Go outside, pick up a rock, bring it inside....this is about what you're going to get if you buy an ASUS anyway....a paperweight. Bought a brand new, transformer book from Best Buy LAST CHRISTMAS for boyfriend and it has been nothing but a headache. Quick overview: problems straight out of box, returned to best buy and got a replacement. He set it up, used it for maybe an hour, shut it down. Went to play on it a couple of weeks later, no power. Best buy refused to exchange due to out of exchange date, called ASUS and troubleshoot for 4 hours with no luck. Send it in, wait a month, get it back "fixed"....it doesn't boot past certain screen. Sit on phone for several more hours, send it BACK in, wait a month, get it back "fixed" again....touch screen doesn't work. Sit on phone for several MORE hours, send it in, you get the point....on the 3rd "fix" I threw a fit and they offered a refubished model......um....I never even used the NEW computer! Well, we settled and waited for the email to approve (this is August by this point) and finally get it after several calls. We reply to the email (september) and hear nothing for over a month. Call back in October and settle again for a replacement we don't want but just want to be done. November...we receive NOT THE LAPTOP WE AGREED TO!!! it was tiny and not a transformer! So the calls begin again....Just about a month away from Christmas and we are still trying to get a working replacement for a Christmas gift from last year. So, seriously, save yourself the time and headache and just get a rock....you won't be so upset when it breaks.

Ordered camera battery online (and cringed doing it; it just doesn't go well with Best Buy online). The box arrived damaged, broken open, with no battery inside. Perhaps it shipped empty, or someone stole it. It was one of those folded-bottom boxes you can just press open. A week of phone tag between UPS and Best Buy, with the usual dealing with phone reps. They just wouldn't understand that I had an empty box, and couldn't return the battery. They finally said I have to go to the store; avoiding that was the whole point of ordering online. Ate it, won't order online from Best Buy again.

No Delivery on appointed day, no-one to call, Best Buy Don't Care!

Best Buy Don't Care! They have my $1900 for the appliances I paid for! We were assured a delivery between 8am and noon, at 1:30 we phoned and eventually got the salesperson @ Pacific Sales. He says he can't call anyone, so he e-mailed on pour behalf. What to do? Wait? Today is time -critical, I have many more jobs to do out of the house, and can't afford to stay at home Saturday waiting for Best Buy Don't Care! How do I deal with them? Never again will I walk out of one of their stores without my purchase or I won't pay for the item in advance.

I bought an entertainment center from Best Buy in Irvine, California. They said "it shipped" the next day. Five days later the only thing in their system was a note that the label had been initiated. I checked with UPS; they did not (and still do not) have it in their system. I went to the store to cancel the order with the proof that the product had in fact not shipped and was told there was nothing they could do because it had shipped, even though I had proof in hand that it had NOT shipped. They charged my card on the day of purchase. My only options are 1) refuse the shipment and gamble that they will not lie about the return, or 2) Receive it and haul it back to the store unopened. Obviously, I'm going for option 2. DO NOT PURCHASE PRODUCT FROM BEST BUY UNLESS THEY HAVE IT IN STOCK AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE!

Delivery/installation problems BIG TIME! | Best Buy review from Novato, California

I just had a washer and dryer delivered. The crew of two left before I got a chance to see the installation (my husband saw it but didn't know what the driver had been told). I specifically told the man that was out on the street connecting the vent and gas line that I wanted the dryer on the LEFT! The gas line is on the left, the water lines are on the right. So I go out and find the DRYER IS ON THE RIGHT with water lines running behind it and the WASHER IS ON THE LEFT with the gas line behind it. This might not be a big deal to many but to me I am so mad I am seeing red. I specifically went out to tell them. He said he understood and for me not to worry. He would do it right. Now I have been on hold with Best Buy for over an hour while they try to reach the delivery dept so they can get the guys back here to do it the right way. My husband is having major surgery in two days, I don't have time for this. I told them I wanted a refund of the $20 I had to pay to have the gas hooked up (I could have done it myself) and they told me I had to go to the store where I bought it to get a refund. I BOUGHT IT ONLINE!! Shouldn't they be able to tell that by looking at my order? If my husband wasn't having surgery I would just have them take the whole order back and go elsewhere. I chose Best Buy because they had the fastest delivery. Never again. Warning, don't use Home Depot either. They hooked up my friends washer leaving the Styrofoam packaging between the drum and the inside of the casing. No good delivery crews out there any longer.

I moved. Best Buy was the only credit card company that would not update my address over the phone. I guessed my minimum payment and missed by two dollars. They charged me a 27.00 dollar late fee. When I called to complain they were horrible and rude. They insisted I should have known I was off by two dollars. They even admitted they refused to change my address. I guessed at the minimum payment because I did not get a bill and I missed by two dollars and they charged me $27.00 dollars for a late fee. I will refrain from ever buying anything at Best Buy again.

Best buy Geek Phone Service is ***.

I don't want apologies or something from best buy.... Just got pissed off from the Lady who got my phone call.... I asked for installation service for my TV and Sound System....and she gave me the soonest date will be on 8/10/16...(Today is 8/1/16)and kind of pushing me to say yes to schedule that date...I asking if is possible to get me a sooner re schedule date and she start repeat August 10.....but...my wife just call to the best buy and she get a re scheduled for August 4th....and also for the Washer and Dryer. But the main reason of this email is the lady from Geek Squad make me pissed off, cuz I couldn't make the reschedule for the washer and dryer cuz the order is on my wife name....and I explained to her that my wife having a difficult time to make the phone call cuz she taking care of two lil ones so I feel that lady don't care about it and pretty sure she don't want work.(I was so pissed that my wife just call and she made the reschedule)for both with out any problem.i have the conversation recorded.

I went to the West L.A Best Buy located on Pico Blvd to purchase a new cell phone and have my old contacts and such transferred over. I must say that this Best buy has horrible customer service, the entire staff were either talking or texting on their personal phones, talking among themselves and not helping! I waited in line for a good hour before getting ringed up, having only a family ahead of me! The personnel by the name of Sonny was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and lacking any knowledge of phones! First off he handled my new phone very abruptly, kept hitting the screen buttons very hard, until I took it away from him and asked him just to walk me through it. He kept looking at his watch the whole time and asked two employees if they could help because he first off couldn't find the Settings app, he couldn't find the volume buttons (located on the back of the phone), and he couldn't figure out how to transfer any of my pictures and contacts over that were previously saved onto my SD card! I would avoid this best buy if you have any dire questions and help needed, and stay away from Sonny who is too incompetent and rude to be working there.
