No Customer Service | Best Buy review from Reading, Pennsylvania

I spent $105 on a pair of JBL Synchros Reflect BT ear buds on 8/1/15. They could no longer be recharged because of a defective battery. I returned the ear buds to the Wyomissing PA Best Buy customer service counter with the original packaging and original receipt. I was told that even know the product is still under warranty, I didn't buy the extended warranty at the time of purchase, therefore Best Buy was not responsible for assisting me and that I had to contact JBL. I was dumbfounded! Even Wal Mart shows much more customer loyalty than this. I explained that I did not feel I was responsible for contacting JBL and felt that Best Buy should refund my money and contact JBL themselves since they sold headphones. This is the process at Wal Mart, lol! I let the associate and manager know that I would never purchase from Best Buy again if they weren't going to help me. The manager said "ok".

I can't tell for sure if the item was within the return period it not. But from the sounds of it I'm guessing it wasn't in which case you are the one in the wrong here. Once the return period is over any problems that may arise with the product are the responsibility of the owner and manufacturer, not the store that it was purchased at.

Best Buy's Christmas Ads

This has nothing to do with their products, but their Christmas commercials are extremely offensive. Since when is it okay to disrespect Santa to the level that is exhibited in these commercials? I don't get it, I guess it is yet another example of how society has changed. I wonder what it was like in the advertisement department when they came up with this idea of picking on the jolly old man. Whoever approved this notion should lose their job. What do they think little children feel like when they see a pseudo mom acting aggressive and mean towards a generous, gentle representative of goodness who never asked for anything but good behavior in return. Best Buy has definately exhibited bad behavior and deserves coal in their stockings!

I called the corporate office of Best Buy and let them know I thought their commercials were horrible, and so un christmas like.....I was given a nice apology and it was not their intent for the commercials to be harsh....I said well thats what a marketing dept gets paid for and please close my account. Then put my thoughts on my FB page for everyone to see. Not that I can do much...but...you never know.

Commercials really put a damper on the Christmas spirit. I am sure it was not Best Buy's intent but the commercials do reflect how most of American society has become selfish, aggressive and mean spirited.

I purchased a Blackberry in mid-December at the store in Wyomissing Pennsylvania. The selling point of the Blackberry over any other smart phone was the fact that Best Buy offered a replacement warranty, not a service warranty. They did not offer you a refurbished...

Best Buy WILL NOT stand by their warranty

I bought a laptop (1200$) and in three month brought it there 12 times. I was very patient and the last time I said that this is *** they kicked me out of the store. The manager did not handle well they were ridiculous I am never going back. I just wanted my laptop fixed or a new one. Manchester NH Best Buy has the worst managers and Geek squad does not know what they are doing. I went the next day and they did not help at all. They treat you with a bad attitude and made me feel like I had done something wrong. I had purchased 3 year warranty but only 2 months had gone by.

Half of the problems that come into a best buy are related to virus and spyware issues (malware) and are NOT covered by the best buy service plan or manufacturer's warranty. Also, if a "friend" of your says they had their issue fixed by the manufacturer for free (virus/spyware related) the manufacturer is just restoring the computer to factory specifics, and you lose your data.

Then you will be complaining about the manufacturer here.

Make sure that you act like you are buying a car before you buy a "service plan" or warranty. READ the terms and conditions, don't just assume that it covers everything, because that makes an *** out of you, leave me out of it.

When they are trying to sell "THE SERVICE WARRANTY" they beg you. But when you come back with a problem..they ignore you. - Geek squad...I've heard complaints too.

if you really care take it up with their corporate and you will have everything fixed, now if its a male ware issue your on your own, cause their warranties do not cover that.
