Bestbuy played me for a fool, did a no show. | Best Buy review from New York, New York

Bestbuy was suppose to come out,and fix my washing machine today, I call this morning to comfirm the time that the technician is suppose to come.Was told the appointment was cancelled,no one could tell me who cancelled the appointment.I was so pissed,I took off a work today just to be home to wait for these people.The worst things is last week they gave me the run a round at there service center.I had to fax them a copy of my purchase receipt.The reps there are so rude and was not helpful at all.How I have to work and see whats going to happen,I had to call back 1888-bestbuy, now they're saying one of there technician is going to call me to set up another appointmen.What's the sense of getting a warranty if there service *** so bad. Its not right and they need to be really taught a lesson.I paid for this and they need to honor there agreement. Their service is really the pits.

Best Buy Return Problems!!!

I recently purchased a computer at Best Buy for $2100 and realized that it was not working properly 3 days later. I brought the defective machine in, and a *** girl turned it on and barely looked at it before telling me it was fine and I was wrong. The manager then arrived and told us that we would not be given our money back without a 15% penalty, and that if we were not willing not accept his terms, he would have us escorted out of the store. His name was Martin Burkhead. He then walked away from us!

Compaq this... | Best Buy review from Holbrook, New York

Bought a compaq from the Commack NY store. It didn't work when I got it home. Brought it in for a replacement, was told no they had to 'repair' it. Well, 3 trips of going back and forth and no satisfaction until the 4th time and then it wound up costing me,and I had a warranty, $210.00 for repairs and the technician's 'time' for fixing it. They never honored anything in the warranty and the compaq still sucks. Went and bought a better model elsewheres.....Their customer service is the worst! Consumers beware. Do your homework.
