My wife & I purchased a 40 inch Samsung TV from Best Buy in Whitehall, PA. When we got it home & mounted it on the wall we found that the smart features of the TV did not work. Sadly this is the only reason we bought the TV seeing as we weren't hooking it up to cable or satellite. I contacted Best Buys Customer Service Team & spoke with Jennifer. She promised me that Best Buy would exchange the TV & give me a free upgrade seeing as this model didn't work & as compensation for my troubles. She told me that I would have to call back the next day & speak with the store manager so this could be done. I called back the next day & the manager refused to honor the deal that was made. I then called the corporate office & spoke with the Customer Service Team who refused to do anything to fix the problem. They then put me though to Executive Customer Service who promised to send me a $75 gift card (which they never did ). Then I called Executive Customer Service again & spoke with Andrew Chase who also promised that Best Buy would be willing to exchange my TV with a free upgrade if the representative Jennifer promised that. He promised to listen to the taped conversation & get back to me in 24 hours. He never called back as promised. Over a week later he called back & told me he wasn't honoring the deal he made with me. I had the named of the man who is in charge of the customer service team so I called the corporate office & asked for him. The operator told she was transferring me to his office. This lying *** didn't do what she promised & instead put me back to Executive Customer Service Department. I am now stuck with a broken TV. This company doesn't care at all about it's customers & they are consistant liars. They refuse to put you through to the people you ask for in the corporate office. In my eyes it's because the big wigs only care about counting the money from the customers & not about you if you have a problem. This company has forever lost my business & I hope you will join in BOYCOTT of BEST BUY. Please don't be *** like I was & put your trust in a company that just doesn't care about you. If this company wants to contact me in regard to this matter they are more than welcome to but i want no one from Executive Customer Service Department to contact me seeing as they are liars.

Contact the manufacturer of the TV and work something out with them and then never go to bb again!!

We did contact Samsung & they promised a call back in 48 hours in regard to the matter but they never called back. I then contacted them back & they wanted to send a tech to my house to try & fix it.

I told them I didn't want to be stuck with a defective TV that has issues from the start. I asked them to exchange it with a free upgrade but they refused that offer.

Sadly all the electronic stores must have the mentality. 2 years ago we bought a 60 inch LG TV & Blu Ray Player that when we plugged it in it caught the wires on fire & smoke started pouring out of the Blu Ray Player, our Directv DVR & the back of the TV.

I contacted hhGregg & they refused to do anything about it since it was less than a month old & any thing less than a month old is supposed to be taken care of by the manufacture. LG refused to do anything cause they are just plain *** So in

both Best Buys & hhGreggs cases BUYER BEWARE!

We came to buy a 65 to 70" TV and the sales people were too busy talking to each other to help us, then when they finally did start to help us they would start talking to other customers that came up to ask them questions instead of talking care of us first, then we asked to talk to the manager who the sales girl said didn't have time to talk to us so my husband went over and asked him about the TV we knew we wanted. He was in a rush and one of our questions was if he could include a remote for the display which was missing one. He said that he could only give us half off a remote. Then he rushed off. I can't believe how rude, rushed and bothered the staff seemed having to make time to answer questions to see us a TV. Rude.

I am a female sr. citizen who needed a new tv for my bedroom.

went to best buy and was completely ignored while there were sales associates who were available to help me . so went across the street to Sears where a very polite young man assisted me, gave me helpful advice and got the sale..I will never purchase anything from Best Buy

My husband bought a Sirius sat radio for me for Christmas.... sales associate never told him he needed a SEPARATE piece to activate the sat radio...so that was an EXTRA 100 dol that we were thrown into..didn't have the "tuner" piece...had to wait for that....when picking that piece up she couldn't find it....while waiting on me shes on her earphone piece walking to someone else and I thought she was talking to me and got snippy w/me when asked her what ?.....after radio was installed the associate didn't show me anything on the radio or go over anything.... would of been nice customer service....just all the way round dissatisfied.

