I bought an HP ink cartridge that proved defective when I tried to install it. I got a reinsert cartridge error message 6 times. Went through the diagnostic process completely to no avail. I reinserted the old cartridge - no problem but no ink. Took the cartridge back to Best Buy and was told they don't accept returns on consumables once they are opened. Since I didn't know it was defective until I opened it, I was out of luck and $21. Office Max will accept a return. Best Buy just lost a long time customer.

I bought a phone during black fruday deal. The phone associate was so unattentive that he even didnt try explain to me the phones detail.

Just showed ke the phone and told me to choose one. No more explanation or guidance. Then I chose and he went and brought one. Didnt open didnt talk to me until he asked me to insert my credit card.

I did and didnt even asked me if I am a best buy member which I am and didnt ask if I wanted to buy a protection which I wanted. He rung me out and tossed ke the phone and left! My jaw dropped! I asked him why he didnt ask me to put the purchase under my membership he balantly said go to customer service and they will do it for you and walk off.

I havent seen any associate like him. All happened because he was to serve two african american ladies that were coming after me and he wanted to flirt with them and I asked him that I was there first.

Still I havent had a chance to put the purchase under my membership. I bought a tablet the same night from another associate and she walked me through everything and registered my purchase under my account and sold me a protection.

I have had their protection service, and an anti-viral program, from them for 5 years. When I looked at my account 4 days ago to check for renewal date, all my service contracts (and all but 1 old purchase) were gone. I have tried for 4 days now to get restored. I am getting the classic, time-robbing runaround.

Preferred solution: Get full, accurate acc infor restored now. And apology for amt of time spent (4 days) trying to resolve. BB chat even sent me to a website that has nothing to do with BB or with me (an international aid org). I kept copy of this as proof.

Roadie has to be the worst carrier in the world, driver canceled my delivery without any notification and only addressed the issue after the package was overdue despite my paying for express delivery.

Canceled order and no bundle price or price match

Ordered a microwave, range and refrigerator. Got microwave and range but refrigerator was still on order.

I called Best Buy after about a month and they told me there wasn't a ETA on it. So I seen Sioux Falls had one in stock. So called BB and asked if I could just switch order to Sioux Falls. They told me that was fine and they would get it switched.

About one hour later I got a e-mail from SF BB saying refrigerator would be ready for pickup in two hours. About an hour went by and I got another e-mail saying my order was canceled. Called BB they told me I could reorder it but price had went up by 990 dollars. When they canceled order they also took off my bundle prices because now I only had two appliances.

I had the number of the manager in SF BB. Called him and told him what happened. He told me he would honor price I ordered it for. Got refrigerator then noticed BB took off my bundle pricing.In the mean time range price went down 420 dollars so called to get price-match.

First they told me I qualified.

Then two days later I get e-mail price-match denied because I got bundle price. So they screwed order up I don't get bundle price or price-match!!!!

No Merchandise

I have placed an order over a week ago. (it was listed as shipped 11/21, but also says merchandise not given to USPS as of yet - -11/29,) While still not fulfilled, I have been required to pay the total amount despite the fact I have no merchandise and no indication of when or if I might receive it. Can you forward me BestBuy's Policy re billing for undelivered merchandise? Also, if I never receive the merchandise, what is the claim process against best buy?

They installed the microwave, but didn't hook up vent or electrical. It was a Christmas present and they ruined it. Now she has to wait until the 29th to have it properly installed. I am beyond pissed. I have called and went back to the store and that was the only resolution they offered. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM BEST BUY AGAIN!!

Worst computer ever

I bought a lenovo yoga 9 computer from you in august. I didnt start using it until october because my old one was still working fine. Since I started using it it just freezes up every 20 minutes. I contacted lenovo and they have done support and even did onsite technician to change parts. This didnt improve anything. I need a refund or a new computer. The series number of the computer is PF30HT65. I bought at the Pittsburgh location.

Damaged car while installing stereo

Best Buy/ Geek Squad installed a new stereo in my car. In the process they scratched my dashboard in several places. They and their insurance company will not take my calls and have hung up on me several times. I did everything they asked of me and have been very pleasant but they are obviously blowing me off.

