Went to the Best Buy Store in Hammond, Louisiana on November 1, 2017 to purchased the Fitbit Ionic Smart Watch. I told the sale person that I would to buy the watch. Instead of coming back with the watch, he came back with his supervisor. The supervisor asked me was I really going to purchased the watch or just try it on. I was treated like a *** on the street or an homeless person. I told him that I came to Best Buy to buy a TV and the watch. However, I purchased the TV and went next door to Target and purchased the watch. I feel that I was treated unfairly.

Gee what can I say, I thought Best Buy was a solid place to shop and had prices and knowledge to make it worth while to drive to. After a simple request about buying a simple stereo system they said I needed a home theater system. Granted I'm knowlegabe and should have just stuck to my original game plan, I was told using sirus needed this specific unit, along with other things that he assured me was gong to make it all work beautifully. it would do everything I needed it to even though we did not have internet or cable in our vacation home in Mexico. I un-pack the entire system so I could hide it in our car to avoid the typical duty Mexico gets if bringing in anything purchased here. Never the less after hours of frustraiton trying to set this puppy up, I find I need to be on an internet net work and everything is controlled by a t.v. screen etc. I was so frustrated it bothered me for the next few days that I had asked the righ questions went to all this trouble and spent this amount of money to find I can't use it in our remote location. Just what i told the sales guy I didn't want to happen. yep I'm a dumb *** for letting someone sell me this but I trusted the sales person who up sold me big time. And like so many others I'm stuck. Bottom line I will never use Best buy for my needs. Its unfortunate as I own my own company and am the type of customer Best Buy needs to stay afloat. it won't be long, I can assure you they will go under. I saw something in the L.A. Times that Amazon is giving them a run for their money. After reading others reviews I can see the ship is sinking. I should have read the reviews first. if I did this to my customers I'd be out of business in the blink of an eye. I have a few choice words for Best Buy but can't use them on this review.

Best Buy in Vienna, Virginia - Horrible appliance purchase experience

My dishwasher purchase and installation was a complete disaster and I had such a horrible experience w. I'm not saying this is any particular person's fault, but bestbuy's sales and appliance delivery system is really outdated which prevents bestbuy's customer service representative to fix things for me. I was supposed to just wait at home for 4 hours out of 1 day for this but I ended up waited 16 hours out of 3 days and called at least 10 times to get this done. My origin appointment for dishwasher delivery and installation was Nov 21th, which bestbuy were supposed to deliver, install and haul-away at the same time. However I received a call that morning from the installer saying the warehouse didn't have the dishwasher available. Then I called to reschedule this for Nov 25 which I took a day off. However, I only got dishwasher dropped at my home without anyone to install it, plus the dishwasher installation kit was not delivered. Then I spent at least 2+ hours on 5+ calls to re-schedule the installation. I can't take any time off so I have to reschedule it for Dec 5th while having this extra dishwasher sitting in my small kitchen for over a week. I spent another 3+ calls trying to make sure the installation kit came with the installer on Dec 5th. Again, it failed. I have to buy another installation kit myself so that the installer can install the dishwasher because bestbuy's system is so disconnected. Ironically, on Dec 5th, someone showed up in the morning trying to haul away my dishwasher and I told him that another installer is coming and will do that. Now I expect to spend another 3+ calls trying to get a refund for my installation kit which never arrived. All the representative I talked were having trouble connecting those several items of a single order together (dishwasher, deliver, installation kit, haul away, installation service). I am really unhappy about the entire experience and probably will never buy an appliance from bestbuy .
