I bought a 40" TV from Best Buy. Set it up and found that the screen was broken and didnt turn on. I returned and they refused to give me a refund or exvhange. Since the box wasn"t damage then I had to be the one who damaged it. They put it in my car and i had someone help me take it out and set it up. There is no possibility that I vould have damaged it. I took out a Best Buy credit card and now I have to pay for a TV that I never got to watch even once. Never shopping there again. Horrible customer service.

Bestbuy is irresponsible ! There was a labor day sale 20percent off open box appliances, I looked for several days,nine stores looking for open- box refrigerators I found one it had unnoticeable dent on left side door you can't even notice them at all I found the perfect one LG a 1399.00 fridge for 858.00 with tax I was so happy in 5 days it would be in my home., that deliver day I left someone home for the delivery after work I was so excited to see the fridge after 5 days of waiting I walked in the kitchen and almost cryed it had a 6inch deep scratch in the middle of the right side door tire tracks on the bottom of the right door and the water dispenser tray had several scratchs on it, I was and horrified I thought maybe there gave me the wrong refrigerator but I looked for the dents on the left side and said this is it this is my beautiful fridge, I did all that looking for, I called consumer service I was told someone will call me back no call that day, I called the next day got the run around on the phone told this story to about 5 different people until someone finally told me that someone tried to call me to give me a 100dollar gift card? I replied I want the refrigerator door fixed they said call the store after a hour of being on the phone tell this story being transferred from person to person now I have to call the store to tell this story again. a lady answered she looked the order number up and said she would call me back she had to do some research on the fridge, she called back and offended to that same 100dollar gift card ,told me the manager will change the fridge for a new one but I have to pay the differences in cost the fridge is 1399.00 dollars I paid 858.00 I can't afford to pay another Penney! or I could get another open box for the same price HOW is that going to happen at the time every it was labor day sale and every open box appliance was an additional 20 percent off I will never find another refrigerator at 800 dollars at regular open box prices what should I do.

Just a customer. | Best Buy review from Bronx, New York

I was told that my refrigerator will be deliver to my house between 11-3pm. I took one day off from work to wait for the delivery. 3 pm passed, I called and called and finally at 4:30 I spoke with a very pleasant young lady.She told me that they will not make it today. There is a delay. I was so angry I started to shake and cry. why can they call me and tell me that they cancel my delivery? Is that too much to ask ? Why did they enter my phone # in every page. And not calling. Where is the courtesy.? The point I am making is they should have call me and let me know a head that they cancel my delivery. I wasted my whole day for nothing. I truly feel that best buy and their geek squad do not give a *** for any customer. They just want your money. Once they get yourmoney they wouldn't care if You Get your appliance or not. The worst part is , no one from either best buy or the delivery team call me and apologize . For this reason, I promise myself never to buy or stop by best buy ever again. Sue

This 4k blu ray player is the best in the market, but buying one from best buy will be your worst experience. I am what best buy calls an ELITE PLUS customer, a title that is worthless if you don't gent the quality of customer satisfaction that (the best customers) are supposed to receive. In less than 24 hours i have spoken to 6 different customer service agents , 3 yesterday and 3 today, with that almost 3 hours or more of talking on the phone time, = (wasting time) and still the problem has not been corrected. In the past seven days ,7 different employees have not been able to correct something so simple as a correct shipping address , so it is associated with my billing address. This Panasonic 4k blu ray player is by far the best in the market, by all means buy it, just do yourself a favor DONT BUY IT FROM BEST BUY

Best Buy won't refund for damaged TV

I've been trying to get my money back for an item purchased at BestBuy.com. I've made several attempts and calls to get my money back on a TV and it's been almost 2 months since purchase. I ordered a 50" TV and it was delivered damaged. I Called Customer Service on the day of delivery to report the damage. They instructed that I had 2 options: 1) Have a replacement sent out or 2) Return it to my local store to get a replacement. I chose to return the TV to my local store to avoid the potential of another damaged TV being sent to me. However, when I got to the store 2 days later I was told that the store does not accept damaged TV's that were ordered from BestBuy.com. I was there for 3 hours while the manager called Customer Service to find out why they sent me to the store with a damaged TV. I also learned 2 valuable pieces of information: 1) BestBuy.com and Best Buy the store are 2 separate entities, and the store is not obligated to follow BestBuy.com policies and 2) Each store manager can refuse to accept a returned TV, but they are not obligated to refuse. Each store manager has the option to accept a BestBuy.com TV return if they choose to. So, the store manager I dealt with just didn't want the hassle of my return, and could have accepted the TV and provided my replacement, if they chose to. In fact, they didn't even have my exact model in stock, so I was willing to upgrade to the model they did have and would have gladly paid the difference in price. But alas, I was sent away. The Manager scheduled the pick up of the damaged TV, and I drove the item back home. Two days later UPS picked up the TV. 3 days later I received the replacement TV. I asked the UPS delivery person to stand there and watch while I opened the TV box, which he graciously did. The replacement TV was also damaged and I asked him to please note that the TV was indeed damaged in case of any future dispute. I called Best Buy Customer Service and reported the damage to the 2nd TV. Interestingly, it's at this point when all the issues BEGAN. I've had to call to get Best Buy to issue a pick up notice to UPS, twice. I've called 3 times since Best Buy received the damaged TV in to their warehouse. I've called 3 different offices today alone, just to get someone to send me proof that my refund in in fact, being processed. As of this moment, I'm on hold with the 4th department I've been transferred to to discuss this issue. Customer Service, Customer Complaints at Headquarters, Primary Support Department, and Post Purchase Support Department have all told me the same thing: the refund will be processed within 7 to 10 business days, yet no one can get me tangible evidence that a refund is actually being processed. And, every single time I call I'm told that either my issue was sent to the wrong department or that the requests haven't been sent at all. I need my money back, please.

Best Buy - Camera Review from Auburn, Alabama

NEVER NEVER NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM... I spent more than 1k on a camera which quit operating in the middle of my vacation. Ordered it online and it actually did arrive at the promised time but that was the end of good news. Had full receipt tried to return the camera and was told unless i had special priv i could only return in 14 days. Unbelieveable 14 days for a 1k+ camera. I sometimes feel bad for companies that are losing business to online retailers... Not with this company....when they close their doors (and it WILL be sooner rather than later i will dance a happy dance because they deserve it! That will be a Best GOODBye!!!
