I was to receive a Best Buy gift card for $400. It was cloned and was BB refuses to refund me anything that was spend by the fraudster after the post office delivered the card to my door- in Virginia. Even though the fraudulent purchases were made before and after delivery to me from a store in Georgia. Card was delivered to me at 1:30pm and purchases were made hundreds of miles away at 2:30 and they refused to acknowledge that it would have been impossible for that to happen and that their poor internal controls allow for this to happen. They will never acknowledge the issue publicly because no personal identifying information (PII) was compromised. But their customers suffer. Well.... Make that a former customer now.

Unfortunately that is how it is I only use their card when I know it is interest free for X months - I have never paid a dime in interest because I always paid it off before the Promotion expires. Good luck possibly open a balance transfer option with another card.

Discover had 0% for 18 months no balance transfer fee.

Even if they charge you 3 or 5 % fee you get that extra time to pay it off. And the fee will be less than the accumulated monthly interest.

Reducing their rediculous high interest that they are charging. My minimum payment is 48.00, so even if I pay the minimum are more, it doesn't make a difference because when they add the $149.22 interest, my bill is higher then it was before

Definitely not all Best Buys. I can personally say I have refused to sell to customers who seem like they're being scammed until they call the police.

I had same they delivered and took out of box and removed packing before they put in truck. warning on manufactures paper said do not remove packing until delivered.

Now it has to be serviced and they use a third party rude. lied more than once about info they had put down I will not be buying from best buy again

Best Buy // Worst Customer experience

Worst experience ever with Best Buy. Bought a washer and dryer, first purchase from them, and was supposed to receive a gift certificate of $200.00 Haven’t received an email from them and I reached out to them. Purchase was made in July. I called them 4 times, some of the phone calls were an hour long. Someone got the same member ID as us and was making purchases with our member ID and used our $200.00 certificate. They said they have to investigate and they will reissue the certificate within 3-5 business days. It’s been over a MONTH and still not resolved. I asked to talk to a manager and they refused to give me someone that I could talk to that was higher up that could do something about this. Nothing has been resolved. I also asked them to email me with an update and the refuse to that as well. They told me I should call back if it’s not issued within 3-5 business days. And that is what I have been doing and NOTHING. They also have no idea how someone could get a hold of the same Member ID. I asked them for a new member ID and they said I have to go to the store and apply for a new one. Really? You guys make it so difficult for your customers. Never will I EVER buy from Best Buy again.

Most likely someone at the BB you shopped at saw your purchase and the $200 credit to your member number and just used that number in making a purchase(es). Employee theft is common at most business and using your info to get a free $200 was easy to do and without consequences.

Best Buy hasn't the greatest customer service in the best of times. Best to buy your appliances from Lowe's anyway.

I will NEVER SHOP AT BEST BUY AGAIN!!! Their salesman pushed the apple music card on us for $99 unlimited music for 12 months. What he FAILED to tell us is that we needed to load this on to the apple music and NOT itunes. The card tapped out at $99 on the first day of use and did not give us unlimited music like he told us. Best Buy told us that it was our fault, "user error". They refused to resolve the problem. They did not treat us at all like a "customer" but rather an *** for not knowing how to use the new apple music card. PEACE OUT BEST BUY!!!

I bought a lot of my things here, and I loved Best buy. It is my anniversary tomorrow and I order a phone for my boyfriend 2 weeks ago, just to make sure it arrives on time. The first phone which arrived was working for 1 hour and died. I returned it to store, wanted to buy the replacement they told me to order it online. Second phone arrived today seal was broken and piece of charger missing from the box. I called customer service and they were really polite, but absolutely did not care about understanding the customer. First of all there was no discount offered at all (as a part of apology by customer service) I asked to talk to the manager and he/she did not want to come to the phone. The representative kept apologizing (it was not the guys fault anyway) and he was really polite, but his hands were tied, and even when I said please tell the manager they will lose the customer and they destroyed my anniversary, there must be some kind of policy for all this mess.. nothing. Not only that you are uncool, but you are really unprofessional. Just a small comparison, Amazon was 1 day late with the delivery (not 14 days, 1 day!) and they gave me 50% discount for being a loyal customer.

I was sold a hard drive that had been out on display for sometime. The CPU Fan went out and it got to the point where it would not come on. I called the store and they said since I didn't buy an extended warranty I was out of luck. Their warranties are too expensive but now I know to buy one in the future but I still wouldn't buy from them ever again! It only lasted 3 months and best buy refused to make good and return $ or give me another one at reduced price. I will never shop there again. Don't waste your time buying any computer products from them.
