My kids bought me a portable GPS for my truck for Christmas and my wife bought the compatible backup camera. When my wife purchased the camera they sent her an email that stated she could get free installation for the camera from Best Buy (Geek Squad).

I made the appointment at the store and had the camera with me and the email and was told to bring the email At the time of installation. The day of my installation I brought my camera, receipt and the letter for free install. I was told that they would not honor the free install and it would cost an additional $100 to have it installed. I talked to the manager and was told I should have read the fine print and that automotive parts, i.e.

Are not included however the email letter clearly stated the particular backup camera that was purchased. The manager would not budge or offer any type of compensation for their poor communication. I promptly returned the camera and vowed to never return, that didn't phase them at all. BestBuy is by far the WORST store I have ever dealt with when it comes to customer satisfaction.

If anyone is considering a purchase from this store please reconsider there are much better options out there, this place only cares about getting your money and more if they can.

I will never go back and all my friends will be hearing my story as well and hopefully staying away too. I personally hope that everyone who gets screwed by Best Buy will write a similar letter and hopefully one day they'll go out of business due to their total disregard of the customer.
