Don’t shop at their store
I buy a laptop paid in cash and ended up return. At return they said they can refund that amount so there u already know how scandelous it can be already!
Afraid to get rob to have a few thousands at store for returns? They can take in that much but can split out that much. A multi million dollars public store with many reps afraid of being rob? No its their excuse.
I Happen to loose my receipt called sales store and no recorded under my name of a refund check. I straight got rob! It tells me Best Buy dont have record of anything or is organized at all.
I have to really think twice before I shop at an overprice store that is on thin ice of bankruptcy cause I cant explain such moral of business they use! Follow is demand letter for arbitration and subpoena of evidence will prove my statement is true!

COMPLETE FAILURE IN CREDIBILITY / TRYING TO STEAL MY WASHER AND DRYER
Due to a mega malfunction in customer service, best buy offered me a $200 credit on my charge AND a $200 best buy gift card to go through with my order when I tried to cancel it.
I bought a new samsung washer and dryer but was delivered only a washer. Customer service told me their records only showed a washer purchase, even though I had a receipt.
Then they changed their story to say I must have taken dryer with me.
After almost 50 hours and 10 days on the phone, they said it was improperly coded and would be delivering it in two days. I told them to cancel the order, come pick up their washer and I would go buy elsewhere. I was offered a $200 credit AND a $200 best buy gift card to go through with the order and accept delivery, I finally agreed. I called back to best buy because of a problem with delivery and asked about my refund/credit and gift card.
I was told I shouldn't have been offered both and that I could have one or the other, but not both.
I really got upset about this and told them to just come get the two appliances and bring my old washer dryer back. I was told NO, YOU CANT HAVE YOUR OLD APPLIANCES, THEY ARE GONE AND THAT THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT.
I asked for a supervisor, nine was available.
I asked to have one contact me as soon as possible. STILL NO WORD FROM BEST BUY!!!
IM A 64 YEAR OLD DISABLED RETIREE AND CANT CONTINUE MAKING TRIPS TO LAUNDROMAT, PLEASE HELP ME BY LIVING UP TO YOUR WORD AND NOT STEALING MY ORIGINAL APPLIANCES!!

Preferred solution: Was calling to speak with someone about lowering my interest rate - it is currently at 26.74%. They could care less and it shows. I guess Customer Service is no longer of any importance. smh

OMG! You guys, please beware of Best Buy Promotion asking you at the cash register if you want the 24-month Free Interest Rate promotion.
It's a complete sham! Here's what happened to me. I purchased a TV, refrigerator and a security system with flood lights. I had three different 24 Month Free Interest promotions.
I don't get paper bills or emails from Best Buy.
I only get my payments on my online banking. I received no emails or mail regarding the promotions ending. I only had $804 to pay it off and called Best Buy directly and they told me because I didn't pay off the promotion at the time it was supposed to be paid off, they now charged me $11,500! That's right, I only owed $804 and didn't know my Promotion was up and they decided to defer all the interest and charge me $11,500.
I am beyond devastated...
I don't work, I take care of my two elderly parents, and I'm losing sleep over this. Especially with the lousy economy and high gas prices, this is not what I needed.
I spoke to several Supervisors, one of which said, she was sorry but the problem was that the cashiers or customer service folks at Best Buy don't understand enough about the deferred interest nor do they tell the customer when you are at the cash register.
That's a big problem, because you are totally screwed if you don't pay the promotion off on time. That's how they get you!

And forwarded a claim of the "renewal" of an expensive Geek Squad virus protection plan to me. I forwarded the msg I received to Geek Squad virus protection plan which I did not authorize. No answer.
User's recommendation: Don't deal with Geek Squad if you expect them to help you out of any kind of trouble like this.
I have received no response whatsoever to my query.
User's recommendation: Do not count on Geek Squad to help you if someone is trying to cheat you in their name.

So I was given a gift for employee appreciation day and I choose Jlab headphones. They were not Noise-cancelling therefore I could not use them at work. I returned them at the store and I chose a blendjet2 and paid the difference.
I receive the same blender for mother's day, so brought the one I paid the difference for back. The associate was supposed to give me the credit back and also the rest in store credit. She said don't worry I added it to the card we had for you on file, you should get that back in 5-7 business days. Only to findout she refunded my gift back to my employer, when in fact that was a gift and I should've got this back too.
Spoke to a manager at your Tampa location and she was super rude and they wouldn't fix it. Said nothing they can do. Told the same thing by customer support. So now I can't get my gift credit back and to add insult to injury the blendjet I got for mother's day was stolen at work.
So this was overall a terrible experience and I was left with nothing. Response..Thank you for getting back to me with this information. While I wish I could provide a different answer than what it sounds like you were provided at your local store, please know any returns processed at our stores would go back to the original form of payment, which in this case appears to be your employer. If you haven't done so yet, I recommend working with your employer to explore what options may be available.

Just called corporate# again and now I'm being told after I provided the order# that the rep couldn't even find, that I cant be helped because the phone number doesnt match after she already verified it did.
Best Buy you're customer service is less than one star. I will NEVER BUY anything from you again and I filed a complaint with my employer who bought me this gift and said they were sorry and will use someone else for the next employee appreciation day because this is not the fitst complaint they received about the gifts through Best Buy!
