BEST BUY - NO PSN CARD

I bought almost 48 hours ago a PSN 20$ card from best buy and their website sates that you get your e-mail with code in 15 MINUTES it's BEEN ALMOST 2 DAYS and nothing! I've sent e-mail and commented on their forum but no answer from NOBODY! that's outrageous! I'm about to cancel my purchase because it's ridiculous, if a company can't do what they promisse or state they shouldn't state it! I hope they know I have my rights as a consumer and if it were a problem with my credit card they should have told me already, and not make me look like an ***! THAT'S IT - BEST BUY NEVER MORE! AND I WANT MY PRODUCT!!!!

Best Buy in Middletown, New York - BestBuyFragrance.com Scam

This website sucks. They claim to send new unopened items which they did. But when I opened the bottle there was black specks in the cologne and it smelled absolutely nothing like the original. i have been wearing Abercrombie and Fitch's Feirce for years and it has a very strong and distinct smell. The cologne I received from bestbuyfragrance smelled NOTHING like the stuff I've been wearing for so long. I just emailed them for a refund but ater reading other reviews I have a feeling that's not going to happen. I guess we'll fing out.

Agreed this is nothing but a SCAM. Beware, someone is using the name BestBuy and adding Fragrance. Doesn't anyone know that this is a Trademark infringement?

Best Buy - Beware of

I ordered a Wii video game on-line at BestBuy.com. The only option offered was in-store pickup which I selected. Website indicated item was available. A day later I received an e-mail indicating my item was not available at my local Best Buy and to call the "Customer Care" number to pick it up from another store or to have it shipped to me. As there are no other Best Buys within a reasonable distance of my home, I called to select to have it shipped to me. First attempt I was disconnected. Second attempt I waited on hold for over 30 minutes only to be told that my only option was to get from a Best Buy store 90 miles from my home. When I asked to have it shipped from Green Bay to the Wausau store (since they wouldn't ship to me directly), I was told "Best Buy doesn't move merchandise between stores and that shipping would be at the discretion of the Green Bay store." Can't believe a store that specializes in electronics doesn't have a more accurate website and can't figure out how to transfer merchandise to satisfy customers. All their major competitors seem to have figured it out. I will no longer shop at Best Buy. Apparently this is how they treat their "silver premier" members...

Best Buy Sucks

Today I tried on line at best buy numerous times to get a gift certificate for my grandson, the site is very slow and I was not able to purchase anything. I called their customer hot line several times but they kept transferring me around to 16 yr. old kids who didn't know or care about anything.The gift card section on their website kept going on hold and blanked out numerous times then the whole site went down. For an electronics company their site is pitiful. When it comes to customer service, there is none. Never buy anything there. Finally, I went to Amazon.com Best buy sucks big time.

Why do you even have a store Best Buy?

online at Best Buy, I can find the camera I want and a great price too...to hurry things up, I can even go pick it up at the store, which is nearby...okay, sounds good to me...so off I go... "No, we don't have that camera at this store, but I can order it for you and have it shipped to you". Really? Do you think I came in to use your computer? The website says I can pick it up here... The San Marcos store has it, it you can go there.... so,*** I am, off I go 10 more miles....I find a person who can actually gets it....then the manager says, I have to buy it online to get that price and wait 2 hours while it gets processed...THEN I can pick it up at the store... really?! Or, I can pay $20 more to get it right now! LOL! why do they even have a store? Really ***, ***.

Stores nowadays want everyone to buy online. There's much less overhead expenses involved.

Still, if Best Buy has these little "online arrangements" that require you to wait, pay $20, have someone else order it for you, etc...then they need to make it much clearer when you order anything. What you went through is really uncalled for.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like Amazon just got more business!!

Sometimes taking a moment to fully read the information can clear up some of the confusion. Any item on bestbuy.com that says order online or in store in red lettering means that the item in question is an online only item, it will not be sold in stores.

