When I originally typed my review I forgot to state that a full refund for the

internet security software was initially given on August 8th, promptly followed by the recharge, also dated August 8th.

I ordered a Dell Inspirion laptop from BestBuy.com on August 8th that was supposed to come with free internet security software. I cancelled my order within ten minutes and although the price of the computer was correctly refunded, I soon discovered that I had been charged for the supposedly free software! According to customer DIS-service the software is a separate purchase through Geek Squad, and this purchase is showing as active. As if THAT wasn't deceptive enough, that same amount was promptly recharged back to my account! No where in the fine print on the product page or final checkout was I notified about any charges for cancelled orders, and then the outrageous second charge! I have spoken to customer disservice twice and keep getting the runaround about how soon I can expect a PROPER refund, so I have disputed the charge with my bank and am also going to write a nasty gram to Best Buy corporate.

Gift card not valid because of "Best Buy system error"

On July 31st 2016, I went to Best Buy in Boynton Beach, FL.I stopped at the customer service counter to ask how much was on my brand new gift card, it was not peeled yet and still stick on a carton. They said there was nothing on it but it seemed to be a Best Buy corporate system error, Vanessa is the one that peeled the number off the card, so she called Best Buy to clarify. I stood at the counter over an hour and hold the phone for her because she was on hold for a long time and needed to keep working. I ended up the phone when an agent picked-up. They said that "yes" there has been a system error somehow and they will issue me a new one. The phone agent took all my information. I wasn't happy about that as I saw a computer I was going to buy and was wondering how much my balance was. The phone agent, Judy, and the store told me they could not give me an email confirmation of the new card being mailed but they said, it will be in the mail for sure. Judy did give me a reference#183279262 I asked for the store Mgr., but never came to talk to me, Cherash was the name. I decided to call back today to make sure all is in order, but all agents I talked to, either transferred me, and then Soleil told me there was no balance on this card and it was used June 2016. I did make a purchase that date but NOT with that gift card. FYI: I had 3 gift cards; 1 I used and finished 7/31/2016 at the store. another one with a balance of: $164.76 AND this brand new one: #6099 9156 0197 3100 PIN#1127 -that I'm being told is not valid. Vanessa at the store told me July 31st, there was almost $300. on that card, but did not give me a correct amount. Please, please have your agents looked up at that phone call on July 31st, 2016. Worst Customer Service! Get it together Best Buy!!!

Worst customer service ever! I purchased a gift off of a wedding registry with Best Buy. When the wedding registry didn't update the gift as "fulfilled" I called the customer service line so that they could update the registry and prevent someone else from duplicating the gift. HOLY COOWWWWW.. 2 hours later, I spoke to at least 6 different representatives and no resolution! 2 different people tried to transfer me unsuccessfully and without notifying me they were doing so which leads to either a dropped call or an auto prompt telling me to "enter my transfer code"before dropping the call. Another agent either dropped my call or hung up on me after 15 minutes of being on hold. In case you are unfamiliar with their process, each time a call is dropped you are cycled back into the wait list which means I am on hold for 20 minutes in between unknowledgeable employees who cannot even transfer a phone successfully. After 2 hours of what appeared to be a game of phone tag or an episode of "punk'd" I get transferred to the corporate office. After being placed on another hold for several more minutes the response I got was "you need to cancel your order and try ordering through the registry again"........ After telling the gentleman my level of frustration and dissatisfaction with their company (with tears in my eyes because i was THAT frustrated) I get off the phone with him and attempt to cancel my order.. Which at this point is in the "processing" phase meaning I have to call back in and cancel (sure wish the gentleman would have taken care of this when we were on the phone). I call back in, wait another 15 minutes to speak with someone and guess what??? THEY CANNOT CANCEL MY ORDER! I need to wait several days and call back! What a freaking mess!!! 2 hours of complete nonsense, no resolution, just unexperienced, unknowledgeable, incompetent personnel. If this is the way their system is set to operate then i'm sorry but a new system is needed! My level of frustration is at an all time high and I do not wish to do business with Best Buy again.. Over something that should have been so simple! Get it together Best Buy!

Best buy looses ALL MY PICTURES

You worked on my computer and lost over 5000 photos! I sent it in three times to the store in Sarasota, it was supposed to be backed up and it was not backed up. Unreplaceable photos and videos were lost and you refused to acknowledge it. I talked to the manager, no help. How can you destroy someones business like this and take no responsibility! I took it back twice to get the photos put back and it was not done, and now this is not accepting this box because you say there are not 100 words here but there is more than 100 words here.

I call Best Buy credit card to pay off before the date in full. But i was told that i cannot pay with Best Buy credit card i have used different so i can get 10% credit card. I then tryed to used different credit card then i told no have to be debit card so Best Buy kept on make me run around. So then i paid full with my debit card $1544.49. And i told i will get email that i paid in full and on my credit card balance will be zero. I have waited almost two week still have not got email from them. And i have made 4 phone call and explaining to them still getting run around. NEVER TRUST THEM AT ALL IF DO YOU MUST BE CREZY.

Purchased a refrigerator through the St. Petersburg store and asked the sales person for late delivery. He provided correspondence that stated what time I should expect a call, the automated call came early (I was not home) and was not within the window that I had previously requested. I called the first thing in the money to provide a contact number for 30 minute call ahead. The person called at 10:10 a.m. EST per the missed call log of my cell phone and did not leave a message. I could not imagine a business would call for a specific reason (call ahead) and would not leave a message. Shortly thereafter, I decided to return the call thinking it may have been Best Buy (863-256-1311). A rude customer service representative (Lisa) confirmed that it was them calling for the 30 minute call ahead. Best Buy's driver left a sorry they missed me tag with the time of 10:20 a.m. on my door. I called repeatedly to let the customer service group know that driver did not uphold the request and of the 3 times I called, they all said sorry, but the driver was not going back. I asked to speak to a manager and was told JJ was in a meeting but he too reviewed the issue and said the driver could not go back. I repeatedly explained to each customer service representative that I had 4 coolers of food that needed to be refrigerated or frozen to no avail. Then, I mentioned to Janet, the last customer service representative that repeatedly I had been told what the driver could not do and no one had ever tried to rectify the situation by offering that the delivery take place tomorrow. The last time I purchased big ticket items was 13 years ago for this very reason. Their customer service if awful. Janet is the only one who gave 100% and is obviously the only one who understands the definition of excellent customer care in the entire corporation. Too little, too late.
