Best Buy review: AVOID!!!

Best Buy. Late delivery of purchase after assuring me my order would be delivered early! HORRIBLE customer service. IF you can find a contact number on their lousy website (more later), 90-min wait. Online chat? MUCH better - only a 50-minute wait. Typical big business effort to cut every conrer possible to make a dime. Links to tracking information sent to me when I purchased my items (two orders) went straight to the Best Buy website where, not only was there no tracking information but there was NO information at all regarding my orders. No purchase history, item info - NOTHING! Best Buy has always been a poor place to shop. They only got marginally better because of Amazon competition. Avoid this Big Box DUMP!

Details
Ordered a wine refrigerator online. It was delivered damaged. Since I was installing it when I was having new cabinets built I had a deadline to get it replaced. After 2 hours on hold customer service said they would have one shipped to my local store for me to exchange. I called again the day before it arrived to verify but nobody could confirm. I went to the store on the arrival date and there was no refrigerator. I just returned it and went looking elsewhere.

LCD or LED tv can be laid flat with the directional markers pointed up. I find it unfair that they do eventually give you another tv and it doesn't matter at all to you.

This form of entitlement is what kills customer service as a whole. Stay sour my friend.

Best Buy card hacked—my identity was stolen and someone purchased xfinity on my account. Through LifeLock got purchases removed, but Best Buy keeps charging me late fees and interest on late fees. I disputed the charges through Best Buy and they are unable to tell me what the charges are for, but did send account to collection agency. After laboriously explaining my position to them, Best Buy found another collection agency to use. Unbelievable!

I went in to pre order my Samsung Note 10 plus for me and my wife. It took forever to get my ported. Both ATT and T-moble really treat people like crap. and they should be takened to court and sued for false advertising. All these cell phone companys . I'm going to start a grass roots following to get these criminals to give us back the real unlimited plans that they stole from us. Its' not like we stole them we were paying a lot of money. The plans on all the company are not unlimited.So I'm going to see how far I can get.But getting back Samsung told in a nice way to $uck off. They reps are not from hear is I'm so sorry. But then can do anything about it.

I purchased a Samsung TV less than one year ago. I was watching it from several feet away when the screen suddenly went dark and the tv just went dead. It is still under warranty. I took it in to BestBuy and they said the screen was cracked and the warranty does not cover physical damage. I did not damage this TV. It is a defective product and BestBuy should stand behind it and offer a refund or replacement. I will never purchase anything from Best Buy again and will never but another Samsung product.

I purchase the kitchen appliance package from best buy in May during memorial day sale. my appliances were not delivered to me on the scheduled day as i the delivery truck broke down. Then i was rescheduled next week. i waited the entire day for the truck to come and no one came. This happened Five times at least to a point i had to miss my work for all those days that i was waiting for my appliances not to mention that i did not have a stove to cook, no microwave and no dishwasher. The store manager said its the delivery service that is responsible for it. Finally I got my mechandise near labor day week. Poor service. Very disappointing. No one take responsibity ones they get our money. Did get $75 in gift card.
