On the day of the release of the samsung galaxy S6 I decided to purchase my phone from best buy as their website stated i would receive a wireless charger free a $59 value. Well when I purchased my phone I was informed that the promotion was for pre-purchase customers only. However by monitoring their website the wireless charger promotion was still present days after my purchase and for my network at&t the website was specific in stating that the phone was only available for in store purchase. I went to best buy and spoke to an employee who again told me the promotion was only available for pre-purchase customers only. I challanged the employee to show me where that was stated on the website. I wasn't there. I spoke to a supervisor who was no help. Finally I requested to speak to a manager who listened to me checked the website and assured me he would contact me within 2 days. The next day i received a phone call from best buy to inform me my wireless charger was waiting for me at the store. My outcome was favorable finally however it shouldn't have been so hard.

I went to best buy to purchase a tablet. After waiting for almost 45minutes someone decided to assist me. The individual clearly did not know the products they were selling and didn't even know what they had in stock. After purchasing the tablet I decided to get a bigger tablet. The next day I arrive at the store when they first open hoping to receive better customer service. After waiting 30 minutes to see a new tablet I decided to look for a manager. Surprisingly all the managers were in the front of the store laughing and goofing off. Apparently, they were offended that I interrupted there non work related conversation. The manager told me that it should be someone in the area to assist me. After walking around they finally found someone to assist me. Apparently he was upset that we interrupted his texting. My problem is that I counted 25 employees on the floor of the store walking around. No one was assisting or trying to get a sale. The store in Newport News, VA clearly doesn't know what customer service is. Management and employees really need basic training. I try to avoid this store at all cost. Best buy corporate really needs to go and investigate issues with store. Employees are rude, unfriendly and getting paid not to do there job.

samsung galaxy 5s--had battery issues--would heat up, drain really quickly, and then not take a charge. Went into local BB (nice people who work there), they told me that b/c it was under warranty, I would get a new phone, but would have to send it back. BB sent me a box to send the phone back to where ever they do the repairs. This box had just a sticker in it, so I included the receipt I got from initiating the service. Got it back today--it is a refurbished phone (b/c I have their *** protection plan) and had NO battery. I was told by the store when I called just now that I was supposed to keep my battery--but gee, that was the source of the problem. Now it will take another 3-4 business days to get a battery (today is Friday, so many more days sans phone), and that was only after pushing hard to get expedited shipping. No apologies on the phone for this. I am disgusted. Do NOT bother with their "protection plan." I will just buy a used phone from eBay next time.

Same problem here. I ordered a stack kit with my washer and dryer and after 2 deliveries they still don't have it here. I also ordered a double oven and they came out to messure the opening to make sure it would fit and then canceled the order without saying anything, but didn't tell the delivery people (who I found out when they were here they don't even work for Best Buy) until they came out to install it only to find out it wouldn't fit. then ordered a new one only but they keep putting off saying it's on back order. Why was it not on back order 6 weeks ago or anytime in between when I ordered it until 3 days before delivery. So they have full payment for all items and they still have the items as well.

Purchased a iBeats ear buds with the $14.99 2 yr replacement Warranty. Now the buds are having an issue cable not working getting static loss of sound. Brought it to Best Buy for what I thought a full replacement but they say I have to pay the difference between the ones I purchased that are no longer made iBeats that I purchased with price match for $79.99 original price was $99.99 had to go with the closest type urBeats that are 99.99 so they made me pay the diff between 27.99 w/tax that's not right.

I spent nearly $1,000 on Sonos (a bridge and 3 speakers) and after installing the software the app shortcut appeared only on my desktop. I asked the Ridgedale help desk how to add the shortcut to my Windows 8 start screen. The answer was that “they offered a Windows 8 class on Thursday and (however) it was filled up”. I consider this a non-answer and a brush-off. I have subsequently found the answer on google and it takes two clicks of the mouse. The service at their help desk has been very disappointing. I also have a $1000 ghost order that has been taken from my checking account without any authorization. I have to wait 3-5 days to get my money back.

I don't know how they can get away with this. I think they are stealing and the police should be involved.
