Best Buy review: POOR Customer Service - Geek Squad

Called customer service more than 8 times to make an appointment for a service I had already paid for at the time of purchase. The 8 agents could not make the appointment leaving me on hold for more than 50% of the time for each call! After receiving a confirmation by email the appointment was confirmed by the 9th agent, I received an email two days later saying the appointment was cancelled?

Best Buy review: Camera reparation

Details
The last time I traveled to the US for a couple of days, I wanted to take my camera to Self Service Center but unfortunately, they would take a couple of days, even weeks to repair the problems. I don't blame them. I've heard great things about their team. Hopefully next time I go back, I will have my camera fixed.

This is what reparation means... the making of amends for a wrong one has done, by paying money to or otherwise helping those who have been wronged. So, what does that have to do with your post regarding getting your camera fixed?

Best Buy review: I made the mistake of bringing my father to work and have not worked there since then

The supervisor invited me to bring my father to work for a product reset. Knowing what a great communicator Dad is, and being stuck at home, I had no other choice. He really enjoyed using his steel mallet on the job, banging away noisily in a crowded store, although, we didn't really save any time by having the both of us there. He knew a lot about the products, which ones were hot items. Dad did not fill out his paperwork, and was not paid. I lost my job at Best Buy, as my former co-workers complained bitterly about something or other. Since then I have been more careful about referring friends or family to work.

Yes, you can still find someone in Best Buy who is knowledgeable about the products they sell. The main problem with BB, however is the terribly loud noise emanating from their speakers which preclude any concentration on what it is you are trying to buy. Best to shop at a quiet store instead.
