We purchased a pair of Beats Solo2 on sale for $149 in November. They were not the color we wanted, however we were assured that once the blue pair we wanted were in stock, we could exchange the red we purchased as long as it was by January 15.

We just attempted to exchange our red pair for a blue pair that the store had in stock for $259. We were told that we could not exchange them because the store no longer carries red nor blue. However we were holding a pair of blue in our hands that we got off the shelf, so obviously there was a pair there. Our red pair was the exact same thing as the blue pair, our red was in an unopened box, and we had our receipt.

When the manager scanned the red pair we were trying to return, they came up with the same $259 price.

He still refused to exchange them unless we paid the $110 difference between the sale price we paid for the red in November, and the price they were ringing up now. We are long time customers and now will never shop here again.

That does kinda suck. Unfortunately the color of the item indicates the price.

Because the red one was 149.99 and the blue one was probably the same they can't price match previous prices. Also if I remember that was for their Black Friday ad. I picked up a red one myself. They can't price match during that period anyway.

They can exchange it for anything but if it's different color or anything like that the price might be different. That's most places as well not solely Best Buy.