Now that the Christmas rush is over, it's a good opportunity to stop by the store and visit the installer in the bay. I would mention to him your last experience, and ask him for any suggestions on how to proceed.

If you still need any instruction on operating the unit, he can take his time and explain things thoroughly to you.

The reason I say all this, is because many people only shop at Best Buy during the Christmas holidays. In other words, you've seen them at their worst...give them a chance to show you their better side.

Don't buy at Best Buy buy at Costco. Assistant Manager Shawn at Best Buy Montgomery Pennsylvania store refused my return of Motorola Modem after we looked up receipt and found it and recognized that I spent over $10,000 in 2 years. Would not exchange the faulty modem. Gave him many opportunities to stand by the product they sell. Costco would have done it no matter what. Item still like new and had plastic but it was just over the return time. Even had the nerve to say it's not a doc 3 should be a doc 3. Looks at it closely and said "wow" it is a doc 3 but still can't return it while he was walking out the door 10 minutes before their closing at 9pm. Felt he just didn't want to be bothered by a loyal customer. Will not spend any more money there Costco is the ticket..Have you ever returned anything to Costco. It is the easiest. They don't ask questions...

Everything affordable for me on line was sold out. I looked at a smaller tv and found one. It had to be picked up at the store. I live in Central PA and the closest store was Virginia. Really Best buy, that is your best. I will go to Walmart. I felt as though the old bait and switch was at work here in the local Best Buy store. I found out I must rant and carry on for 100 words or my complaint can not be registered. Again, Best Buy are you folks just not with it or what. This is just stupidity at it's finest.

There was no bait and switch only no product availability in your area. The Web site told you exactly where you could get the tv for the price you were willing to pay. Nothing was switched and you shouldn't make such accusations because products were sold out around Christmas time.

The store could preface that the items may not be available in your local area. This is not an accusation, this is the truth. Best Buy needs to update their advertisements to reflect correct information regardless of the time of year.

After conning us to buy a Geek Squad protection plan on a 75" Samsung TV, Best Buy refused to honor the plan when asked to replace or repair the TV, when it stopped working properly only 2 months after it's purchase. TOTAL SCAM. We are now out of pocket for $3000.00....

STILL waiting on preorder Note 4. Was told I'd have it launch day (10/17) then was told Saturday, then Monday, then Wednesday. Called today (wednesday) and wasn't even given a time, just told its a "waiting game." Was also told they had one for sale to the general public at a different best buy, when they still had preorders to fill. Totally disorganised and borderline scammers. Utterly disgusted with their customer service.

I should mention my original problems with my computer. Right out of the box without ANY installations or third party alterations, it ran as slow as my grandmother.

In a blizzard. With pitpulls latched onto her legs.

Seriously, I have NEVER seen such a sluggish computer....

This computer is sadly what desktops are becoming. External power supply, cheap components, and basically a tablet processor. This model came loaded with so much bloatware it would barely run right out of the box.

Best Buy is the worst company- Stay away!

I had several problems with my home theatre set-up. Best Buy's Geek squad charged $160 + tax for someone to come to my house to diagnose the problems. The first man spent over 2 hours, and was not able to correct the problems. I went back to Best Buy to set up another appointment the following week. The second man came to my house and diagnosed the problems immediately, fixed most of them, and stated that I need to buy a $70.00 speaker selector to fix the remaining problem, and that after I bought it he would come to install it, which he stated would take only about 10 minutes, I bought the speaker selector and tried to contact him repeatedly, but could not reach him, after trying for almost two weeks. I then called Geek Squad to set up an appointment to install the speaker selector. I waited 4 hours (8 AM to noon) and took off from work, for someone to arrive, which they didn't. When I called Geek Squad, they informed me that the appointment was canceled by them because it would have to be a paid appointment, which now would cost over $200! I am now stuck with a speaker selector, and audio problems, which could easily be resolved but for the greediness of Best Buy.
