I bought a router at Best Buy and then returned it because the sales rep didn't tell me I needed a modem to work with it. Then another sales rep told me I could get a free model from Spectrum so I bought another router from them.

I spent about 40 minutes on the phone with Netgear and the tech support person said he had done everything he could and I should return the router to Best Buy because it was defective. So I bought a third router which also failed to work after spending another 40 or 50 minutes on the phone with Netgear. I returned the router to Best Buy and got one from Spectrum which worked immediately. Then I found out that it takes 3 to 5 days for the money for all these returned routers to be returned to my bank account.

They did not tell me that, or I would have asked for cash.

Now there are overdraft notices resulting from these transactions with Best Buy. I cancelled my credit card with them and I'm never shopping there again.
