Probably should blame your husband for this mishap, if you had not acted like a two year old and should have the card it would have been a lot easier for you to return the gift card. Most stores won't refund gift cards in fact Best Buy typically doesn't return gift cards look at their terms and conditions. Seriously own up to the situation as you created it or your husband rather..

Ordered camera battery online (and cringed doing it; it just doesn't go well with Best Buy online). The box arrived damaged, broken open, with no battery inside. Perhaps it shipped empty, or someone stole it. It was one of those folded-bottom boxes you can just press open. A week of phone tag between UPS and Best Buy, with the usual dealing with phone reps. They just wouldn't understand that I had an empty box, and couldn't return the battery. They finally said I have to go to the store; avoiding that was the whole point of ordering online. Ate it, won't order online from Best Buy again.

My wife and went looking for a new tv. After taking to the salesman he educated me on the new Sony Bravia 65". One of the features that sounded good to me was the live 3D tv feature. I got it home and was impressed by the 3D movies but did not know how to get it to do 3D live. I went back to the store and talked to the same salesman about this feature and he did some research to find out that it did not have this feature. The store apologized and said they could not give me a return. There customer service is sub-par. We also shopped for a new laptop and after talking to another salesman he steered us in the direction of and HP computer. After we decided to buy the computer he said that they did not have any laptops in stock. Frustrated i asked why he would try to sell us a computer that they do not even have. He blamed the corporate store and said that they decide how much inventory they are allowed to have and that they just received an inventory truck the day before but they did not get any laptops with the order. They told me that it would be a waste of my time to complain to corporate. I hate this store and will not go back!

Would not except any of my 2 debit cards or credit card. Each time said security code (back of card) was invalid. The system, finally let me get the order through by using paypal, only to receive an email saying the order had been cancelled. I went to another site and ordered the item. Next day rec'd email saying item had been shipped. Now what am I going to do with 2 guitars. Most screwed up system I have ever encountered. When received will MAY return to sender. Hopefully I will get my money back???or take it to a store. I will never shop with them again online or in a store. C.S. was hateful and not helpful when I contacted them.

I bought a Lenovo edge 2 computer in April on a real good deal. Original price was $900 on sale for $650. In Sept it had a battery issue and was returned to Lenovo from Best Buy. Now told it cannot be fixed and discontinued. Best Buy ordered one from another store and it would take a week to get it. I was good with that. Now they say they don't have one. They will not give me my money back. Only an in store gift card. I want a like computer but they will not do that without me paying the difference in price. I either want a like computer for what I paid or my money back so I can go elsewhere. Getting the royal run-around.

I ordered an oven from Best Buy last month and I will never order another appliance from them again. The day of delivery I waited at home but no one arrived or called to give me an update during the delivery window. I had to call best Buy Customer Service and wait on hold till they could contact the distributor. I was informed that they were running an hour and a half behind schedule. Two hours later while out picking up my children from school I received a call from the delivery men saying "we will be there in 15 minutes and you'd better be ready for us". Needless to say I was furious that I had waited all morning and now they had the nerve to tell me I'd better be ready. The oven was delivered and installed but a few days later when reading the user's manual I realized they did not install the anti-tip bracket on the oven which is required by Federal law for safety reasons. I contacted customer service once again and made an appointment to have the anti-tip bracket installed. Fast forward to the morning of my appointment and I receive a phone call from he technician asking what he is supposed to be doing for me. When I told him I needed the anti-tip bracket installed he told me he doesn't have them and won't be able to take care of it today. I am seriously disappointed in the Best Buy Customer Service experience. ****Update*** After calling customer service and telling them the service professional said he was unable to install the anti-tip bracket I was told someone from the warehouse would contact me by the end of the day to set up another service appointment. A week later I still hadn't received a phone call and called Best Buy again. Ater being on hold for 20 min I was told a case manager was assigned to my complaint and she would call me by the end of the day Unfortunately I never heard from her. When I called Best Buy again the next day and waited on hold 15-20 min again I was transferred to someone in the warehouse who told me there was never a case manager assigned to me and that she would assign one and that they should call me within an hour. I am waiting to see what happens and will update later.****

UPDATE: I noticed on my missed call log that the local Green Bay, WI Best Buy attempted to contact me on 10/17. Didn't leave a message or bother to call back.

Isn't that adding insult to injury? Don't they realize that by not leaving a message or calling back it only reinforces my desire to never shop them again? I don't get it! Just a simple "sorry you had a bad experience" on my voice mail would have satisfied me.

This wasn't Best Buy's fault, it was their insurance carrier SEGWICK! I give up!

The customer service reps took 30 minutes to change my address--10 minutes to verify a code which took me less than a minute to receive and give them-- 15 to speak to reps who had delayed responses to everything I said, the other 5 waiting for the operator to decipher my needs. I am not blaming the reps,well not the 2nd one, but the system they are using. It needs a serious upgrade. For a company that prides itself on having the latest technologies this system (customer service) is very behind. Please update!!!

Hot Springs Arkansas Best Buy sold me a Moto X phone. When I bought it i was told how long the warranty was and if I had any issues simply bring the phone back. In 4 months(under warranty) I brought the phone in with touchscreen issues. I was told to go deal with Motorola and that they dont do warranty issues for that phone. I would have not bought the phone had I known they would not support it. Deceptive and ileagal practice. But with no proof they get away with it. Nice job Bust Buy,,you just ripped off a Viet Nam veteran that hasnt been able to work due to cancer. Feel good about that money you made?

Seems to be a new scam by Best Buy. Leave the really good deals on computers online forever, even though sold out. Perhaps we'll just buy the next thing since we can't get the great deal. Seems intentional to me that the best computer deals show in a list but click on it and sold out online and no store info available. I am serious. I just spent a few hours and every really great deal turn out to be "sold out" online and no store info available. One local store also did not have the sale items on display but if you asked they could show you the info and provide the product.
