I bought an entertainment center from Best Buy in Irvine, California. They said "it shipped" the next day. Five days later the only thing in their system was a note that the label had been initiated. I checked with UPS; they did not (and still do not) have it in their system. I went to the store to cancel the order with the proof that the product had in fact not shipped and was told there was nothing they could do because it had shipped, even though I had proof in hand that it had NOT shipped. They charged my card on the day of purchase. My only options are 1) refuse the shipment and gamble that they will not lie about the return, or 2) Receive it and haul it back to the store unopened. Obviously, I'm going for option 2. DO NOT PURCHASE PRODUCT FROM BEST BUY UNLESS THEY HAVE IT IN STOCK AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE!

worst experience i have ever had i bought a tv paid it off had a couple late fees paid them and at the very last payment i made i paid on time but it was online i called and they said it takes a couple days for it to process so thats why i was late but they would *** the fee then i checked my account and it said i owe nothing i was so glad to have it paid off then months later i checked how my credit was doing and it said i owed best buy for late fees it said i owed 21 dollers and it went up to 81!! i use to love best buy but i will never ever shop here again!

I called the Best Buy and they told me they would price match. I went to the cashier with a modem and print out of internet modem price and he told me it was not good enough. Six months ago I bought my 65 inch TV and stand from this location. Never shopping there again. The cashier did not call over a manager and looked clueless and lost a good customer. I will buy the modem off the internet save the money and will never use this store again. This is what happens when young dumb cashiers try and handle issues. I was wonder why there were very few customers in the store.

This company does NOT care that their delivery service is destroying their customer relations. Customer service doesn't care, Customer server management doesn't want to deal with any type of issue resolution or followup.

A very sad state for a once respectable, reliable company. I hope some BBY EVP wakes up and becomes a change agent.

Worst Customer Service Ever- Has Owed Me $600 for over 6 weeks | Best Buy review from Louisville, Kentucky

I recently purchased a washer and dryer from Best Buy. Washer was in stock, dryer wasn't. I received the washer and after a failed delivery attempt and NO CALL FROM Best Buy to reschedule for 2 weeks, I cancelled the dryer order. I was told the money would be refunded and received a notice from Best Buy stating my money would be refunded. It has been six weeks since I was told the money would be refunded and nothing. I called Customer Service and was told they refunded my money to the bank and the bank had not accepted it. So I called my bank and they stated that was not the case. So I call Best Buy customer service again and they said that I had not been refunded and that the store had to do inventory to make sure the dryer was there. I received a voicemail back stating the store has my dryer and should be issuing me a refund. Over 24 hrs later and no refund, no call from the store, no nothing. I call the store and finally for the first time ever got some one on the phone and after 15 minutes with no resolution I was "accidentally" hung up on. So I call back and am on hold for 10 minutes and am told they are too busy to work on my return. Best Buy is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Almost pushes me over the postal edge. So still, no resolution. I will NEVER purchase anything from BB ever again.

Had a horrible 1-year nightmare with a Samsung refrigerator. The ice maker was a lemon. After four visits from Geek Squad, found out Samsung doesn't recognize their service, so had Samsung out to "fix it" three or four times. Finally, Samsung admitted it was a lemon and let us exchange it for another one. The delivery guy broke our copper tubing when he installed the thing. He apologized and wrote a note that someone would be out to fix it. He said they wouldn't charge us. WRONG. Our Best Buy (1400 Denver West Blvd Lakewood, CO 80401) said they'd have to charge us to fix it. Charge us? Talked to at least six people at Best Buy. They refused to come out or totally ignored our phone calls. I paid a plumber $100 to come fix it after doing without filtered water and ice for two weeks.

All I can say is I will be glad when Amazon shuts the doors of Best Buy. They aren't competitive. They have lousy sales people who know nothing about good customer service. I went in today to Best Buy to attempt to return printer ink that did not work in my printer. The first customer service associate said we don't return ink. I said well it didn't work. She then goes over to another associate and they both high five each other. They both return showing me the highlighted section of a document that says you cannot return printer ink. I called for a manager. He looks at me crazy. No suggestive selling. Nothing. Can't return the ink. So he ask me can we recycle the ink. I'm like boiling at this point. I just threw the ink in the trash. I never will buy nothing from Best Buy in life. And really don't need to.

Did you ever think to check the ink type or number before you purchase blindly? No retailer including amazon takes returns on open ink.

You just sound like another crybaby customer who is too dense to read the package. ***!

I called the store in West Mifflin, PA last night and asked if they had Toshiba Laptops the person said they did and gave me a range in price. I called again this morning and was told the same thing by another associate. I went there this afternoon and did not see any Toshiba Laptops so I asked if they carried them and the associate that offered to help me said "we don't carry them anymore." and literally walked away from us not even trying to steer us to something else. I WILL NEVER EVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

Bosch Washer Dryer Fail | Best Buy review from Rockville, Maryland

Tried to purchase a Bosch washer & dryer here. Third rescheduled delivery was supposed to be for Aug 25th. Got a call on the 23rd saying it'd be pushed to Sept 12th! After delivery was rescheduled FOUR times, I called to cancel the order. Each time they gave a different reason for why the delivery was delayed from the washer being out of stock, next the stacking kit, next the dryer.... ugh. Zero confidence it would be delivered on the fourth try.... something about insanity and expectations. Upon canceling the order they tried to refund half my purchase to a gift card! Are you *** kidding me?!? Needless to say, I've lost all confidence in their ability to follow through, and I will not be making any large purchases here. Sure, their installation/haul away prices are low, but it doesn't make up for the amount of time and money wasted. Guess I'll be visiting Sears tomorrow and the laundry mat for a few more weeks.
