Delivery Problem

Best Buy will not cancel and refund a order I never received.

I purchased a Mac mini with Apple Care from a local Best Buy on 12-14-21, for same day delivery to my home. The store it shipped from is less then 15 miles from my address.

I took the day off from work to wait for item. Item was never delivered. No email or call to notify of the issue. On 12-15-21, some small delivery company said my apartment was unaccessible, and the item was being returned to shipper.

I was at work, because item was to have been delivered the day before. I contacted Best Buy of the issue and requested a cancellation and refund because they could not ship it to a closer store. Every day since Dec.15, I have tried to get Best Buy to cancel my order and issue a refund, and they have not done it as of 12-23-2021. They would not even cancel Apple Care, even though they did this on another order with them.

I went to the store to have the order cancelled and was refused and referred to the online system. I have spoken and written to them daily, and finally spoke with a supervisor on 12-21.21, and was told that the cancellation and refund would be processed in 24 hours. It never happened. Again, on 12-22-22 spoke with customer service again now they are sayings they are waiting for the return from delivery company.

The delivery company has not posted anything since 12-15-21, and only states is returning to shipper.

The item was sent signature required, and was never signed for. Best Buy still has not cancelled the order and refuses to cancel the Apple Care that is not required, or has anything to do with shipping.

User's recommendation: Purchase at your own risk. Never order for same day delivery, they could use a small unreliable service, and it could affect your return or cancellation. Just look for another company in general for your purchases.

Poor service service from extended warranty team

I have called multiple times to have a service Repair techs come out to service My LG washing machine which was showing IE message tech came Out and said washing was non fixable. We had to paid out of pocket despite us saying it was under extend warranty. No record Or information was left with us except someone will be in contact. WORST TECH SUPPORT- It is AT&T's "3rd party" sub contractors in India

Best Buy's $200 a year tech support - is actually the same "3rd party" (subcontractors in India) who have gone back into ATT's customers computers after they were RED X disconnected from a live control session. Best Buy's Concierge Team at $200 a year while "ATT's" offers it for $15 a month are using the exact same platform, software, security or lack there of and "3rd Party companies/subcontractors. Best Buy, may be subcontracting them independently of ATT but they are the actors. Best Buy however is using a team in North America to set your computer up by telephone and online, who then takes control of your computer, looks at your setup and then tell you they need /ATT to transfer you to a "SPECIALIST" that will take over from there. You are then transferred to the same multiple "3rd party" companies and techs who have ZERO SECURITY, NO RULES OR LAWS that must be followed. ATT's - USA APPOINTED THE/LEASONE, who receives his paycheck from ATT, relays communications from the group of (6 people) that are responsible for the WORLDWIDE SECURITY of ATT's assets and security for ALL of ATT's customers. Assets - I was told that included everything of value that ATT own worldwide and the security breaches by subcontractors are handled by these 6-people. The one I was fortunate enough to finally respond to my self generated complaint, because ATT never reported it to his group, didn't see this as a "SERIOUS ISSUE" when restated a second time for him, as SOMEONE IN INDIA, WHO WORKS FOR ATT (he clarified- they are 3rd Party companies, they do not work for ATT) GOT ON MY COMPUTER THE NEXT TIME I TURNED IT ON AND WAS CONTROLLING MY MOUSE (going back into my files folders and pulled out an invoice file with wire transfer information, accts, etc..) AND WHEN I TRIED TAKING CONTROL OF THE MOUSE AGAIN, THE CURSOR CONTINUED GOING BACK TO THE SAME FILES. I shut the computers down, rebooted internet, routers, etc.. and contacted ATT. Who shrugged it off. This is the same 3rd Parties that BEST BUY is using and it took me over 4-hours to try to get help removing a 32inch screen ICON 60Hz stays on screen of my new 32" Dell monitor purchased just a week or so ago (new in the box, 32" model S3220-DGF- not found in Dells database nor Dells chat support could assist me since the model didn't come up for them either. Their concierge guy in Connecticut for Best Buy was very helpful after the first 3-calls to others. He actually wanted to fix it, he tried and couldn't and he wanted to transfer me to INDIA. Needless to say, I told him no thanks let me speak to your mgr. His mgr. said he was very busy (before 10am and to tell me would call me back in 30-mins. 45-mins later i was routed to my concierge, apparently because I called him before and I told him I had not received that call yet. He was even aggravated that he had not called me yet and was again telling my concierge to tell me he would call me back, yet again. It is now 2:09pm more than 30-minutes later and over 6-hours from my initial call for BEST BUYS TECHNICAL SUPPORT and I haven't heard SQUAT from the mgr. of concierge, Best Buy nor Dell... I was even doing Google searches to try to resolve the issue myself and I was not able to find the same issue with this monitor. STAY AWAY FROM BEST BUY's CONCIERGE SERVICE BS, SAVE YOUR MONEY, they have no techs in the USA, they don't have techs at the store who fix anything or diagnose anything anymore.... This was also the same problem before COVID so I can't even give them a pass there. I buy and sell equipment and parts around the world. I charge a little more but the service is there and only one piece of equipment was almost delayed in reaching downtown NY in 2020 just before the city was locked down. And only after this JULY of 2021's uptick in Covid where I was not able to hire a Mechanic to travel to Cancun Mexico have been the only issues in my ability to continue doing profitable, safe and secure business (excluding the ATT-incident, still pending ATT's investigation, etc... That was around August 9th or so. I guess i will be looking for a lawyer for help with that. ATT wanted my computer for "digital forensic examination" I agreed as long as it was a 3rd party and the tech in India's computer was there for a neutral 3rd party to do the investigation or the CIA/FBI. I think this country's citizens are owed a degree of privacy and security from two companies, who received Millions of dollars worth of TAX relief 4-years ago. Certainly ATT who has sucked us dry for decades. They get grants and loans and property right of ways, easement right of ways, etc.. on top of the DIRECTTV cable Rip off, then went to DirectTVNOW streaming, who then left because of a extremely poor streaming platform and rate hikes again left ATT and came back and retried their newly named ATTVNOW streaming which sucked and now I see they have again REBRANDED DIRECTV/DIRECTVNOW/ATTVNOW to something like DIERECTV STREAM how many times do you have to flip the dog (ATT DirectTV) over before you decide the dog is dead and bury it? PS- Lord, I'll take title of one of the worst spellers in America, if you will do something about your speel check on this website. You can'y use the symbol and for ATandT without it writing some cryptic junk, thats just a little of the issues but thank you for trying to correct my horrifc spelling and grammar. I spelled grammar 3-different ways and it accepted all of them.

