Being charged for services I didn't order on a card I canceled a year ago please explain , I have call service department but the bill keeps coming with add charges, I am not paying this bill, I didn't order anything, haven't been in your store in more than a year. Tried to charge me for credit protection a year ago that I didn't order on a card that did' have anything on it, you guys are thieves praying on incent people, my next steps will be to talk to BBB and states attorney if this isn't resolved . And I am warning everyone I know about your credit services.

Terrible Customer Service!!! No Loyalty!!! | Best Buy review from Oswego, Illinois

I have been shopping at the Oswego Il Best Buy since the store opened. I am a Loyal Platinum customer. I have bought all of my 7 flat screen tvs as well as my home theatre and all electronics exclusively at Best Buy. I am writing to you about a recent incident at this particular store. I placed an order for a 42 inch Visio Smart Tv. I was told the order would arrive on 4/2/15. I went to the store at 6 15 pm on the 2nd. The associate at the store informed me that the truck had not shown up and that it should have arrived at 3pm. She then informed me that even if it showed up I could not get the tv that night. After informing her that I needed something now she said that if I wanted someone could help me find another tv. I went to talk to an associate in the tv section. I explained my situation and told him I needed a tv tonight. I found a tv Samsung model UN4046203AFXZA this tv was 444.99. The Vizio tv model M4221-I-BI WAS 429.99. This associate said he would talk to a manager and see if he could price match the tv. When he came back he explained that because it was a different brand the manager said no. I told the associate I can not believe that for 15 dollars Best Buy is losing a loyal lifetime customer. He was a very rude, ignorant associate and replied sorry that's how it is. I feel betrayed. After the 10s of thousands of dollars I have spent and the great recommendations I have given to people over the years to shop at Best Buy, this is a slap in the face. I left the store and purchased a tv at SAMs Club. I just wanted to let shoppers know how the manager at the Oswego store has turned away a lifetime customer.

Hi, I bought 2 wireless mouse from Bestbuy. One worked for 3 months and I opened other one after 3 months and it never worked. When I call the customer care about this, they said, you should have read customer return policy before buying and should have bought warranty. That idiotic customer rep even asked me to go to HP website to return the product. Bestbuy is just waste of money.. Please buy stuff at other places like groupon or Amazon or e-bay. Please buy stuff from BESTBUY if you want to fill your trash bin. Take this review serious or else God have to save you !!

Hey genius, that is what you do when past the store's return policy and it is now an issue of a manufacturer's warranty due to defect. After Best Buy's 15 day return policy it is no longer their issue.

It then becomes time for YOU to deal with the manufacturer and THEIR warranty.

How long do you expect to be able to exchange an item through Best Buy? 6 months? A year?

It doesn't work that way.

You want to have people shop at Amazon instead? Sure, let's read Amazon's defective item policy:

"If your item isn't working properly, please check the product manual and Amazon.com detail page for troubleshooting steps. If you need additional help with troubleshooting, warranty information, or need missing or replacement parts, contact the product's manufacturer."

Oh look, it says if you need help contact the product's manufacturer for warranty information, the same thing BEST BUY told you to do.

Target, Walmart, HHGregg, any retailer works the same way.

After their designated return/exchange timeframe if anything goes wrong after that you must contact the manufacturer. Welcome to retail shopping.

I had a horrible expierence when trying to ask about a job at the best buy mobile in gurnee mills mall. I walked in and asked an employee at the register about how the job was, how old you have to be, and about customers. When I got to the part about wage/benefits it all turned south. He had a disgusted look on his face then told me that my application would be better suited "across the way" which would be the Victoria's Secret outlet across the hall. The fact that he tried to make a *** insult at me just disgusted me. We are living in the 21st century and we are still doing this? Inexcusable

Same problem here. I ordered a stack kit with my washer and dryer and after 2 deliveries they still don't have it here. I also ordered a double oven and they came out to messure the opening to make sure it would fit and then canceled the order without saying anything, but didn't tell the delivery people (who I found out when they were here they don't even work for Best Buy) until they came out to install it only to find out it wouldn't fit. then ordered a new one only but they keep putting off saying it's on back order. Why was it not on back order 6 weeks ago or anytime in between when I ordered it until 3 days before delivery. So they have full payment for all items and they still have the items as well.

I too will not buy from Best Buy again. Let children believe as long as they can that this special person will make them smile!