The "in store" part of the red writing simply means you can come into any location and an associate can order the camera for you. That way they can answer any questions, ship to home or store, get you the correct accessories. Now as far as the pricing, best buy locations will match their online pricing UNLESS it specifically states the promotion is only available online. I'm not sure if the manager was mistaken or if the item in question was only on sale online.

Online orders do have a 2 hr hold on them, which stinks, I know, but all online orders go through the corporate office. The store cannot cancel, change or push through an online order.

If you come into the store to order the item, the associates have other avenues of getting you your item without using bestbuy.com, so they can ship it faster if needed, edit pricing, etc. Sounds like you had a frustrating experience, but hopefully this info will help in the future.

Best Buy in Newington, Connecticut - BestBuy-Worst Service

I purchased a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 phone with Android 1.6 from BestBuy last month and the guy I purchased it from in the BestBuy store said that there is an Android upgrade available on Sony Ericsson's website to OS 2.1 but later I found out that Sony doesn't have any plans for upgrading the OS on this phone anytime soon and now I'm stuck with this phone for who knows how long. I went to bestbuy to see if I can return or get a new phone but passing my 30 days time period, they said they cannot do anything about it. I spend a lot of money at BestBuy and have been a premium silver rewards member for a while now. This is ridiculous. I'm not happy with BestBuy at all and their very unhelpful responses from their team.

Fraudulent price guarantee at Best Buy

I saw a 52 inch TV on sale at Best Buy for $1,799.00 and saw the same TV on sale for $1,599.00 at a competitor's website. The sales manager at the Surrey Central Best Buy location in Surrey, British Columbia refused to honor Best Buy's price guarantee even after I provided him with a printout of the competitors price as proof. The manager's excuse - the competitor's price was below Best Buy's cost price, so he was not prepared to honor Best Buy's price guarantee. No other manager was available so I sent two e-mails to Best Buy's customer service - to date, they have either refused or chose not to respond. I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB, Consumer Protection Authority and the Competition Bureau for Best Buy's fraudulent marketing practices. Never buy from this business again.

I tried to do the same thing at my Best buy and they said, "Can't do it" , but they explained why... The website I brought the ad in from, on further investigation, is an "Authorized Re-Seller" meaning they sell "refurbished" items, NOT factory direct "New" items.

I asked the Mgr. about the quality of refurbished and he said "Most of them are great, but, when you buy "sight unseen" from the web, you can never be sure of the condition, how long it was used BEFORE it was refurbished, and who do you deal with if it fails again?. They offered me a substantial discount on a similar but better model (matched a local dealer even tho' the closest store had sold out-but a store 45 minutes away still had some)just to get my business. I thought they handled the issue professionally and with a great deal of tact.

I'm sure they get TONS of people wanting to match prices on "iffy" on-line merchandise and I bet it gets old really quick, but in my case, they did right by me. Just sayin'..........

Have you ever read the notices right as your walk into a Best Buy that says they reserve the right to refuse business with anybody they see fit? Have you ever read the fine print of their price matching guarantee?

Or were you just naive enough to think that there were no details, no stipulations, no exclusions, and downright no way for a manager to deny a sale? If you've made it far enough in life to be able to purchase 1600 dollar TV and not have learned that lesson by now, well congratulations, you're the luckiest human being in history.

Same problem with Bestbuy in Commack, NY. Went into the store with a local competitors ad and they refused to match the price.

I had the newspaper in hand. I was told the price was below their wholesale price????? Who cares if Bestbuy cannot obtain the item cheaper then the other store. The policy states, bring in the ad and we will simply match that price???

I called Bestbuy main office and no one could tell me why the store did not match the price.

Great customer service. I will buy my electronics else where.

By policy (and general rule) Best Buy doesn't pricematch competitor's websites. If a store's manager decides to do so, that's up to them.

Just ordered on line from best buy. An hour later I found the exact item 20% cheaper at by Greg.

Not sure how hard to get my 20 % will be. Best buy does state. " at time of purchase" but I can tell you that it will be the last time at best buy if I get jerked around. Why would I buy from best buy in the first place if others are cheaper.?
