Best Buy - No delivery, no phone call, horrible customer service

I purchased a dishwasher in a Best Buy store on November 26. It was scheduled to be delivered and installed on December 6 between 8 and 12. When nobody had showed up or called after 2:00, I called the store. After getting a bit of a runaround, I was informed that the order had been cancelled, but I had received no call, and no reason was given for the cancellation. He said the earliest they could be here was a week from today. I explained to the person on the phone that this was unacceptable, and he offered to give me the $30 hoses for free. I said that was ridiculous after making me wait for six hours, and stated that I wanted the installation charge to be waived. I was referred to the corporate office, who said they couldn't make that decision and referred me back to the store, where the "manager" said they "couldn't waive the installation charge." When I explained that it wasn't that they "couldn't," but that they "wouldn't," he just kept making excuses and wouldn't simply cancel the order and process the refund. I paid for this item two weeks ago, so I called the credit card company and filed a dispute, explaining that I had not received the item that was promised today. I will never step foot in a Best Buy store again.

BestBuy contacted me, and offered me a free screen protector, which they installed. Also they offered me an iPhone 6s case of my choice (up to $50 value), which was just delivered in the mail.

Not going to buy as Best Buy again

Ordered a computer open box which they assured me would be checked and certified by the Geek Squad on Black Friday. Computer arrived the next day -- open box, unsealed and missing the ac adapter power cord wih no printed receipt. Called Best Buy and they told me to take it back to the nearest Best Buy and they would send a replacement. Did that. Good thing I had the order number because there was no receipt. Replacement came 8 days later, certified by the Geek Squad with an ac adaptor cord. I was so happy until I unsealed the box and tried to set it up. The touch pad didn't work so I used my old mouse which made it work. Had to seal up the computer and take it back again to Best Buy - a 45 minute ride away. When I told the associate, she asked me if I wanted a replacement. I said "No thank you."

They scheduled a date to install 65" TV. They didn't show up at scheduled time. We finally called them and were told they were behind schedule. We waited...called them again and were told "oh your appt was cancelled. Again no phone call from them. (I'm disabled so my daughter took off work to be here) Wasted 4 hours! They rescheduled for this morning 8 to 10am. My son in law waited with me.....at 10am he called....it was not scheduled at all. Wasted morning for son in law and he has to work the late shift. Spend over $5000 and cancelled everything! Very poor!

Terrible service | Best Buy review

On November 23, 2016, we purchased a Whirlpool Gas dryer online paying an extra fee for delivery and installation. We bought it at Best Buy online store because they promised delivery and installation on November 28, which was reasonable. November 28, we waited all day and when no one came or called I called Best Buy and was told that the delivery was pushed to December 2nd. On December 2nd, I called the delivery company, XPO Logistics directly to confirm the delivery with the installer. I was then told that it had been pushed to December 8th. And when I called on the 7th to confirm for the 8th, they told me it would be on the 14th!!! I got really angry and cancelled the order. That same day (December 7th) I ordered the same Whirlpool dryer at the P.C. Richards web store and I got it delivered and installed today, which is December 9th! Purchased and delivered and installed in 2 days from PC Richards. Terrible service at Best Buy!

Went to best buy to purchase an item but they did not have it. I was with my daughter and a family member, but got separated from the family member who was looking to purchase an item. I walked out the store with my daughter to see if the family member was at their car, but the wasn't . So we walked in the store and the security guard was talking to two associate and gonna say to me can I help and gonna say to the other staff if they know us and if we want anything. I was so embarrassed. I didn't know if you walk out a store and walk back in it was a problem. Not going to bestbuy anymore. Not happy

I placed an order for iphone watch for my daughter they took my 500.00 and said its back ordered but you will receive by dec 6 i didn't and got emails saying they did not know when they would get it so i called spoke with Derek merced store manager he never apologized and told me it was my fault told him your being rude he said i am just telling you the truth i was upset with him i was shaking i will never do business with best buy and will tell everyone just because of your *** manager you lost alot he is no manager he is an *** done good by Derek you are tertible at customer service

I have Two complaints about Best Buy. 1) I put my printer in my truck and hauled it up to Best Buy; it is a large printer and required my to load into a cart to get it into the store. I'm 65 and have back issues but got it into the store, stood in line for 15 minutes, got to the counter only to have a rude young man asked me if I had an appointment. I turned around and walked out. 2) I purchased 10k worth of TV sets from BB and had them all mounted a few months ago. I dropped the remote and broke it today; I called BB, an agent answered the phone, transferred me to customer service, customer service person hung up accidentally, never called me back. I called again got another customer service person. I told her that I needed a Harmony 650 universal remote and someone to come program it. She suggested a few illogical suggestions, one was for me to come Buy the remote at the store and then schedule a tech to come out. I suggested that they just send the remote with the technician, problem solved. She was polite but completely befuddled and had no clue. She was about transfer me to someone else, when I got frustrated and hung up. I called another company and they'll be out with the remote tomorrow to program, problem solved! There was a time when the customer was always right but this company could care less about customer service. Their too big, too involved in the politics of big business and are becoming a non business. It's just a matter of time for this company and other companies like them who have forgotten that the customer is bigger than they are. That time won't come too soon!

Best to order computers directly from the manufacturer if at all possible if you wish to do so online and have sent to you. Now you know. I expect you will eventually receive the machine, tho.

Extremely Dissatisfied Customer | Best Buy review

I've been shopping at Best Buy for many years and recently I am at a point where I will never shop there again. I realize that the reason I feel like no one cares, is because they dont. They say they do, but they dont. I am told I will be called back and never am I called back. I have stayed home 5 times now to receive my washer and dryer and every time either they dont show up without any notification, they show up late and cant finish the install because the salesman didnt confirm what was needed, they show up without the part that is needed to fix the brand new washer I bought and now the day they are supposed to show to remove the appliances from premises because I am returning them, they dont show up again and no call. No call, no nothing I have to call every time only to get told they are so sorry. Its a bunch of BS. Best Buy does not give a *** about there customers. Maybe if I was Joe Montana or some rich person I might get some attention. It is so frustrating and my hands are tied. You wont credit me for the garbage appliance I received and you wont come and pick them up because of every excuse in the book. It is ridiculous what I have gone through with this situation. Honestly, I feel like I need to go see a doctor for anxiety because of this. If there is someone who does really care, they can call me at 650-228-6325
