Complaints and issues with staffing and management and Geeksquad in Puyallup/WA

Hello Mrs. Allison : I brought today my 2 computers today for repair at GeekSqad in Puyallup/WA and they were not busy there and they let me wait and then made me another appointment to be seen later in almost an hour later and I had patients in my clinic and I tried to talk with the manager and her name was Nisha who was rude and she said that she can not help and I told her that I am a physician/first responder and I have patients to attend and she did not care and I told her that a lot of companies during COVID19 times now are helping first responders (like Costco) where we can cross lines and again she did not care or even offer any help or even checked on my appointment time and I called the manager of my clinic who came and is waiting instead of me and she is still waiting and I came to the clinic to attend the sick patients. I would like headquarters and CEO and administrations to know and investigate this incident and the bad treatment the first responders are getting in that store and their employees who also were not trying to help and attend us or even talking or communicating with us and even they did not have in 10 minutes any customers to attend at GeekSquad and they all disappeared inside the room behind the disk and nobody was there except one guy who was cleaning the desks and trying to sanitize and spray the surfaces there in the front desk. I would like the administrator or CEO of best buy to call me to please discuss and investigate that matter further please and check on that store and GeekSquad who we paying them over 200$ annually to help us and support us. I have had Best Buy Geek support for years maybe decades. I have always gotten fast and actuate help till now. I have chatted four times to get one issue fixed. What a joke. You wait on chat sometimes an hour to explain the issue then they transfer you to another agent and wait, wait, wait. I've called even at 6:00 am thinking I would get faster service. Nope. Then get help, and it doesn't work the 3rd chat session. I have the same issue now for over a month. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MEMBERSHIP.

Last nov272020 my iPhone xr red was frozen into logo of apple I called geek squad and told them want happened they said that I need to give 600 plus for deposit and send me a new phone . I'd been honest and told them pandemic now I dont have such amount and representative said ok we have 2nd options u paid 222plus tax and instead waiting for 1 to 3 days now u wait 5 to 7 business day. I said ok I'm willing to wait. So I receive the empty box after 3 days I put my phone red in there. I receive UPS package and I open I saw my phone there I'm expecting that's new phone but because Xmas is coming I'm after to work it when I put my sim card its lock now unlike before my phone is unlock before they Fix it. I called them I said if they gonna fix my phone I thing they ask me reasonable amount not Over Price because I have a point and I'm right they said me a refurbished phone even the red phone still with me . I'm happy coz finally I have a phone before Xmass when I put the sim card again its lock won't recognized my sim and asked for carrier of provider. I call Geek Squad and they said they cnt fix it thru phone after I wait 2hrs wait to there line they asking me to go to best buy brunch I told them my high blood pressure is getting high because of this issue I'd been hospitalized because of stress and I told them I have pre existing condition but because I really need it I went to best buy i bring the red phone and the black refurbish phone i asked them if they call geek squad they did also because they try to fix the black phone refurbish one they sent to me the customer support at best buy as well said they give u a Garbage phone. I call geek squad again they said I need to sent back my original phone and they send me a phone again I keep waiting for nothing I went 2nd time best buy prince Albert Saskatchewan and I asked his help he said dont send the black phone till u get the new one he gave me trucking number I ask him what about the black refurbish phone he told me wait for the package and place back the black phone coz they mark it as defective phone I keep waiting dec16 till dec 27 dont get nothing so I went again to best buy manager he told me keep waiting that's what I did I contact geek squad again they told me I need to send the block one so I send it still I keep waiting till now Jan 19,2021 I dont get my phone. I have 3 iPhone that I paid insurance I'd been loyal to best buy I dont deserve to treat this way they said before u buy the phone they told u no problem in claiming in geek squad they will replace it unit no problem why until now I have problem so Guys think first before buy insurance to this company my name is Annalyn Marabella from Prince Albert Saskatchewan u can contact me 130696****413069****74

Unfair Business Practices, Lying, Cheating, and Don't Care!

I gotta tell ya... Up until 2020, I rarely complained about any businesses.

Lately it seems that these Bigger Corporations that for some reason have completely forgotten who pays their wages, have completely lost their friggin minds! I guess when you get to the point where losing thousands of consumers really has little effect on the bottom line, you can treat people any kind f way and not sweat it.

