No good

Every company are using the coronavirus of excuses for not talking to customers on their stores personal. The used of masks are optional. Is already proven that mask not really needed. Also using automatic system is not helping much. For me is a way to hide from the customers.

Screwed on Computer Purchase

Ordered a Computer in Dec (3,000) Received Second week in January. Arrived missing the WIFI card. Went to Best Buy they said we cant help you contact manufacturer. A week later the card shows we took it to Best buy the installed. 6 weeks later the complete computer fails. Took it to best buy they say we cant fix it. Here is some store credit minus the $279 you paid for geek squad. So basically I rented a faulty computer for 1 little over a month and a half for $279. The should be a better warranty policy than 15 days for manufacturers defects.

User's recommendation: Avoid them like the plague. They are right there when your spending your money but phone, store and online support is God Awful if you have a problem.

Screwed on return

I bought a computer ($3,000) on their web site. It arrived 2nd week of January. It was shipped to us missing the WIFI card we contacted Best buy and they told us to contact the manufacturer. We waited another week for the card to show we took it to Best buy Geek Squad to install. 6 weeks later the computer crashes we again take it to Best Buy they say well we cant fix it so here is some store credit minus $279 (Geek Squad Protection) for us having to take it back. Say Basically we rented the damn thing for $279.

User's recommendation: They have a huge lack of support after the purchase. Phone support runs you around in circles.

Won’t install or employ common sense.

IThe installer only had baby tools and couldnt unscrew the cold water hose. I was told that I need a plumber to replace the valve. I am kicking myself for not grabbing my channel locks and done it myself and buying into his *** The plumber got it without any issue, he couldnt understand why I called him. (He had normal sized tools) Couldnt get them to come back. (They Cant get a hold of the driver.) if I had employees that I cant contact, I would have different employees. So they wanted to reschedule 10 days out. That pissed off the wife and she canceled the order. $3,150.

User's recommendation: If you want them to install, your area better be pristine. Don’t want the snowflakes to work too hard.

Can’t install washer and dryer.

The installers have a little kids tools and couldnt unscrew the cold water hose. I feel so stupid because I bought into the nonsense he was saying. If I would have gotten my channel locks, all would be fine. He said I need a plumber cut off the valve and have it replaced. The plumber gave it a turn, came right off. (He has big boy tools) Couldnt get them to come back to install, gave a new 10 day out appointment. Pissed off the wife, she canceled.

Couldn't install washer because the cold water value was hard to unscrew

The guy couldn't unscrew the Y hose from the cold water faucet. I just paid a plumber to come out and unscrew it. (Was told by installers I need a new valve.) He unscrewed with no problem. NOW we have to reschedule for another day because the dude is a snowflake.

I went to 68th st Best Buy. I bought a portable backup. When I pay, I asked her one thing she didn't even know about products made me almost not bought it and gave me a bad attitude treats me really different from others that one nice to a customer before me. Even I can't use the bathroom without code !! Someone open for me, but she was so nasty. Not everybody likes them, but two girls make me so upset. I will order online from amazon. Why do I have to go there humiliated by employers?

Bad experience

Bought a TV from Best Buy for $75. Terrible sound quality. Called and they suggested sound bar for $50. After one hour with support he suggested they come to my home and set up. He said no charge. At time of appt, I took off work to be here, they call and say there is a charge, not free. Tried calling Best buy . and couldnt get any help. When I said I will return them both no one cared. When I said I wont renew total tech support, no one cared.

Refund of $3800.00 due since December 2020.

Had 2 different purchases of $1938.00 each for Geek Squad service. They are not responding to my requests. They give me a case number and say they are working on it but I do not hear from them and I have to do the contacting. I have spoken with 14 different people since trying to get my money returned.

User's recommendation: Do not use Geek Squad. I was in process of needing a new laptop and going there, but that is not happening.

An electronic was purchased on march 24th 2021 at 6:47 est or cst not sure but i never had an account with bestbuy never shopped with bestbuy not sure how my card was used online if it was not me the amount was 356 dollars and 24 cents my bank informed me that i cant dispute because its still pending but it was not me my card should not have been used

Bought it with my son for his birthday he didn't want Christmas or birthday he just said I really want theNew xbox of you can afford it now I have to tell him after he helped order it that the company messed up you don't get your console get to see him cry when he was so happy
