Defective merchandise, but was unaware until I set it up. Unfortunately it was a gift from my children, and I didn't get time to set it up.

Not only is the item of poor quality (horrible resolution), it is defective (freezes constantly). Best Buy will not handle the return as it's past 15 days (worst policy of all the major stores)! Told to contact the mfg.

I did and they can only offer me another of the same item, which I don't want because the resolution is so poor. Guess I will NEVER, NEVER shop at Best Buy, nor will I ever buy an Aluratek product.

Not sure how this is Best Buy's problem. Once their return timeframe is up then it is the manufacturer's responsibility. That is why manufacturer's warranties exist.
