I purchased a Rand McNally Overdryve7 on June 1 and it was installed on June 9th. The USB port is broken. Rand McNally said I could take it back to Best Buy. Their customer service people were very rude. They refused to do anything. They would not exchange it or fix it or refund my money. I have not even paid for this as yet. ($ 323.00) They would not even let me talk to a manager. They said there was no one on the floor. Seriously? Also, according to Rand McNally today, they "needlessly" hard wired it to my car. I will never buy anything at Best Buy again. Terrible store and terrible service.

Why is it so hard to believe that people have good experiences? Why is it you automatically jump to the conclusion that they must work for B.B.?

Isn’t possible that out of the millions of customers that one of them had a pleasant experience? Just saying you can’t automatically assume that everyone had your experiences.

They would not update my address and then charged a late fee | Best Buy in Mill Valley, California

I moved. Best Buy was the only credit card company that would not update my address over the phone. I guessed my minimum payment and missed by two dollars. They charged me a 27.00 dollar late fee. When I called to complain they were horrible and rude. They insisted I should have known I was off by two dollars. They even admitted they refused to change my address. I guessed at the minimum payment because I did not get a bill and I missed by two dollars and they charged me $27.00 dollars for a late fee. I will refrain from ever buying anything at Best Buy again.

Best buy Geek Phone Service is ***.

I don't want apologies or something from best buy.... Just got pissed off from the Lady who got my phone call.... I asked for installation service for my TV and Sound System....and she gave me the soonest date will be on 8/10/16...(Today is 8/1/16)and kind of pushing me to say yes to schedule that date...I asking if is possible to get me a sooner re schedule date and she start repeat August 10.....but...my wife just call to the best buy and she get a re scheduled for August 4th....and also for the Washer and Dryer. But the main reason of this email is the lady from Geek Squad make me pissed off, cuz I couldn't make the reschedule for the washer and dryer cuz the order is on my wife name....and I explained to her that my wife having a difficult time to make the phone call cuz she taking care of two lil ones so I feel that lady don't care about it and pretty sure she don't want work.(I was so pissed that my wife just call and she made the reschedule)for both with out any problem.i have the conversation recorded.

Hello, My Harutun Yepremyan I am a best buy credit card holder.. I purchased a washer from best buy online but after using i am very dissatisfied with the machine so i decided to exchange/return it for an different one.. My comment is on the customer service department how unprofessional group of call takers i had to deal with which got me writing this email.. First time i called i don't get his name but after telling him my concern with the machine he transferred my called which asked for a code which the rep didn't tell me i needed a code to transfer so it HUNG UP.. Second attempt i called and spoke with another agent name Josh which i explained my concern and again got transferred and line get HUNG UP once more.. Then for the 3rd attempt called this time i asked for manger/supervisor which the person on the phone said " we are call transfers we don't have a manager or supervisor" I asked for his name because he picks up but doesn't mention his name so i asked numerous times for his name so he tells me Oscar, I tell Oscar this my 3rd time calling and getting transferred and no one answers and call gets hanged up, I asked can you make sure i get to someone when you transfer me so i don't get this run around of calling back he said " no we can't do that" with no choice i said ok transfer me so he does guess what I get hung up again.. not happy at all with customer service..

went in to best buys in Beaumont CA on 6/5/16 around 5:00pm due to a problem with cell phone. after waiting a associates by the name JG ask what my problem was once explained he said I'll be right back. once he return he told my to take this info home and do what it said to have my phone replace when I informed him I only have the cell phone he reply use the internet. I then ask to speak with his supervisor Javier who was also rude and who then told my to go to the front of the store and use the phone but he also had no time to take care of this issue. Due to this problem and there rude behavior I inform the I would be cancelling and no longer shopping at best buy. they said fine we don't need you to shop here so I will no longer shop with your company and will be cancelling my credit card and my insurance and inform all family of friends of this experience and not to shop with best buy as well

About 6:30 PM last night I went into the Best Buy in the mall off of Imjin Road in Marina, Ca. I had 4 things I wanted to check out and buy. (I was ready to spend over $1,000.00) I walked through the whole store into the 4 different departments where the items were. It's a large store. There were many sales people on the floor in their blue outfits. In EVERY case, whenever I saw a salesperson, they were talking with 1 or more of their coworkers and in 1 case there were at least 6 hanging out at a desk. I was invisible to them. NOT ONCE was I asked if I needed help in any way. They were all content with having a fine time hanging with their buddy coworkers. I'm thinking that Best Buy's new policy is for the customer to ask THEM for assistance. NOT ACCEPTABLE! I guess they don't care about selling their inventory, much less customer service. Well, There is the internet, Fry's and Costco where we can buy everything Best Buy carries. I seriously hope that store fails and has to close. I had to laugh when the Best Buy "greeter" at the door said "Thank You" to me as I was leaving.

All Best Buy store locations are this way that I've ever been to. I've not only been ignored by socializing employees, but when I ask for help, they pretend like I'm not there.

I called best buy if i can return an item and buy again that day since the price went down $50. They told me they can take care of it on the phone since my brother is an elite plus member. So after two weeks i called to followup on the status since no amount difference was credited back to my account. Then they said there was no processing happening, in short as if i didnt call last time. Then they passed the call to 5 different people until i talked to an agent, who was pissed herself because a lot of people has asked her to take this call. Then she just suddenly told me if i want her to break the company policy. I said what?! She just asked me to give her a brief background of the return and then she just suddenly gone mad. omg. Had no choice but to hang up coz it doesnt make sense to talk to people like that! That person is sooooo rude, best buy should flush out all those bad customer service out of their system!

Best Buys worst customer service ever

I have now had several dealings with customer service at the Best Buys store in Costa Mesa CA. What I hate the most is their 15 day return policy. I bought a TV over the internet, and it turned out to be a POS. BB refused to take it back because they said it had been more that 15 days since I ordered it. They did not care that it had just been delivered 2 days ago. I keep asking myself why I keep doing business with them. This is truly the last time! I hate you BB, you are the biggest corporate rip off artist ever.

Why electronics only have a 15 day return its usually 30 days or 90 days. that lets you know best buy is up to no good...
