Wow how they suck. I purchased a new laptop yesterday and it crashed today. Ok no big deal This happens. Picked up a second new unit when I returned the first crashed unit. Actually upgraded a little more. Here is their problem, I paid CASH. My mistake I guess. After getting the second unit I never opened the box. Thinking about what this dum sales twit told me about the new computer it did not make the grade. Called a few other computer stores, shot the sales twit lied to me. Yea I know that's a shocker but it happened. Now I am really passed. Went to take back the new unopened unit back. Remember I paid CASH. Seams best buy does not refund CASH to customers over $100'00 they will mail you a check in 4 to 6 weeks. Called their head quarters phone number and was told by a manager that with all the returns they have they would need to keep at least a $ 100,000 in cash on hand. Guess they have a lot of returns everyday. I WILL never step foot in another one of their sorry stores again and hope they go belly up. And these twits wonder why their sales are going down.

You're a fu*#ing idi ot, (can't believe this site blocks words like idi ot and $tupid) but anyway, yes you're a f*#ing idi ot. Every retailer does the same thing.

Anytime you purchase something that's really expensive and want a refund, they will mail you a check if it's over a certain dollar amount. Walmart and target do the same thing.

So you can plan to not go to any of those stores either since you're so entitled and the rules don't apply to you. And it doesn't take 4-6 weeks, it takes maybe 1-2 weeks.

Josh at best buy in Jersey City is condescending and doesn't understand how to talk to customers. I had asked him a simple question about if I could exchange the solo beats I had bought on Black Friday for another color. He responded with a long explanation without answering my question directly. Then, made me feel *** by saying you aren't understanding what I am telling you because youre interrupting me. Honestly I was looking for a yes or no answer not a long conversation about why. Never make the customer walk out of the store greling bad about asking simple questions. Not everything about retail is common knowledge. Avoid Josh in the yellow rain jacket he's condescending and cannot answer questions directly. I will never go to that best buy again.

Bad Service an washing machine delivery | Best Buy review from Hillsdale, New Jersey

Purchased a washing machine that broke timeand time again. After 15 times and they couldn't fix it (past Warrenty at this point, had to pay for service last 3 times.) Bought a new machine last week. 1. No call to confirm delivery time 2. Driver showed up and was not here at 7:45am. 3. Spent an hour on phone and finally they sent him back. 4. Arrived without the part needed to install (which I paid for, when machine was bought) 5. Now waiting on supervisor to call been 3 hours. 6. Don't know when I will get machine!!!!!!!!!!!!! 7. This is all poor poor customer service 8. Funny how Best buy takes your money and can't deliver your item correctly...COMPLETE INCOMPETANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My parents had purchased a Acer Laptop from best buy for my birthday. (by the way this was my first computer) My parents were suggested this computer from a Best Buy employee, she had said its good for college students, LIE. I could not stay on the computer for more than 15 minutes without it restarting and erasing all the work i had done. VERY RARELY it would stay longer than that. When I came to Best Buy wanting to return the computer they told me i couldn't do that, because it had passed the 3 month mark. (a few week over the 3 month mark) after a long discussion with the employee, they told me to purchase a antivirus cd(i thought all my issues were fixed at that point) it worked for MAYBE a week, and than had went back to its previous issues i.e: restarting, freezing...etc. I had went to Best Buy again to see what they could do, they offered their 'geek squad' services, and again like the cd, it worked for a week and than went back to its issues again. I went back to best buy to see what else i can do, they offered their geek squad services again, i used it a final time and had the same issues again. When i went back they offered the same thing i told them " so every other week i am supposed to go to geek squad when this reoccurs" they had nothing to say but yes. I am stuck with this computer and my parents had lost a large amount money because of this product. Best Buy has horrible products and service as well, I will never return to this company again for ANYTHING.

1) It took you 3 months to realize your computer would only stay on for 15 minutes tops?

2) It's within 1 year since the purchase, just call Acer and use your manufacturer warranty.

Unreal hold times for Geek Squad appointment! | Best Buy review from Princeton Junction, New Jersey

I have no audio from my Bose Home Entertainment system I bought from Best Buy in 2009 (this happened in 2010 due to defective Bose box) and since the Geek Squad set everything up for me I decided to call them for a repair appt. Started the call before 7 p.m. and had to hold 23 minutes for someone to pick up for home entertainment & TV repair. After finally speaking with a Best Buy rep, she says I have to transfer you to the Geek Squad for an appt. I then held another 10 mins. and got someone who barely spoke English who told me he only repairs TVs not Bose systems. I had told the 1st lady it was the Bose audio that didn't work so she sent me to the wrong Geek. He then transferred me again to someone who supposedly will be able to schedule a repair for my home entertainment system but I have again been waiting for another 20+ minutes and still no one who can schedule me. How can Best Buy/Geek Squad even call this customer service??? It's ridiculous! No wonder they have been losing business year over year

Best Buy Manager Misconduct

Best Buy in Union, NJ Worst Customer service. provided the receipt spoke with a manager Mr. Pedro Acevedo, he stated "we can't take this back because the pieces are missing" I specified well it was purchased in this store in that same order so I shouldn't be held accountable. Mr. Acevedo got nasty with me the customer and a patron of that Best Buy. Mr. Acevedo being Manager clearly didn't know the store policy. That states if an item is purchased by November 1st through the December 31st clearly is considered a Holiday Sale and an exchange should be honored.

This is an email I sent to the CEO just today.

I am a loyal geek squad protection plan user for my cell phone over the last few years. I don't agree with them making changed to our service plans and not informing the consumers. This only seems to happen when I need a new device.

Tonight I had an awful experience with customer service. ( last week I went into a store and waited 45 mins in line to only be told the policy has changed now in October everyone has to call in to order a new defective phone) with your protection plan I received a new faulty phone which has now glitched to the point of not working. I don't think a customer should be held accountable for your squad sending a defaulting malfunctioning refurbished phone to its customers then being told WE have to PAY for such items.

1st off the person who gave me this plan on this particular phone never mentioned new changes to me on the policy . C'mon now who reads all the find print. You guys are ripping people off. I

Secondly back in February when I got my 1st replacement LG G2 for sprint. I asked the agent( and again in October) why my phone is saying "no sim card" and has an ugly permanent icon to follow planted at the top. Both types did your workers told me that didn't matter. Only until last week I went to sprint where they seem to have better phone education and told me that is why I have not received 4g network and now for over a year my phone has only been running on 3g.

Tonight on the phone I sat on hold for 30 minutes only to be told that some new policy was in place and I needed now pay $160 for a new phone!! why should a caller have to pay for *** merchandise that you guys failed to fix the first time. My screen had a shortage and went all black but not before turning the main screen into all "static" look. I have ruined and dropped plenty of phones in my day which I have no problem admitting to cracking a screen or dropping a phone in a toilet. Those are things I will pay for. NOT rubbish sent to my by your dept. To conclude I asked the rep to let me speak to someone else that could help me like a supervisor and she said no one else could help me. So I asked to be put into billing where I could cancel my policy. When I asked to speak to a supervisor in billing I was put on hold for another almost 30 mins then sent to a ring tone for about another 10 until I gave up and disconnected. I wonder why you guys don't have supervisors that can come to a line sooner? That seems to be a problem I am looking for a resolution to this matter as quickly as possible.
