So if a stranger had hacked your email and picked up your item with the email and receipt, you would have been ok with that? There is a reason the purchaser has to be the one to pick up online orders.

THIS is why. The website also gives you the option to ADD ALTERNATE PICK UP PERSON when you pay.

I made the big mistake of believing that buying from best Buys and getting the "geek squad" protection was enough. I was not told that I had a very short time to TEST and evaluate my product. I put the TV away for use when I finished a room,mounted it on the wall to find out it was FUBAR. In the store they told me the screen was cracked and that since I waited too long = I was getting NOTHING for the TV that I paid well over a few hundred for. AND just finished spending over 3800.00 in that store. IF you are tempted to buy from them ,TEST ANYTHING prior to leaving the store. No matter how hard it might be for them to open and test it. I will not spend another dime there,and I was planning to buy another 500.00 dollars in that store just today.

"Price Match Guarantee" rip off. | Best Buy review from Buffalo, New York

I purchased an HP envy laptop computer from Best Buy for $749.99 on 6/18/14. I noticed it was on sale within a week for $649.99 on the internet. Their website said to contact a 1-888 number for customer service. I did and was told I should receive a $100 gift card within 5-10 Days. They denied me this refund ,saying I bought a bundle. The"bundle" they were referring to was a setup I was going to have the geek squad perform then and there. Problem was only 1 person was performing geek squad duties cause they were short and had quit a few already waiting. So I asked for a refund for this "bundle". They still tell me I'm not eligible cause I bought a bundle. I will never shop this store again and will tell everyone and anyone not to also. Never again!!!

Best Buy Shipping is the WORST!!!

Shipping date confirmed but not honored. 2 weeks late! Ship date on line stated 9/26. Verbal confirmation stated 9/26. Less than 3 hours later an email was sent to change delivery date to 10/1. Called customer svc and was told it was moved to 10/4 and that wasn't even confirmed!! Then rep tried to tell me this was special order item and it was posted on line as such. IT ABSOLUTELY was not. I specifically ordered from this company because of the early delivery date. And of course they don't have the notes of yesterday's conversation in their computer so they don't know who confirmed the 9/26 date. How convenient. All they could tell me was no one SHOULD HAVE told us that. And that someone SHOULD HAVE looked further into the order and they WOULD HAVE discovered the extended delivery date and that's what we SHOULD HAVE been told. Absolutely RIDICULOUS. After spending $5,300 and being delayed 2 weeks for a corporate order, all we get is SHOULD HAVE and WOULD HAVE. Didn't even strike them in the least to lose a major corporate buyer. Their loss.

They can only estimate the shipping time. If they did not have the product in stock at the time your shipping date will change.

I can not believe any respectable business allows you to order for them and if you own the business I hope I do not have the misfortune of buying from you. If they can not ship when you want cancel the order a shop somewhere else.

Took my tower, back to best buy, 4 times.

I had to take my tower, to best buy, 4 times because, when I got home, it still didn't work. I waisted, time and gasoline. I do not live near best Buy. I told them the problem, and they ran a scan, and they said, they fixed it. no charge. I got home, it did not work. I unpugged it again, and took it back. Had a virus. It costed me $230.00. they had it for 4 days. I get it home and hook it up and then, I couldn't even get on line. I took it back again. All they say to you, is I'm sorry. It is still not back to the way it was.

How do you expect BestBuy to check every single product that they have on their shelfs? There is no physical way they can make sure that every product they sell is completely functional from the manufacturer. As for the replacement, they are willing to give you a replacement computer NOT TO EXCEED what you originally paid.
