I have a service plan for my computers with Best Buy Geek Squad. Occassionally you get some very helpful people there but you also get some that are the complete opposite. This company needs to *** out the people who do inferior work and also hire more competent people to take care of their customers in a timely manner. They cannot keep up with the demand for service. People pay good money for their products and their service plans that they should not have to wait forever for some help. This was my experience tonight. I called about a download speed on my newer computer being half of what it is on a very old one. I asked the level 1 person to have someone call me when I got to level 2 as I wanted them to login to my old computer also and see why my download speeds were different by 30 Mbps. I also know that level 1 doesn't seem to relay all the info that I give to them about my problem to the level 2 tech. After an hour and a half I came back to my computer and noticed that it had been remotely accessed and the tech left this message for me. this is the complete log of this session. "9:52 PM Logon password has been set for unattended reboot. 9:54 PM Transferring session to another technician... 9:54 PM Remote Control by AI Agent Logan M stopped. 11:41 PM Support session established with Agent Laura G.. 11:41 PM Remote Control started by Agent Laura G.. 11:46 PM Agent Laura G.: Sindi, are you near the computer? 11:56 PM Agent Laura G.: There are a lot of different reasons as to why computers can have a different download speed. Type of connection (ethernet vs wireless), age of the computer, interference, distance from the router and drivers can all play a role in the internet connection speed. Found an I-phone 5 online for $49.99, was told by customer service would not be charged until picked up, drove to another suburb (40 minutes) to get it, no phone. Store wouldn't be bothered with helping. Next morning, $66.91 deducted from my checking. Called C.S. and was told a manager would help with getting this resolved as an old system had to be access. They left message and Was told only store that had the phone was Albuquerque, could not do "mail to home" but that the store didn't have any (?) as item was discontinued. I was incredulous at the stupidity. Had to call to cancel order to get money back. We'll see if I get my money back. I work in a huge retail company, corporate. Here is what is wrong here....crappy training of customer service, BAD supply chain, systems that don't talk to each other and don't give regular updates...I actually had the C.S. rep get angry with me because she launched into a canned explanation that my current data plan would convert (I hadn't even been assured that I was getting the phone!!!). Amazing this store is still in business. Recently read their online business did well during holiday. I can't imagine how.

Best Buy review in Phoenix, Arizona: Disciplined, considerate, courteous, dogged so not pissed but pleased

Upon entering Best Buy on Camelback Road in Phx I encountered a sales rep. named Aubrianna and asked for help locating a particular item for an Ipad Mini. She looked up the number on the computer and led me to the area where the item was supposed to be. It was not there so she began further research to locate the item, searched the storerooms, consulted other sales reps. and looked in several other parts of the store. Finally after searching for about 20 minutes she called another Best Buy and located the item. Her efforts and the persistent and courteous nature she showed payed off and are greatly appreciated!

This is my first and last time ordering anything from best buy.i purchased 6 cds and here it is 2 weeks later and im still waiting. i wish i knew about the customer service problems before i ordered.customer service was no help at all. i was told it will be another 2-3 days and my receipt stated this but theres nothing on my receipt that shows this.never again.best buy needs to be more specific about how long it takes to receive items ordered.all customers should read and be aware of their history with shipping problems.being this was my first time ordering from their website ,i will not use their service again.

Rewards program at Best buy is a Joke!

I am a gadget freak! Love the best news gadgets. Well with that comes many purchases of big ticket items. Best buy clams that they reward you for all you purchases you do with them. Wow what a joke!!!! I have bought almost $5000 with them and have yet to get one point earned in that scam they call a rewards program. I have called the '' customer service'' center and all they tell me is they have no record of my purchases. Funny I use there credit card to buy from them and they always have a record in order to send the bill to me. This program is either a scam or is so poorly ran it make the government health care web site look great!!!!!!!

And the first one they had on there. The person complaining had the weblink on here but was taken off. I think that you may work for BB because you diss it in one breath and blame the customer in another. Thats what I notice what BB employees do on here.
