Poor service and bad products | Best Buy review from Clearwater, Florida

I bought a low end computer for my daughter. The cord got ruined so I went to best buy to get another. They didn't carry the cord so the person told me to a universal cord and "it will definitely fit." Of course when I got the cord home it didn't fit. Then I went back to the store and they told me to order online Best Buy parts. I plugged in the model number, ordered and got the wrong cord. So yet another trip back to best buy... this time customer service said best buy parts doesn't carry the cord. Best buy sells the computer but not the cord in store or online! The customer service person was soooo rude. So after two Best buy people gave me the wrong information the third was simply nasty and appalled that I thought Best Buy should carry accessories for products they sell!!

This occured at the CLEARWATER FL store. Still, to thi day, DELL WILL NOT help me obtain SERVICE or ANYTHING else to relieve current operating probs. Buyer beware and ask questions. In hindsight, I should have asked for a signed and written stmnt saying I was purchasing a brand new computer, and not a used, or refurbished.I have heard and read many many any complaints against best buy in the past but I had been treated good many times i had made other purchases. Little did I know the worst and most detrimental problem I would really hurt me. t me $$ 800.00. And being on a small budget, not good.

I bought a cell phone from best buy. I dropped my phone called bbuy and was told that they no longer carried the carrier i had called corporate office they said they would refund my minutes due to i just put minutes on it well i called and called they said i have a credit being sent to me on april 8th still havent received it. Took phone in to best buy had to buy unlocked phone because i was told by metro that that would work so i got there and then he the salesman told me no i had to fork out 50.00 for a different carrier then i wasbnot offered insurance he told me my deductable would be higher than the phone. So then i complained and then the manager called me really nice guy seemed sincere i ended up coming in after calling him and him telling me to bring my phone in cause it was messed up so i got there to the store asked to speak to him i was told that he was busy and someone else could help me the guy helped me allright he told me the phone i had they didnt have so he told me that the blu dash was an upgrade to what i had yet it had a smalled camera pix less mgs which he told me but then he did something anf told me to call someone oh ya guess what i dont have half my contacts he just kept saying i dont know why they r not there i got tired of hearing that he dint know why that i left how could it be an upgrade if i cant even download apps such as my banking mobil which i had previously and that i have to fight to get my wifi but yet can pull out an older phone to use my wifi and no apps like i had. Who cares rt?????

I bought a metro(switched from tmobile)on feb 24, 2015. I dropped my phone on 3/31/2015 i just added mi utes on the 23rd. i paid for the insurance through b buy. I called to see what i could do they no longer carry metro manager not helpful at all at mall store. Called another b buy they told me id have to contact metro. I called metro after three people the only thing they could do was putmy minutes on an unlocked phone. I called the b buy i bought the phone from again asked for manager and the guy who didnt help me was the mNager.i asked for the corporate office number then he startes looking into it. My problem is. When i bought phone was not asked if i wanted the insurance from metro only b buys ok fine but they no longer carry so im on the phone for 4 hours seriously after 12hr day at work to be told haha u baught our insurance so now that we dont carry this service we wont give u your money back but a store credit u have to change services so your out the money for your minutes. Then if i could have afforded other good phones from a relable and good service i would have stayed with tmobil but could not afford their phone. Then i call corporate to be told ill give you a gift card to best buy but it will not be here for 7_10days. Oh ya i am working out of town and have my mail forwarded and was told they could not send to a po box. Really beat buy. Id understand if you had product but you dont carry. Customer service at two stores and even corporate is terrible yall need to rememsber if you didnt have customers you would not have a job