We adults try to make this holiday a happy one for the little ones and my grands would be so disappointed if they thought there was NO SANTA! If you raise your kids to know better, then so be it. But let the rest of the world enjoy the jolly old elf, see the smiles that make you cry, feel the hugs that make you get chills because that little boy or girl is so happy! They just know that Santa brings them presents and cannot get all the things they want.

They usually are so excited to see anything out by the tree that they probably couldn't tell you what was missing. We have taught our children and grandchildren to remember that the reason for the season is Jesus' birthday and that is the most important thing to teach them. We can keep pushing everything we grew up knowing and believing in to the breaking point and soon we will be no better that the ad people that thought these commercials would be funny! God and Jesus have been pushed away or out of everything so why not Santa?

Well, don't come to my house because we believe in God and Jesus and Santa!

Won't Fully Credit my card for an Erroneous Automatic Renewal! | Best Buy review from Champaign, Illinois

Total lack of customer service,misleading sales and their once it's out the door, not their problem policy has taught me to NEVER do business with Best Buy! Still an automatic charge for renewal of anti virus appeared on my credit card!---I assumed for an ASUS computer that we had to totally wipe 3 years ago---Why? Hmmm. Now I find out that they sold me anti virus for the MacBook instead! The computer that didn't need anti virus. Bad me for letting it get paid this long!--but when I did catch it last week (and it has taken a week to get to the bottom of it---the renewal charge was over 30 days old (and please realize much of that time was because they hadn't sent me the bill due to the billing cycle), so Best Buy will not credit back the entire amount of the 'automatic' renewal (is over 30 days)! I guess screwing with me when all I expected was for them to *** the current charge ---confirms that the big screen we want to shop for will NOT be from Best Buy. Nor will anyone I know shop there if I can help it. Just renewed our phones ELSEWHERE with great customer service! Don't buy into the Best Buy 'has it all' illusion! Their return policy stinks! The refrigerator we'd bought there always had issues and suffered with it for 2 years until safety forced us to replace our 'new' one from Best Buy. The router---their 'coupons'---Looking back, I'm embarrassed that I kept trying to do business with them!

The $1000 mark is because of the *** frig I had to replace! Right now--just get this ridiculous charge off my account!---How petty of a business to want to continue to screw me for $7.08! But that's how you guys are.

Best Buy Reserve

I received a "Best Buy Reserve" offer last summer to activate a new phone by end of the year to receive a $50 Gift Card. Hadn't really decided if I was going to get a phone but I replied to the text to place my "reserve" just in case. Eventually I decided to go in and trade it for the next generation. Great chance to get a new phone, right" Plus there was a $50 immediate discount through the manufacturer (Apple) on all IPhones. End of July I bought a phone - had it activated asked about the Best Buy Reserve Offer and was told I would receive an email regarding the "gift". After three weeks I noticed I hadn't received anything - went in the store and asked the cell phone rep and he said I should have received the email and would send it out again, check email within next 30-45 mins. Still nothing...and this happened a few times after several trips into the store and calls to Customer Service over the next 6-8 weeks. Not to mention that I explained the issue over an over again each time I spoke to someone (annoying). Life goes on, I put it aside for awhile since I was getting no where but then in November thought I'd follow-up. Although there were helpful reps that tried many times to send me the supposedly infamous email including the offer that never came, when I finally spoke to a manager I was treated as though I initially contacted Best Buy and made up the offer. I finally wrote to their corporate office and now into the new year received a very vague but harsh letter saying that I did not qualify for any additional reimbursement. So guess what - 2014.... I received a new BB offer for a $50 Gift Card with reservation for new phone purchase. Nope - not going to get my business again. Even though they have trained their employees to be courteous - their management and corporate relations are HORRIBLE!!!! Start retraining your management level on how to treat your customers or maybe to even find out more before putting a hand in the face and stop false advertising BESY BUY(?)! Love my phone but not the shoddy business behind it. I'll bet the manufacturer would not be too happy with the way customers purchasing their product are treated.

The Best Buy offers a mediocre service. The staff is not qualified to discuss the technicality of any product.

I purchased a Nikon camera for over $600, and when I came home and opened the box, there were many items missing. I returned the same day to return it, because I did not want to get stuck with a useless item. After all the hassle, the staff did not even care to prologize for the inconvenience, nor did they offer an explanation to why these items were missing from a perfectly brand new box. Anyway, I will never buy anything from Best Buy, nor will I recommend it to any one.

The store in question is the one located at Ontario street in Vancouver. The staff should learn from the Europeans who treat their customers like Kings.

But then, what could we say, knowing that these stores hire the high school dropouts. what a shame!
