Best to order computers directly from the manufacturer if at all possible if you wish to do so online and have sent to you. Now you know. I expect you will eventually receive the machine, tho.

Extremely Dissatisfied Customer | Best Buy review

I've been shopping at Best Buy for many years and recently I am at a point where I will never shop there again. I realize that the reason I feel like no one cares, is because they dont. They say they do, but they dont. I am told I will be called back and never am I called back. I have stayed home 5 times now to receive my washer and dryer and every time either they dont show up without any notification, they show up late and cant finish the install because the salesman didnt confirm what was needed, they show up without the part that is needed to fix the brand new washer I bought and now the day they are supposed to show to remove the appliances from premises because I am returning them, they dont show up again and no call. No call, no nothing I have to call every time only to get told they are so sorry. Its a bunch of BS. Best Buy does not give a *** about there customers. Maybe if I was Joe Montana or some rich person I might get some attention. It is so frustrating and my hands are tied. You wont credit me for the garbage appliance I received and you wont come and pick them up because of every excuse in the book. It is ridiculous what I have gone through with this situation. Honestly, I feel like I need to go see a doctor for anxiety because of this. If there is someone who does really care, they can call me at 650-228-6325

You were not hacked by BB. You did not mention if the PC had any type of firewall or VirusChecker/Mallware software on it.

Did you scan it before putting it on your network and using it?

I would immediately fire the supposed 'IT Professional' that put an unsecured PC on the network. That is unacceptable.

There are two possibilities...

1. The person who had the PC before you either purposely put mallware on it, or, it got on there by what he did.

2. No firewall or Anti-Virus software...

well, there you go! You may as well leave a key to your door tied on a string of the doorknob!

You went cheap & took shortcuts. I really don't understand why you had to replace your hard drives.

A simply solution would be to restore all your systems from your backups - Oh wait! Tell me you had current backups.

Showed up Saturday at 1005 and was told I need an appointment to drop off, news to me and not notified of the need to do so. Set appointment for 1020, tech talked to lead guy then said 1040. Best Buy Misleading Advertising / Availability

Last week, on black Friday, I visited the Best Buy location in Grapevine, Tx to purchase an HP Laptop which was listed in their ad for $349 (reg price $499). I looked at the laptop in the store, and told the salesperson that I would like to purchase it. The salesperson said that, although their inventory system showed that the store I was in has 5 units, he could no locate any. I asked him to locate the laptop in another store. He said that their system shows that the Hurst, Tx location has "several" in the store. I drove to Hurst, Tx to purchase the laptop. The salesperson there said that they had none. I went home to order the laptop online. The bestbuy.com website showed that the laptop was sold out. So, I figured, it I was out of luck - I missed out on a decent deal. Well, a few days later, I checked the web site, and the laptop was now available again. Unfortunately, the price was back to the regular price of $499. It seems to me that Best Buy purposely limited the number of those laptops available at the sale price. Then, once the sale expired, they made the rest of the inventory available. In fact, there is no sign that ANY were ever sold at the lower sale price. I'm not at all impressed with their sales tactics.

Ordered and iPad online. Paid the extra $12.97 for expedited shipping to arrive Thursday. No iPad on Thursday (or Friday). Online status is "USPS awaiting item". Called customer support. Estimated wait time: 1 hr 45 min! Elected the call back service. Call returned 2 hrs later. After waiting another 5 min, call was disconnected. Called customer support again. Wait time: 2 hrs 30 min! Call was returned 2.5 hrs later. Very frustrating communicating to English as second language rep. He finally refunded the shipping costs, but was completely unable to shed any light on the shipping status or whereabouts of the item. Said I would have to call back yet again tomorrow to "definitely demonstrate" that I haven't received it. Then they will re-ship. Horrible customer service and supporting systems - if you can find your item on Amazon or eBay, you'll have a much better experience.

Got scammed by the salesman at Best Buy, Sherbrooke (QC). The guy told me I would get a discount if I took one month of their GeekSquad protection plan. Now I want to cancel the protection and the customer representative tells me I can't cancel before 6 months of protection. I didn't sign anything and wasn't told that. Very pissed and want to go to OPC.

Best Buy - Geek Squad Home Theater System Installation Review

I purchased 2 home theater systems, installation on the two theater systems, and added the installation of 5 TVs. This was scheduled 12 days out and the evening prior to the install I was left a voice mail that they could only install 2 TVs because I didn't pay for the other three TVs. Furthermore, once the Greek Squad arrived they informed my wife that we didn't pay for installing the home theater systems either, they would not hook the speakers up. When my wife became frustrated with the news because she was holding a receipt with about $600 worth of installation service fees paid in the store, the two Geek Squad empliyees went out to the truck to make a phone call and just drove off. No installation, nor did they deliver the merchandise we purchased. I even went to the Hot Springs store and was willing to pay whatever additional cost needed to make the scheduled install date. They only informed me they didn't have time and they had other customers, as if I wasn't a customer. I am now sitting in the store since 8 pm and its 917 and the store is now closed trying to get a refund - Buyer Beware. If you schedule installation by the Geek Squad and an incompetent employee rings up tbe install- I promise you the results will be incomprehensible.
