Best Buy - Arrogant employee would not honor price match

12/5/2017 10:20 am Best Buy 5019 S Cleveland Ave Fort Myers, Fl 33907. Spoke with JIM a salesman in the TV section. To make a long story short. JIM insisted that the price match was for an item sold and shipped by Amazon.com. I showed JIM the Amazon printout that a Samsung 40 TV was$390.44 on Amazon. Jim argued and disagreed. I asked to see a manager and he questioned why, that he (JIM) had already explained the policy. A Manager showed up a blond with tatoos on her arm and had little to say. I explained again that I had already verified the Amazon price and that it was sold and shipped by them. I just left and ordered the TV from Amazon, online, shipped and sold by Amazon as per Best Buy's policy. I have the receipt from Amazon and the cost was $390.44. Best buy's price at the store was $449.00. Jim, if that is his name was condescending and wrong. Even if he was correct I would not buy from this Best Buy store because of the employees attitude and the lack of interest from the Manager. Try and find an email to file a complaint. -----------no more best buy they have lost a long time customer.

When you go into a store 5 times and still get the run around from Blake the Geek Squad Manager might be time for him to be replaced. He promised, he lied and told us to take our business to other area establishments if we didn't like the customer service. I guess Best buy doesn't need the business nor do they care about customer service! SAD!!!

The customer is always right shouldn't mean anything at all. That being said, electric razors are not on Best Buy's 'nonreturnable' items list so perhaps calling corporate will get some action taken for you.

Sales people on staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the products they sell. It's when you have to deal with management like their Assistant Manager Sarah, to get an override code approved for a coupon voucher, that the whole buying experience is ruined. Her excuse for not honoring the discount, was that it was up to local store management discretion, whether to honor a corporate sponsored discount voucher. Congrats Sarah the joke is now on you. Your corporate office is sending me a $100 gift card, charged to your store, due to your lack of customer service skills. The nice sales people that work under you will more than likely lose their jobs and livelihood at your store, due to most locals I know buying from other stores or Amazon, so they don't have to step into your arena of incompetence.

Purchased new samsung tv, transported unit home to find out screen is broken. Immediatly called store and was told to "buy a bigger one" since they had no more stock. I then spoke to store manager and he ordered a new one and was to educate employee on proper way to talk to customers. On delivery day we were called to tell us brakes went out on truck and would be rescheduled, gift card was to be issued for trouble. 21 days later finally got tv, no gift card. Called local store to resolve and was told store manager was not available due to meetings. Called corporate but only directed to call centers. Finally transfered to store manager who could care less...he said online is separate company and not connected to store...remember i paided cash in store for tv...not his problem. In short this is why best buy is going out of business and amazon and sams club online will win. To bad customer service means nothing to best buy..get money screw people.

I've been a client for many years and I've been at this store many times. But this time the customer service was terrible. I just had to return an item that bought online as a gift ! But the Assistant "DIVA" Manager called Mayra, made it difficult and complicated. You can see that she doesn't want to help us and, while she was "talking" to us, she was looking her nails, talking loudly to other employees, making notes non related to my case and, making gestures like rolling her eyes upward.... is that a joke? Mayra, if you don't like to take care of customers, do not work at this kind of business, I bet there are other employees who really deserve your position. Also, GET REAL, acting like a "diva" doesn't make you superior, kid.

My son took his Switch controller to our Best Buy store because the controller never connected to the console correctly. The first girl told him it would be no problem to exchange. Another girl interrupted her and said she would not exchange it. He asked to speak to a manager, the manager never looked him in the eye and simply said, "nope I won't do it." My son said he felt they treated him like he was nothing. I called and spoke with the manager and he just defended himself. I was able to exchange the controller with Nintendo. Please know that you can always picket your local store depending on the laws in your city. It's not about the picketing or who sees you, it's about calling your local newspaper and letting them know you are picketing. My local paper said they would do an interview if I decided to picket. Those kind of articles can lose business for companies.

While he might have been better and more polite. Most retailers take 3-5 business days for the return to post to your bank. It's pretty well known but he should've been more polite to you.
