Why is it so hard to believe that people have good experiences? Why is it you automatically jump to the conclusion that they must work for B.B.?

Isn’t possible that out of the millions of customers that one of them had a pleasant experience? Just saying you can’t automatically assume that everyone had your experiences.

I went to the Best Buy in Clovis, CA store #1188 and purchased a Samsung TV on 06/17/15 at 18;15PM. When I brought it home, I took it out of the box and the screen was cracked. I called the Best Buy store that same evening and spoke with associate Jonathan. He and another young lady were the ones who helped me with my purchase at the store. Jonathan said for me to bring my TV back and Best Buy would process my exchange. I told them I did not have a vehicle large enough to bring it back that same night and would have to be the following morning. June 18, 2015 I bring the TV to get it exchanged. I spoke with General Manager Kevin Darling and explained what happened. We paid for the TV. Two Best Buy employees pulled the item from back inventory and rolled it out to the parking lot using a dolly and loaded the TV into my car. We never handled the unit from the store to my car. It is a 2 mile drive from the store to my house. We brought it home and opened the box and saw the crack. The manager refused to take it back stating that I tampered with it. I told him I wasn't going to eat $1,173. Kevin told me my only course of action was to contact Customer Service. In fact he pretended to dial a number, handed me the phone and walked off. Very classy move. Apparently, each store can take back whatever it wants, there is no corporate policy even though it clearly states on your Return & Exchange literature: "You can return or exchange almost everything within 15 days for a full refund. Simply bring your item(s) to us with all contents and packaging, proof of purchase and ID, and we will process your return or exchange" I've held up my end of the bargain. I informed the Store of purchase immediately after I bought it of the problem and returned it right away, not a week later. Best buy still refuses to take it back or replace it. I was refused communication with any higher level management. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT BEST BUY AGAIN and am currently seeking legal action.

I was looking to buy a tv from best buy that was open box. After numerous calls and being told by workers at best buy when asking to speak with a manager I was told they are closing in 30 minutes and to call back the next day! A few days later my fiancé and I went into the store and was told the tv was not for sale that they never had one that online was wrong. So we ended up buying one brand new. We did not have a truck so we had it delivered. They delivered it a few days later. We unboxed it set it up and went out of town for a couple days. When we got back we were finally able to use it only to find the screen had white pixels on the bottom left. I immediately called and told them which was on a Thursday. I was told they could not bring one till next Wednesday. Which I agreed to. I was also asked to please re box the 70" tv. Later that night we found out the upgraded model was only $100 more so we decided to ask to change it to the upgraded model. We were told we would have to pay another $2000 if we wanted the tv since we would not get the refund until they picked it up between 7am and 7pm on Wednesday. We asked if they would still honor the price the next week since they sale ended that Sunday. Which of course they said no. On that Monday we called and cancelled our order. We just wanted to return the tv and get our credit back on our credit card. They assured us that it was cancelled and they would still be picking it up. Wednesday was our day off we waited there all day until 7pm and no one showed up! I immediately called the BB location we bought the tv and spoke with a manager who was very nice and apologized up and down and assured he would figure out what happened and was upset that he lost our business because best buy online would not "play ball" on the price. He said he would call back. He returned with a phone call 15 minutes later saying he apologized again and said ( I know this is a dumb question. But, do you even have a tv of ours because we don't show we have even delivered it ).... Seriously !?!? Again, he said he would get to the bottom of it and have someone come pick it up... He said he would call the next day... I waited for his call.. No call, I called best buy he already left. I called the next 5 days and he was either off that day or already left. Every time leaving a message with no return call. I finally spoke with another manager who had someone out the next day to pick it up... It's been 4 days since then and my card still shows the charges.. Let's see if they actually return it. Best buy... Seriously we got a credit card with you just for this tv. And now we want to destroy this card to never have to think about getting anything with you again.... So disappointing.

Don't shop at Best Buy

Best Buy , I used to only shop at Best Buy for electronics. So last week my sister bought a new computer from Best Buy (Bakersfield) and tried to get Microsoft office for it, but unfortunately they were out so they recommended we drive to their other store more than an hour away in Visalia. When we arrived we asked for Microsoft office for the MacBook, bought it and left. That night my sister had trouble installing it and we called Best Buy and confirmed our fears that they had sold us the wrong version, but we were assured by the Best Buy employee in Visalia that they would return it because it was there mistake. I explained my sister was leaving that night to go to school and still he said there would be no problem. There was a problem because Dave at the Best Buy in Robinson, Pa told us he could not exchange it because it was open. I talked to him on the phone to make sure he wouldn't take advantage of a timid college freshman, and once I got off the phone he took off to the back and would not come out and fix the situation. So now my sister is mailing back the wrong version because the store I bought it from will take it back. So I am annoyed to say the least. My family has seven children, and 14 grandchildren so you just lost at least twenty customers, not because of making a mistake but refusing to rectify the situation. I am reporting the incident to the better business bureau so hopefully your store does not do the same thing to someone else. Sincerely, Kevin

How were you sold the wrong version? And due to copyright laws open software, movies, games, etc can only be exchanged for the exact same item

Fry's Please come to Fresno Best Buy sucks

Called for service on Washer & Dryer, the tech came before the 4 hour time window they gave me. I called they kept telling me someone would come. Then to find out 5 hours later the tech canceled my apt. Since I was not there when he arrived. No one could tell me this when I called every hour. I took the day off waiting for the repair man. He even dated the sorry I missed you card as of July and it is December. I cannot get anyone to call me back or come for service. I was told a supervisor would call the following day. No call to date.

You don't want fry's either. They rip you off too with their non-service policy. Never buy from there over 4 years ago and now BB is on that list.