It sounds like your claim was denied. If you were hung up on then you need to control your attitude more. I assume the scratches were already there prior to the install if they're not covering the damage.

False Advertising and Mean Store Manager

Today I went to Best Buy Charlottesville VA to purchase PC tower, Dell ( https://www.bestbuy.com/site/dell-inspiron-3880-desktop-intel-core-i5-104**-**gb-memory-256b-ssd-ethernet-wifi-bluetooth-keyboard-mouse-black/642****.p?skuId=642**** ) and I specifically wanted Windows 11. ON YOUR WEBSITE, it says Windows 11.

The box says Windows 10. I asked 2 employees and they agreed, your website was wrong. When I told the manager, he made all kinds of excuses why it was OK and not false advertising, would not upgrade the computer to windows 11 or wave the $200 fee that I would have to pay if they installed Windows 11 to make it right. After several minutes of hearing his excuses, I told him he was full of it and that I wanted his Name so I could contact corporate and he gave me his card and told me to leave the store.

Would not let me check out. He was RUDE and would not acknowledge the false ad and blamed corporate for putting it on the website. . He is Nikhil Tamakuwala at the Charlottesville VA store.

I hope someone calls him to let him know that a good manager would have upgraded the tower to make it right. I don't think I'll ever visit that store again.

Boomer julie doesn't know how to read the section that says free upgrade to windows 11 but that's if you want to do it yourself. Like most entitled customers boomer julie thinks everything is free and shouldn't pay a labor charge for the upgrade even though skilled labor is paid to do so.

Flabbergasted that they now DO NOT answer phones at retail stores

Wanted to ask about an appliance and when calling store got the corp. line.

They told me stores do not answer calls from public any more!

I wanted to know if while showing one fridge on hand , it was the floor model or new, and I wanted two and wanted to know if i could buy floor model if on hand one new. Could not get answer for this and corp said they could not contact store for me. Also had pc there for repair. Wanted to make sure it was there before I paid for taxi.

Tracking showed it back so I went. Wasn't there , took three trips to get it at 60 bucks a pop for taxi. All could have been avoided if they answer phone.

And now the pc support has doubled 100 to 200 a year. NO MORE BEST BUY FOR ME!.

Failure to deliver refridgerator

Ordered a refrigerator on Sept 27, 2021 for my son, who had just purchased a house. Set Delivery for Oct 5, 2021.

On 10/4 I went by the store to see if they could add pick up of an old appliance, the one stipulation I made from the start was "Do not do anything that would cause a problem with the delivery" because I traveled from out of state, so I could take care of hooking up his appliances, including this new refrigerator.

The next thing I was told was we lost our delivery, and it had to be rescheduled.

Now, hook up was a big issue. They assured delivery and hook up of the water line at no additional expense on 10/9/21 between 12-6PM. I stopped by the store (10/5) in Athens, GA to confirm the delivery and why I was charged another $75.59 the day before that was never mentioned or approved by me. Was told by the manager, Bridgette, that she couldn't answer that question since it started as an online order.

I would have to call the 800 number.

On 10/9 no email, no phone call, no delivery. Calling the only number available, was told it had to be rescheduled for 10/14. No real explanation or justification for the lack of notification. Now a refrigerator of food in coolers had no way to be kept.

I called and, 5 times, was disconnected while on hold for a supervisor.

1.5 hours later, finally talked to supervisor, Jesus M.

who only offered compensation after delivery in the form of a Best Buy card. No concern about the food being lost because the refrigerator was not delivered. Just "compensation after delivery". I kept asking how much the compensation would be and how was this going to replace the loss in food.

What good is a gift card to Best Buy when they don't sell groceries, and after being treated like this, would never use Best Buy again. His only answer was, "you need to go to the store and talk to the manager there". I informed him the manager at the store was helpless in correcting problems from online orders. Now they are pointing fingers at each other.

He assured me he could move the delivery up to 10/12. I have no confidence in their "assurances" after all that was said and not resolved on time.

No information given about how to contact someone at corporate to answer the questions.

He gave me the direct number to the store, but when calling that, it forwards back to the same call center as the 800 number, and going back to the store isn't possible since I was 5-6 hours away.
