Not returning the laptop | Best Buy review

I purchased a laptop from Delware and they told, I can return/exchange it in any best buy store in US, when I went to return it to Best buy in Virginia they are not accepting it. I called Delware store customer care and they are not able to help. They are saying I need to come to Delware to return it. I called Best Buy corporate and asked them to give me return label to ship it back over the call they said yes and told you will get return label in email but next day they called and emailed me as well to inform that they cannot provide return label and will have to go Delware to return it. I am really pissed off with their service.

Best Buy Installation - DISGUSTING!

The worst part about this is that these fools did this to me TWICE! I sit here livid, because my ovens are NOT going to be installed tomorrow. Back story: I bought a new set of double ovens, they were supposed to fit perfectly - well, the installation team jerked me around and cancelled my appointment AT THE LAST MINUE! Yep, my time means NOTHING! Well, we finally got someone to make a new appointment and what shows up is an unmarked truck, people with no ID, and one of the guys looks like he stepped out of a homeless shelter in baggy t shirt that was stained and didn't fit. To find out that the ovens DO NOT fit! Well, now I try to get my credit and Best buy tells me that the install team has to put in my credit! What stupid system is this? And it can't be done until they return the item, which took weeks! So, now, we are a month later, I have had to get a carpenter over to cut out my cabinet to get the ovens to fit, and still did not get my credit. So, I arrange to get the same ovens out to be installed. Now my credit comes in, and the unit is rebilled, and a new delivery set for tomorrow. At 1:30 pm this afternoon the installation people call to confirm, we call back, everything is fine for tomorrow. At 5:17 pm Best Buy's "field support" team calls to tell me they have no one to install my ovens. At 5:40 PM Best Buy calls to confirm my installation for tomorrow. Needless to say, I end up on the phone trying to get the people form this afternoon, no one around, talk to the fools at the 'field service team' to get a guy who talks faster than a speeding bullet and can't be understood and a woman that tells me there is NOTHING she can do. I call the store to be told by a manager there is nothing they can do. Who also tells me that they are loosing customers because of the installation problems. And that he is going to 'escalate' it, which basically means nothing, since they did the the last time and no one even bothers to call me back. I am sign to call corporate tomorrow. And I am going to tell them to take a hike. When we bought appliances from Lowe's a Lowe's truck and Lowe's employees delivered and installed. Best Buy needs to smarten up. The sales staff was nice, I love the Geek Squad and they are knowledgeable, and their prices are great, but heck, if you can't get it into your home, forget it.

You need to help Best Buy get out of 1996. I purchased a dishwashwer online. Hello, it's 2017. I was given three different appointments. None were correct. I had to call but was given five different answers. I have wasted a total of 9 hours trying to get this dishwasher I purchased. They then told me to cancel and reorder. I couldn't because the 1996 website would not allow it. I had to call again. I went to Twitter in the meantime to see if they could help. They were even more unhelpful. The phone folks told me to go in the store to buy it. No. Again, this is 2017, not 1996. The local store finally did a phone order for me and said they could deliver by Nov. 6. But my refund was being held, because they told me to cancel and reorder! Now I called to finalize the order and they said it's not available until Nov. 11 and that isn't even a guarantee. So all this hassle for a dishwasher I could have purchased online at Amazon and it would have been delivered and installed in less time than it has taken me to deal with the jerks at Best Buy. Get it together, Best Buy. We have no time for ineptness and lack of response from your sorry Twitter team and a website that is not up to 2017 standards. You've screwed with my construction timeline because you are liars and don't know what the other hand is doing. We have options to go elsewhere.

Went to the Best Buy Store in Hammond, Louisiana on November 1, 2017 to purchased the Fitbit Ionic Smart Watch. I told the sale person that I would to buy the watch. Instead of coming back with the watch, he came back with his supervisor. The supervisor asked me was I really going to purchased the watch or just try it on. I was treated like a *** on the street or an homeless person. I told him that I came to Best Buy to buy a TV and the watch. However, I purchased the TV and went next door to Target and purchased the watch. I feel that I was treated unfairly.

All I wanted to know was if a TV I saw on their website was available at a nearby store, which is about half an hour away. So I thought, call first. If they didn't have it in store I was going to order it from them. Could not get through to them online or by phone to save my life. By Providence I finally got a human on the phone who quickly transferred me and then I was quickly disconnected. Called back a second time, used the same James Bond extension and no one would answer...they knew it was me.... Could not find enough information on their website, it says they can't give accurate in store availability info. They're a mystery even unto themselves. I guess some guy in the warehouse broke his pencil lead and they lost track of all their inventory. All for want of a pencil sharpener. Perhaps if they merged with Staples.... I wasted so much time. I discovered their phone number is a sham, you'll never get a live person that way, even if you know the 4 digit extension you want. Trying to contact them online is a joke also. Then I started reading all these customer complaints with the same/similar issues. People are genuinely p-o'd and Best Buy has turned a deaf ear. I figure I'm much better off just going to Walmart...or probably any other store. Lord forbid if I bought an expensive TV from them, like I had planned to, and there was any sort of issue about which I needed to contact them. I'm sure I'd end up stuck with a piece of garbage and lose my money and have no recourse except maybe small claims court. Whose got time for junk like that? No doubt Best Buy banks on that. Hard to figure how they stay in business. I've purchased from them before but I will never do it again. Hit and run retail. But to me the biggest deal breaker is their arrogant attitude toward customers and prospective customers. As if we HAVE to buy from them because no one else on Earth sells TVs and cell phones. Remember Radio Shack, Lechmere's, Tweeter's, Circuit City, to name just a few? Best Buy is not invincible, the same thing can happen to them. I hope it does.

