Got Intel Pentium instead of Dual Core | Best Buy review from Mobile, Alabama
It was a black friday deal by Best Buy where they had told we have a sony VAIO laptop with Dual Core processor, 4 Gb RAM, 320 Gb hard drive, bluray disc player, which comes with a few accessories like a laptop bag, antivirus software and a bluray disc for USD 499.99. When i ordered the laptop even the specifications showed it to be a Dual Core processor. I received all the accessories correctly but at last when i received my laptop it had an intel pentium 4 processor instead of a Dual Core processor. I had ordered 3 laptops on the same day. And now all the three have an intel pentium processor instead of an intel pentium dual core processor. What can i do about this. Please help me out @ firstname.lastname@example.org....

I purchased a tv on black friday and was told available for pick up at store. i went to store and they said they don't have the tv. called customer support everyday for a week and was given the complete run around, lied to and given promises that were not kept, absolutely the worst customer service on the planet,they have three call centers in three states and everytime you call you are routed to a new person,they give you a case number and never finish the job and everytime you call they want you to explain the problem and then they say you need a supervisor and one never calls you back....

Is Best Buy using UPS or the post office? I received confirmation that my package was delivered to me and it wasn't. It appears that UPS dumps the package into the mailstream and then it's a black hole! I waited on hold with Best Buy for over 30 minutes and reached a rep who was useless and unable to tell me where my package is. She told me to "wait it out" because she had no idea where my package is. I called today, this time I waited 51 minutes before another poorly trained, not too bright, rep was completely unable to help me locate my package. I can't even get through to cancel the order! How can a company be this behind so early in the Christmas season?
I keep thinking that Best Buy will wise up and stop with the all the lies, misleading of customers and lip-service ... but this place seemingly will not change and improve how it does business ... these people just doesn't get it ... I got so tired of dealing with the stores in person and the people who just shrug and say ... oops were sorry and there's nothing we can do because the company hires management people who are mentally handicapped and haven't got a clue ... so I tried ordered online this week ... what a mistake that was ... they take your order ... charge your account and then with me ... in four day's they send an e-mail that it's no longer in stock ... they won't get any more and their is again nothing they can do ... at the stores or online ... just stay away from this terrible place ... it's no longer about sending them a message ... it's about never dealing with them again ... Buyer Beware was meant to describe Best Buy ...the only thing they offer that nobody else has like it ... is AWFUL service and lies. Just stay away

I WAS IN THE BEST BUY ON INDEPENDENT RD IN VIRGINIA BEACH. I HAD BEEN WAITING FOR THREE HOURS THEN WAS CALLED AND TOLD THEY WONT BE ABLE TO INSTALL THE CD PLAYER I BROUGHT FOR MY CAR FROM BEST BUY SO I WENT TO THE FRONT AND ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER. I WAS SPEAKING WITH A REPRESENTATIVE AT THE FRONT COUNTER. WHEN I TOLD HIM IT WAS SOME *** I HAD TO WAIT THIS LONG. THE MANAGER NAME AUDRA CAME UP AT THE SAME TIME IN SAID IF YOUR CURSING IN MY STORE YOU CAN GET OUT IN I TOLD HER. LOOK MAM I WASNT TALKING TO YOU OR DIRECTING IT TO YOU OR ANYONE AND HEAR. AUDRA NOT WILLING TO EVEN FIND OUT WHAT THE ISSUE WAS JUST TOLD ME. I NEED TO GET OUT HER STORE AND I TOLD HER I DONT HAVE TO I DID NOTHING WRONG AND SHE THREATED TO CALL SECURITY. SHE WALKED AWAY AND ME BEING A CUSTOMER KNOWING I DID NOTHING WRONG STAYED IN THE STORE. AS I SAW HER FOLLOWING ME AROUND AND WATCHING ME. I DECIDED TO GET MY KEYS FROM INSTALL AND LEAVE WHEN I GOT READY BUT SHE HAS KNOW CUSTOMER SERVICE VALUES AND I THINK SHE NEEDS TO BE REVIEWED BECAUSE I WASNT HOSTILE AT ALL JUST FELT MISTREATED AND EVEN MORE MISTREATED WITH DISRESPECT FROM A MANAGER THAT WOULDNT EVEN HERE ME OUT AND JUST TOLD ME TO GET OUT LIKE I WAS A NOBODY. SHE DIDNT EVEN TRY TO ASK ME WHATS GOING ON. I DIDNT DIRECT ANY BAD WORDS AT HER OR ANYONE ELSE. SHE JUST DIDNT WANT TO DEAL WITH MY SITUATION MAYBE BECAUSE SHE WAS HAVING A BAD DAY BUT SHE DIDNT EVEN HEAR ME OUT. SHE JUST ATTACKED ME. WHEN SHE WAS SUPPOSE TO BE HELPING ME.

Best Buy Junk Email Can't Be Stopped
Have been receiving junk mail from Best Buy ever since I ordered a phone from them two months ago. Have attempted to cancle the mail several (7 or more) times via email and by calling Customer Service (CS). Told me I could take up to 30 days to cancle their junk mail. Have been calling their CS and when they pick up just tell them I am waisting their time like they waste mine. Also send 10 emails a day saying basically the same thing. I will not buy from Best Buy again because of their harrassment. Best Buy you lose.
Insignia tv died after 7 months best buy screwed me
my 7 month old insignia tv went to the blue screen of death. instead of working on larger screen in home, iended up taking off work to take in to private sevice center. panel-screen?-bad- i pick up tv and take it to best buy after recieving a phone message that gave me a sevice # to replace. store 1034 GRAND Island Ne couldn't find # in system Iwaited by looking for replacement for 1 hour. I was told replacement was another Insignia, and in the very beginning I told them that I would not take that brand. got angry went home called best buy customer relations and was given a case number that said i should not have to pay for another BLACK TIE PROTECTION PLAN I was double teamed by 2 geek squad idiots telling me what i could and couldn't and what they would and wouldn't..... you get the picture.I gave them the case number 5 times and each time they refused to call and talk to cust-rela . the last time brian [who i found out was a manager] told me he knew more than customer relations. I proceeded to tell him that double teaming little old ladies might work on them but it sure the *** didn't work on me, and that I found it interesting that BEST BUY teaches management to double team customers. more to this story,but here is the recap; started at 9:30 AM and finally walked out of store at 4:30 for the last time [3 trips]--over $400 in lost wages --$300 more out of pocket-- and i am a PREMIER SILVER MEMBER AT BEST BUY, WHICH MEANS I HAVE SPENT OVER $2500.00 FOR OVER 3 YEARS
Broke my computer | Best Buy review from Yuba City, California
I bought a new computer and asked for them to copy the files from the old computer to the new. In the process, they tore the cable to the hard drive. It has been over 60 days and yesterday they finally called and said the computer was ready to be picked up. I had left my operating system backup there for them to install and now they can't find it. Worse customer service ever - numerous phone calls not returned and a real "I don't care" attitude. The new machine did not have the directories set up per my instructions and they loaded Home Office instead of Professional that I requested also. Nothing went right with this transaction.