So, as my TV's all seem to have gone out right around the same time, I chose Best Buy to get new ones... Since their finance company Citi-Bank was offering 24 months same as cash, why not? Seems I may have made a horrible mistake.

It seems that for some reason unbeknownst to even them, my payment date has to be the 28th of each month.

As I am on social security and don't get paid but on the 3rd, I called them to change the date to the 7th.

John, a rep from BB/Citi Bank told me that would be no problem... Told me he would send me an email as such and I did receive one. This was on Jan 25th.

Today, Jan 27, I get an email from them telling me that I owe $29.00 by tomorrow. So I called them to speak to a rep and find they have no records of any conversation, email and are absolutely not interested in changing anything...

So much for the customer always being right!

A complete waste of time speaking to...Refused to consider the proof, my wants or needs and basically told me to GFM!

Is this the way you wish to be treated by those whose paychecks you pay? Clearly, I am not!

Missing delivery and horrible customer service

Hello! On Dec 25, 2020 I purchased the Apple - 11-Inch iPad Pro (Latest Model) with Wi-Fi - 128GB - Space Gray online. The website promised a delivery on Dec 27. After that date came and went, I called customer service and was told that it was delayed and would now be delivered on January 11. After that date came and went, I called again. I was told that this issue would be escalated to a manager and that the item would be shipped out within 72 hours. After that time frame came and went, I called again. I was told that there was an error within the system and that he (the rep) fixed it. And that this would be shipped within 72 hours. Well, it wasn't (again). I called again and was told that this issue "was escalated" and that the item was packaged and ready to ship, but no courier had picked it up yet. And that he was going to send a message to that location to get a courier. WELL, again, nothing happened. I called again and was told that there was nothing they could do and no one I could talk to because it was already in "escalated stage". So I waited a week and called again and was told the exact same thing again. Customer service reps are not willing to help. There is no manager or supervisor available to help, no matter how long I waited on hold. 2 customer service reps hung up on me, 4 of them had me on hold for longer than 30 minutes each time. All of them promised I'd get it within 72 hours and I never did. I can't get to a person who will help me. I paid for this item and it's being held hostage -- I can't cancel it and I can't get it delivered to me. This is fraudulent. If you look this company up online, you'll see thousands of similar complaints. How can this be allowed to happen? Are there laws protecting the consumer? This company should be shut down.

The 2 local stores in my area it says # is disconnected when I call them

I contacted the CORPORATE offices of Best Buy to let them know that all the Best Buys in my cities are NOT WORKING. The woman said they " were working on it" and would be fixed. Well it's been like a MONTH that the numbers don't work. Useless!

I called Best Buy the week of January 10th, 2021 to place a service call on my refrigerator. On that first visit a stove repairman showed up said he didn't work on refrigerators and that I needed to call and reschedule.

The next 4 scheduled visits NOBODY SHOWED UP! I wasted all that time waiting and what makes it worse every time this happens I must call back to Best (Worst) Buy to reschedule another repair visit. Every time I call in I have been on the phone for a minimum of 50 minutes.

The appointment for today was moved to tomorrow 2/16/2021 and nobody told me it was moved until I called this morning. I have talked with at least 15 "agents" from Worst Buy over the last 5 weeks and only 2 of them seemed qualified and concerned, then on later phone calls I find out they gave me bad information.

Best Buy uses A &; E Factory Service out of Texas for extended warranty service on major appliances. The best review I found for this company was a 1 star review (Where 5 is good and 1 is Very Poor). The phone number for A & E is and 1-80*-905-**** and that gets you to someone in the Philippines who can barely speak English, and many there speak it very well. A & E keeps sending out technicians who are not trained or just don't arrive at all. I have wasted 3 days so far waiting for them and several hours on the phone with Best Buy. Do not purchase appliances from Best Buy if you think you may someday need service.

Salesperson/s wonderful, appliance installers wonderful. When I called the 186*-585-**** to ask questions Chanelle was rude, disrespectful and hung up on me. Most companies record phone conversations if this is so, this happened when I called from Calgary AB, Canada at 3:40pm on March 5, 2021. Apparently Chanelle claimed she was in the Toronto ON office, but her credibility is at risk.
