No such law exists. You are an adult and you have to protect yourself.

Next I doubt their policy is to actually hold your money as this would cause them to pay taxes now banks are different though.

Banks hold your money into their own "accounts" before being processed into your account which earns them interest. #Factsoflife

One of the worst customer treated place at Johnson town road location at PA. Talk with one of the customer representative he told me to get the device to the store for exchange coz I bought Mac pro book 10 days back and it stop working. But when I bought back to store they treated me unprofessionally. Worst place to shop. Never ever I will visit or I will refere my friend and family.

Best Buy - Buyers Beware of the 15-day return policy!!!

I have been spoiled by most places I shop having 30-90 days return policy (some even lifetime whenever you're unhappy) so didn't look close enough (my fault!). Not to mention everything was handle online so there is no "receipt" to look at closely. Came to find out the 15-day return policy when I thought about returning the purchase 3 weeks after purchase (still brand new in box). Again, thought I would have at least 30 days. When going back online to find the receipt and start the return process, the product icons showed as ineligible for return. Lesson learned!! Will never shop at Best Buy again!!!!!! Buyers beware!!!!!!

Frustrating Best Buy return policy

Unable to return five sealed Cd's purchased as a gift beyond the 15 day original purchase date. Contacted BestBuy.com and representative said he couldn't issue refund or return because of return policy. I went up the management level and team leader still denied return. Stuck with 5 brand new CDs I'll never use.
