I purchase a Sony Bravia 55" T.V. HD product # XBR-55X850B / $1400.00 the TV was advertised for the amount listed along with a full coverage warranty that included (according to the sales representative for BestBuy) all damage to the TV regardless of the Damage.
A contract was signed under the premise of and with a brief verbal summary by the Representative that included a coverage of "everything and anything that could happen to the TV, which included a cracked screen." I have contacted the Retail Store and the Corporation to fix my cracked TV screen. The Company has failed to assist me and the response i have received from the technicians is "we do not cover cracked screens." No court action is pending however i have been contacted by third parties regarding this issue for a class action lawsuit pertaining to the sale of warranties under false pretense. I am requesting BestBuy to honor the warranty agreement summarized by the employee and fix the aforementioned product.
A resolution to my issue could be done with the company honoring the warranty sold under false pretense. I am formally requesting BestBuy cease all sales of their warranties regarding TV's until the sales representatives have been properly trained!
