Try Lowe's rather than Best Buy. Dispute any "restocking fee" they charge you.

Best look carefully at the invoice you got from them to see the "terms and conditions" or such in order to verify the restocking fee. Best Buy is really not a good place to buy appliances, nor much of anything nowadays.

I called Best Buy customer service about 5 times to speak to them about a promotional offer that I got sent to MY email address, while I entered in information about my boyfriends credit card since I haven't and do not plan on applying for one.. I wanted information on the credit card promotion (which was if you spend over $500 in the first 90 days of applying for a credit card, you get a $50 gift card) which I was asking how we get that credit, and he kept saying ill have to call back tomorrow with my boyfriend but I kept telling him I had questions about the offer not my boyfriends account and that I understood he couldn't give me information on his account without his permission, and he started to become a smart *** and said that it was an offer on my boyfriend account, which it wasn't cause it was sent to MY email address. And so I told him that they sent it to my email address and he simply just didn't want to deal with me so he said "ok then please hold" and put me on hold for 5 minutes which I knew why, because he knew if he put my on hold long enough, that it would hang up on me sooner or later. what terrible customer service, we've spent thousands at Best Buy and are reconsidering even shopping there anymore. hate representatives, and foreign ones too who don't know what they're talking about.

I ordered a television for the Black Friday sale. I called this store to see if my order had arrived per the estimated arrival date. From that point, I waited on the phone at least 30 minutes, called an 866 number which took additional 44 minutes as well only to not find out anything about my order. While Best Buy may boast about having the best deals, their customer service is nothing short of horrible. I am only that this review reaches many and prompt those potential consumers to be somewhat leery about dealing with this particular store. As I am typing this review, I am on my fifth attempt to try to get an answer as to whether or not my television has arrived in their store.

Best buy is guilty of false advertisement. I recently bought a computer from their website claiming it has an NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1080 ti, but instead they sent me the computer with an MSI GEFORCE GTX 1080ti... basically a ferrari with a toyota’s motor!! I filled a complain with the BB TODAY.. the dumb *** say they wont help me because of the time frame on the returns or exchange.. thetime does not apply to lying customer defrauding them and then tell me in my face i screw you when you bought it and I screw you again right now. Arrogant employee would not honor price match | Best Buy review

12/5/2017 10:20 am Best Buy 5019 S Cleveland Ave Fort Myers, Fl 33907. Spoke with JIM a salesman in the TV section. To make a long story short. JIM insisted that the price match was for an item sold and shipped by Amazon.com. I showed JIM the Amazon printout that a Samsung 40 TV was$390.44 on Amazon. Jim argued and disagreed. I asked to see a manager and he questioned why, that he (JIM) had already explained the policy. A Manager showed up a blond with tatoos on her arm and had little to say. I explained again that I had already verified the Amazon price and that it was sold and shipped by them. I just left and ordered the TV from Amazon, online, shipped and sold by Amazon as per Best Buy's policy. I have the receipt from Amazon and the cost was $390.44. Best buy's price at the store was $449.00. Jim, if that is his name was condescending and wrong. Even if he was correct I would not buy from this Best Buy store because of the employees attitude and the lack of interest from the Manager. Try and find an email to file a complaint. -----------no more best buy they have lost a long time customer.

You can sue them in small claims court if you desire. I, too have heard of Best Buy selling used computers as new, but whether this is true or not, who knows? Perhaps if you do some research on the internet you can obtain more info as to the validity of this rumor.

Best Buy is the worst experience when buying anything. Just about every review I read has nothing good to say about the company.

Why is the company still around? I bought a router 6 months ago and after wasting alot of time and energy, they basicly told me they would do nothing. I also got the same answer from Netgear. Yes, shame on Best Buy and Netgear.

I will not Buy anything from either company again.

Worst of luck to both of the companies. Also this is not the first or second time I've had this problem.

Ordered top of line dishwasher. Delivery date was postponed two weeks. Then false charges on my account. Had card changed by their request. Then dishwasher order was cancelled because of card. Told to reorder with new card. Wait another month for delivery. They would not honor the special I got with the original order. Screw best buy.
