children. Wheather your Store believes is a personal thing and I dont think you should try and push your beliefs on the whole world by dissing Santa. I am sure there are many more people that like to believe, than there are that dont believe. I bought an ASUS laptop, fairly expensive for school and personal use on-line from Best Buy. After 2 weeks i started having problems with it - intermittently shutting down on its own, non-responsive mouse, blue screen, and finally a fatal disk error. I would not recommend purchasing anything from, especially items requiring installation or delivery. We recently purchased an expensive front load washer/dryer from and everything was fine until the items actually arrived. The delivery team failed to level the washing maching which is supposed to be part of the deliver service; and in addition, they failed to leave all of the parts needed for installation of the gas... We ordered a gas dryer over the phone. The rep told me a delivery date in 5 days, and said free install. On the date of delivery, I hadn't heard from them, and called them up. They tell me that the delivery isn't scheduled for another 3 weeks! After being transferred, cut off, etc. I spoke to 8 customer reps within a half hour.