Employees at store do know what their doing.

I went to best buy yesterday to inquire and purchase what was needed to mirror my phone to my TV. The best buy employee showed me a HDMI cable and told me this was all I need, He said just plug into your phone and tv and thats all you need, I was told employees at best buy know their stuff,

I bought the cable for 29 dollars and changed came home did exactly what he said and of course it did not work.

I would suggest that Best Buy have salespersons in their stores know what they are doing when customers shop for components of for things best buy sells.

I am done with Best Buy as this is not the first time I was sold improper equipment by your personnell.

Did you use tv remote to change your source to hdmi? I have a gaming system hooked up to hdmi and have to do that.

Product delivery and installation

Today, January 13, I had scheduled the installation of a flatscreen television on the wall bracket. The items are fully paid for and the appointment was scheduled well in advance.

The installers came out to the house and in the middle of the job they pack their bags and left. The installation not completed, Boxes all over the place hardware scattered all over the floor and the TV sitting in the middle of the floor ( i have pictures). The manchester Best Buy called asked for my version of the story explained their policy on feeling safe, didnt answers my questions. Then preceded to ask when is a good time to reschedule.

I was so frustrated that i said just come get the TVs. This was a spontaneous respond, so i called Best Buy customer service. Explained the situation, and a call back request was submitted. I never received a call back and a second request was submitted.

To be honest, i don't expect to receive a call. There were two other contractors in the room and they heard and saw everything. I do not know why these individuals just left and they did not take the time to tell me. The individual at Best Buy wouldnt even share that information.

If they left without a justifiable reason, I expect full compensation for my time to take another day off to have this installation completed. Otherwise I will take other measures I dont know whats available to me but Im not afraid to roll up my sleeves. Normally Im pretty passive, these individuals were anything but professional.

They walked in my house with wet shoes they move things around do not put things back where they belong they knock things over and the list goes on. Did I bark, not really.

And a minimum I expect to know why these individuals decided to just leave. There was nothing that threaten their life at any capacity. So they should take the time to explain what it is that they felt so uncomfortable about that they just had to leave. Im paying for the service and the service should be catering to me within reason naturally.

But Im not having a sloppy job done at the expense of somebodys feelings. If youre hiring people that are so sensitive that she cant be direct and firm then I have no business doing business with Best Buy.

Customer "Care" blew off my concern that they never gave my package to UPS.

Hello, I placed Order # BBY01-8065******** on Best Buys website, and they guaranteed it would be delivered on 01/25/2022. The whole reason I went with this item and not the one in stock at the local store is because the one ordered online was a higher quality version and waiting a single night wouldn't have been an issue.

I needed this SSD to fix someones computer, and it needed to be fixed by the end of 1/25/22 so when 11AM EST rolled around, and I saw that UPS hasn't even received the item from Best Buy, yet I contacted the Costumer Care chat system and told the agent what was going on. I needed to know if I was going to get my part or if I had to run out to get the lower grade SSD to at least get the computer working and all the agent would do is send me the link to my own account that said "arriving today" I said "I know that's what the best buy website says, but UPS is saying you didn't even give them the part yet" and the Agent just kept saying "rest assured, your part WILL show up today". He wouldn't even look at the UPS tracking number that stated that Best Buy has yet to even give it to them. As of now at 11:55PM on 1/25/22 the UPS tracking info still says "Label Created - Awaiting Item".

So now the part I paid for is lost out there somewhere, customer care was no help and basically blew me off, even when / if the part arrives it's already too late and the person who is paying to have their computer fixed is obviously upset with me. I understand stuff happens with shipping delays and what not, but your company couldn't even hand the part over to UPS when it was NEXT DAY AIR and the agent wouldn't even click a simple tracking link to see there might be something wrong, this is obviously upsetting.
