I called the Best Buy and they told me they would price match. I went to the cashier with a modem and print out of internet modem price and he told me it was not good enough. Six months ago I bought my 65 inch TV and stand from this location. Never shopping there again. The cashier did not call over a manager and looked clueless and lost a good customer. I will buy the modem off the internet save the money and will never use this store again. This is what happens when young dumb cashiers try and handle issues. I was wonder why there were very few customers in the store.

Best Buy in Claymont, Delaware - Terrible in store service at concord pike

I was told that Best Buy would honor a cheaper price by a competitor store. BJS price for Bose Oundlink Mini Speaker is $159.99 and Best Buy is $199.99 and they would not honor this price so I bought it from BJS. Best Buy had Mini soft cover advertised on line for $16.99 online and I store, but when I took it to cashier it came up full price $24.99. I had to track down a different sales person and complain about the price. She said I will give it to you for $16.99 as though It was a favor.

Best Buy in Manchester, Connecticut - Misleading information

I bought a GPS and I asked few times how long is the return period the cashier said 30days. Brought it back before thirty days and they said it is 15 days . One employee said 30 days and the other employee said he does not honor their own employee's statement. I was misguided by their contradictory return policy . I need help . They said it is written on the receipt . That is why I asked the cashier several times to make sure it is 30 days . Can I please get some help. I have a best buy credit card and I should not have been treated like that .

Best Buy in Miami Springs, Florida - PRICE MATCHING IS A LIE!!!

PRICE MATCHING IS A LIE!!! Was just at my local Best Buy store in Hialeah, Florida looking for an item that my son has been shopping for for some time. When we got to the store we asked if they price marched and they said yes. We picked up the item and went to the cashier only for them to tell us at that time that they did not price match the site we found the item on. I say you either price match or you don't. I work in the customer service business and I can tell you that their manager had an opportunity to change the situation by simply saying we can't match that sites price but we can give you a discount, instead they just said no. I have been a long time customer of Best Buy and can sadly say, NEVER again will I shop at Best Buy. if Best Buy is interested in getting this customer back, they can start withy an apology in writing from the rude store manager they have and STOP false advertising. If they want to advertise "Selective Price Matching", they should do so and STOP lying.

Hello. I am a representative with Best Buy i apologize about your experience, and that our price matching policy was not explained in more detail.

We do price match, however it is only for local retailers and websites with 1st party posts, for example if a guy sells a tablet himself on amazon we cannot price match it as there is nothing to stop a customer from posting their own fake posts and then getting us to price match their own 100$ dollar ipad post. However if Amazon itself posts the ad.

and you can bring it in and show it to us on your phone tablet or computer we will price match it. As far as discounting an item thats fully up to the discretion of local management.

There was a Dyson D44 cordless vacum advertised in sundays flier.When I went to the store to buy one,the cashier said it was a different model.They then tried to pull the old bait and switch and sell me a more expensive one.I pointed out the one in the ad and requested that one even if they had to backorder it.After about 15 minutes of getting nowhere,no offer of a substitute or raincheck,I had run out of time an had to get to work.They made what should have been a simple purchase frustrating.I can clearly see why people are shopping online more.If you advertise something you know is a good deal,make sure you have enough inventory.

Best Buy in Westminster, Colorado - Terrible Customer Service

After buying a iPhone 6 case for my phone, I threw away the receipt and box. Called back the next day asking if there was any way I could return it and at least get a store credit. The manager I spoke with was very helpful tried to look me up with my phone number which the cashier did not ask me for. I told him I do not have the box or a receipt. I was told that as long as the product was still new and not ruined in any way then they will let me exchange it or they will give me store credit. I go in the store the next day and they told me there was nothing they could do after all that. They did not give me any options, just told me sorry. So it looks like I am no longer shopping at Best Buy.

Best Buy - ARROGANT, RUDE, and FALSE INFORMATION PROVIDED

I have gone into the Best Buy in Dekalb, IL twice. Both experiences were less than satisfying, I was angry leaving the building. The first experience, my roommates and I were going in to buy a TV. Though one employee was doing his best to find us the best price and TV for our budget, once we got to the checkout it was a totally different story. The cashier was supposed to be finding a TV at a store we could go pick it up at. He was on his phone the whole time, didn't tell us what he was doing, and had us standing there waiting for almost 20 minutes. We were buying a $300 TV, we felt that our purchase was not enough for the employees to treat us with respect. The second time I went into this store I was looking for a power cord for my TV, the woman in the front was nice and pointed me in the right direction. The salesperson in the TV department however, looked at me like I was crazy when I said what I needed. He showed me the only power cord they had, which wasn't the right one, and I inquired about whether I could purchase it from the company directly, in which he said to not bother because they don't distribute the parts, he said my best bet was EBay... He was rude, arrogant, and acted as if what I needed was *** and he couldn't help me so he didn't even try. While I was leaving the store the same woman who was nice, asked me if I found what i needed and I didn't, so she aggressively tried to sell me a TV as I'm clearly trying to get out of the store as fast as I can. This store is a poor example of customer service.

How is Best Buy supposed to fix this with you at your house? They can't activate the jetpack from your house.

They asked you if you wanted them to activate it and you said no.

Not their fault you were in a hurry, not their fault Verizon wouldn't activate it. And no they aren't going to reimburse you for your travel YOU said don't activate it I'm in a hurry.

Best Buy - Cashier Review from Louisville, Kentucky

I buy games movies cds headphones tvs everything from bestbuy. This is the second time I have tried to do a price match at the St Mathews store in Louisville and this last time I was talked to by an employee really bad just because I found a cheaper price on a pair of headphones than he could . The cashier verified that it was from amazon and said prime beside it . It was over half off but that is the store policy so if it is on a site that they should match and the same product then why is this employee talking to me crazy and after I backed out of the site he pulls it up on his phone by scanning it and acting like it is full price. Just because I try to get things as cheap as possible don't give him the right to talk to or treat a customer poorly. . Very sad

Best Buy doesn't match "Amazon Prime"...and frequently, items that look the same online are NOT actually the same and may not qualify for matching. BTW; Try asking Amazon to price match Best Buy sometime! SMH

Best Buy in Syracuse, New York - No return/ store credit/ exchange

Bought a $50 video game at Best Buy for a gift for someone. I thought they had a Xbox 360 but turned out they had the PS3. I explained my situation to them that I wanted to just change the game or anything at all.. but because it was past their lousy 15 day policy they could do Nothing for me. I am a manager at one of the jobs and a cashier at another and this is outrageous to me. I am now stuck with a $50 dollar game that I can't use. Still in the original package with the receipt! For now on I will avoid Best Buy at all cost.