I tried to get a packaged shipped to my new address and was told by 2 customer service people on 2 separate days that it could be done, just had to wait a couple of days. When I called 3rd time this person told me the other 2 were wrong. I would just get a refund and my order for on sale item would be canceled and credit given. Long story short I will never buy from Best Buy again ever. I will find another source for my technology. I will use Micro In Columbus Ohio. They have all the tech I need and their service is great.

Bought a dishwasher and microwave. Set installation to occur on the same day (2 weeks out) even though I could have made installers come out twice to install each item separately (I was trying to be respectful to avoid a second trip to my house being required). Installation day was set for Friday 8-12 block. At 11:36, I called Best Buy to see what was going on as no one had come yet. I was told the installer was here but left as no one was home. I indicated that was not possible as I work from home full-time, have a dog that barks at everything and just so happened to be downstairs on the main floor making coffee at the time the installer was said to have been at my house. Having indicated no one called my cell phone as instructed on my paperwork I was told a call had been placed to my home number (a line no one uses or answers and if I am on my work line doesn’t even ring). I went online and listened to the message. The installer called at 9:03 indicating he was 26 minutes away. Next call came from the warehouse 25 minutes later stating the delivery would need to be rescheduled. So...IF the driver had been here, he certainly didn’t stick around to wait to see if anyone was home. At no time did my doorbell ring or any knocks occur (again, my dog would have barked and being downstairs at that time I would have obviously heard it). Best Buy said someone from “Escalation would call me”. Within an hour I got called and was told again the installer had been here. I asked what the normal process is...park in driveway, ring door bell, knock, call home, call warehouse...all of which was noted as a yes. I asked how it was pissible the installer call came in (to the wrong number) indicating he eas 26 minutes away and yet tge warehouse call 25 minutes after stating the delivery needed to be rescheduled. Per my math, the installer wouln’t gave arrived yet, and if he gad, certainly dudn’t stick around to validate if I was/wasn’t home. That for a delivery install that was to take a couple hours, he came/left in a flash. It was snowing on Friday, a really *** day, and very clear to me installing anything at my house was not of priority. The escalation rep indicated it would be impossible to havd tge install done tgat day but she would call ne vack within the bext two hours with a new day/time. She never called back. Today I called her at 7:45am and had to leave a message. Finally, at 9:47 she calls me back only to tell me she doesn’t have an update. Apparently, the installers are “supposed” to bring product back to the warehouse when installs don’t occur and as he didn’t do that (suprise!) she was waiting for the warehouse to call her back when the product arrives so a new install date could be scheduled. Now....I am furious. First off, I WAS home Friday, I was respectful to wait two weeks so both items could be installed at the same time, I cleared my schedule to ensure the installer had my time/attention during delivery and install, I was told a new time would be defined on Friday and now it is Monday with no resolve. Given I was talking to escalation, I told her she needed to “escalate” and have tge installer tgat should gave been here Friday install today. To think I am going to be put in the back of tge install schedule is not going to happen. Best Buy, either get your third-party install cendor in check or I will cancel my order. You are nit tge only place that sells appliances. Given we purchase a lot from Best Buy, it is in your best interest to put priority to this as I gave no issue shopping elsewhere if this is the service you feel should be given. The escalation rep saud she was going to make some calls. I am giving it until 2:00 that someone calls me snd if the install diesn’t gapoen tomorrow at tge latest, my order will be cancelled and you will lose me as a customer. Honestly...you can’t make this stuff up!

I was sold a computer without if date windows drivers. Computer never functioned properly even when new off the self. Best Buy’ insinuated I corrupted the computer. I had not loaded any software on it, the windows drivers were out of date from day 1; continually crashed with a different stop code error message almost every time. It would not stay active long enough to install anything even the Miss you, wish you were here. Office the also sold me. They wanted to charge me to fix the faulty drivers. Absolutely frustrating. It support I the store was useless and I was totally put off that I was blamed for the issue when alli did was turn on the computer.

Compared to J C Penny, Best Buy was like a dream come true. Every aspect of my experience with them was great! They shipped my new refrigerator quickly and efficiently. Too bad they are getting bad reviews. I was lucky, I guess. But their service was absolutely great! The delivery men were very professional, polite, courteous, all that good stuff. They did not rush me or act impatient while I took my time to see that the refrigerator was working properly. J C Penny's guys opened the door, saw the light on, said sign here and were gone in two heartbeats even though I said "I don't hear the motor." I was stuck with that non-working unit for days and it cost me a lot of dollars worth of damage not to mention all the frustration. They ARE experts at phone tag, though. I got shifted from one customer service rep to another countless times. Even though I asked for a manager, I never got one. I would shop with Best Buy over J C Penny any day! I am very pleased with my new refrigerator.
