On 9-17 I searched for prices for 5.0 cubic freezers and best buy came up and advertised a price for $139.99. When you click on the bb website the price changes to $169.99.

I talked to a salesperson named Lillie, another sales person whose name I could not understand and a person named audriana who said she was in the corporate office, customer service. The first two could not explain the difference in price. Audriana said that it was Google's fault, that google could show any price they wanted and best buy could not do anything about it. When I said I disagreed, she hung up on me.

This is an example of bait and switch. Show one price and then raise it when you are ready to purchase. Insignia 5.0 Cu. Ft.

This is not bait and switch. Many websites have what is called a cache "Google crawls the web and takes snapshots of each page as a backup just in case the current page is not available.

Google web is usually updated in a few days. The actual time of the updates depends on the frequency the website updates itself. " This is something that Google does. Best Buy has nothing to do with it.

It is an old page Google happened to take a snapshot of and stored, it does not mean the product/sale/pricing is active on the site.

That is why as soon as you went to the Best Buy website it showed you the actual/current price.

Whenever online shopping you need to go by the STORE'S WEBSITE, not Google. Google is not Best Buy.
