FYI, we went to Lowes first...the set was delivered without a phone call ahead of time, then both the fridge and stove had been damaged. We refused delivery and asked for a refund. They argued and made us wait to get a refund.

Best Buy has a 15 day return policy, this is clearly stated at check out and on the receipt. Also after that return policy as someone else stated that is what manufacturer warranties are for.

Try Lowe's rather than Best Buy. Dispute any "restocking fee" they charge you.

Best look carefully at the invoice you got from them to see the "terms and conditions" or such in order to verify the restocking fee. Best Buy is really not a good place to buy appliances, nor much of anything nowadays.

Got extorted for $ by their GeekSquad people off site. In store people in Sarnia location were good but the 1800 geeksquad literally extorted my credit card, and charged me AFTER I already paid for monthly policy. Broken phone was lost and couldn't be tracked. It was BRUTAL and caused ME and several friends to cancel our policies. Best Buy doesn't get off the hook either. It was EASY for them to blame and point the finmger at the off site Squad but the Fish, STINKS from the head on down and doing business like that, should see them bankrupt in no time at all. Should be ashamed Sarnia Best Buy. You have LOST a LOT of collateral business. Good work!

Went to purchase an Oculus Rift at my local Best Buy yesterday. They had one available but not the hand controllers or the 3rd sensor sold separately. This is the 3rd time in 2 months I went looking for a product at Best Buy only to be told they didn't have it in stock. The reason I go to Best Buy rather purchase from Amazon is 1) I can see the product before purchasing and 2) I can get the product immediately. They seem to not care about either of these concerns - but I am sure this is the reason that anyone would buy from them as opposed to going online. They keep very little stock to keep costs down. They need to keep costs down because they are losing business. They are losing business because of online sales but ALSO because they keep very little stock. I will be glad to see this franchise fail - it is soon coming. So I decided to contact their online chat people. I paid it off and then started getting statements. Statements never reflected my payment. Had to call and close the account.

I have ordered refrigerator, washing machine and dryer from bestbuy altogether worth around 3400. I scheduled delivery for last monday 1/2 10 -2 delivery window. Nobody showed up. I called customer service couple of times with in teh window to make sure people are coming, they kept saying its on the way. onve the window was up, when i called bestbuy abt it, they connected me through distribution center/warehouse and then they say that driver tried calling me as he couldnt find the address but i havent received any call. If really so, i called them couple of times why didnt they let me know abt it then .... rescheduled it to fri - 4 -8 window. Got a call from warehouse person around 1.30 pm saying that driver is not finding adress in his maps. Guided him to house and asked why is he coming now, reply was that mine was the last delivery for drive for that day, so since he wants to get to home faster, that is the time he could deliver if i need one or else reschedule. I came home speeding just to find that the driver doesnt have pair of shoe covers and wants to step inside my brand new home with brand new carpet. When i told him that doesnt work, he said he will have to go to warehouse to pick couple of covers and come back by 4.30. And guess hwat he never showed up. When i reached out to bestbuy they told me that as soon as he stepped out of my house, he updated my order as not delivered as customer not home. Unbelievable !!! They simply suggested that i should reschedule my delivery again - I did that for Tue i.e today. Window was for 8 -12 today. Nobody showed up again. When i called customer service before 12 couple of times they said they are on the way. After 12, they say they are still coming he is late by 2 hrs. After 3 hrs, they say that Truck broke down. They simply suggest to reschedule the delivery again. It is as simple as that for them. But its not that simple for cutomers to stay home whenevr they want. I lost 20 hrs of pay because of this whole mess up. I spent about 8-10 hrs on call with all these people. I am fed up of this whole Bestbuy thing. What a *** places buy stuff from. My friend ordered from Costco and it was as smooth as it could go. I repent my decision that i went with bestbuy. probably worst decision of my life.
