On Dec. 19, 2017, my son and I went to the Best Buy Store in Aiea. We approached Ricci Caracol who is the Assistant Store Manager for help. He had a wealth of product knowledge on Amazon Echo Dot and its associated accessories and he provided us with information in a professional mannerism. He was patient in answering all our questions. The customer service he provided was above excellent and one that you rarely find in any other Best Buy or retail stores. Mr. Ricci Caracol made our experience enjoyable shopping in your Aiea Store and needless to say we will be back for future shopping. He should be rewarded and recognized for his exceptional customer service.

Wasted extended warranty | Best Buy review

I purchased a washing machine 2 years ago from Best Buy with a 4 year extended warranty. The machine stopped working at the beginning of December. I have been trying to schedule a repair appointment ever since. Even though my agreement is with Geek Squad, thanks to fine print, Best Buy, through AIG which is a third party provider, outsources their service to A&E , which is a branch of Sears, a competitor to Best Buy. For over 10 days now, I have been trying to make an appointment. Despite talking to 5 different supervisors at AIG, and making the same appointment 5 times, I kept on receiving phone calls and emails from Sears to reschedule my appointment saying they can get anyone on the five times confirmed date and time. I literally spent over 4 hours on the phone in the last 10 days with these people, confirming the same appointment only to receive a call three hours later each time to reschedule that just confirmed appointment. Now they are telling me the earliest appointment they can give me is three weeks ahead since I can't accommodate their preferred date and time. The last supervisor at AIG told me that the companies where Best Buy is outsourcing from will only give them a limited number of appointments and hold other appointments for paying customers despite the fact that we have obviously paid for these services in advance when we purchased the warranty. When I called Best Buy back to complain about their third party provider and asked to talk to a supervisor, after waiting 15 minutes on the phone, I was informed that they won't talk to me because it is not their policy to take complaints over the phone about warranty and repair issues. I had been a loyal client to Best Buy for over 10 years now and bought merchandise worth thousands of dollars. I will never buy anything from Best Buy ever again. I have never seen such treatment as a loyal customer from any other company that I worked with before.

Purchase.d Item# 5496110 Platinum Briefcase 6/6/2017. Lasted about 4 months before tearing where should strap attaches to bag. Bag is made of Ballistic Nylon. Talked on the telephone with customer service who said they do not cover products after 14 days and that I would have to go to the manufacturer of the product. They said they did not know the name of the manufacturer. However, when you look up the UPC# 600603207891 it says Best Buy C is the manufacturer. It is a shame Bust Buy does not stand behind the products it makes past 14 days of purchase. I would not recommend purchasing anything from Best Buy due to no real customer support.

My boyfriend and I went to Best Buy in Montclair, CA and we went to the car stereo section to buy a new stereo for his car he had just purchased. We waited around, and no one came to help. Finally, I went and found an employee and asked him if we could get some help with the car stereos. The employee says to me, I can’t, but I will get you someone that can. We waited around 15 minutes and still no one came to assist us. The system we wanted was locked in a cabinet so we couldn’t do it without an employee. We ended up leaving without any help. It wasn’t even busy. Super annoyed. We are now driving to another Best Buy. I won’t ever come to this one again.

I had a refrigerator delivered and just dropped off with no installation that i paid for the manager name Samantha said that there is nothing she can do about it, i want a refund and she can pick up her fridge on the curb.

I have Tried to get phone contact with them while in the store watch 3 customer service people standing around talking to each other no one would answer the phone held on for 10 minutes never got an answer try to get prices off of their website the website will transfer you to so many links that you cannot get an actual price or availability of a product
