As of January 15, 2019 I have not been contacted by Best Buy. Not holding my breath.
Does the company typically respond to complaints on Pissedconsumer.com website? I am surprised how poorly the company is rated on this site but given a lack of effort to remedy people’s complaints noted here it seems warranted.

A “selling point” made when buying extended warranties on THREE new laptops was that Best Buy would replace the batteries -in store - when close to end of the 3 year contract.
Geek Squad does NOT honor that commitment. First I had to leave laptop for 24 hrs for “diagnostics”. Then, if they agreed with decreased battery results, they would send laptop to Tennessee for “2 to 4 weeks” to have battery replaced.
I will take my business somewhere else.
