I purchased a Mac mini with Apple Care from a local Best Buy on 12-14-21, for same day delivery to my home. The store it shipped from is less then 15 miles from my address.
I took the day off from work to wait for item. Item was never delivered. No email or call to notify of the issue. On 12-15-21, some small delivery company said my apartment was unaccessible, and the item was being returned to shipper.
I was at work, because item was to have been delivered the day before. I contacted Best Buy of the issue and requested a cancellation and refund because they could not ship it to a closer store. Every day since Dec.15, I have tried to get Best Buy to cancel my order and issue a refund, and they have not done it as of 12-23-2021. They would not even cancel Apple Care, even though they did this on another order with them.
I went to the store to have the order cancelled and was refused and referred to the online system. I have spoken and written to them daily, and finally spoke with a supervisor on 12-21.21, and was told that the cancellation and refund would be processed in 24 hours. It never happened. Again, on 12-22-22 spoke with customer service again now they are sayings they are waiting for the return from delivery company.
The delivery company has not posted anything since 12-15-21, and only states is returning to shipper.
The item was sent signature required, and was never signed for. Best Buy still has not cancelled the order and refuses to cancel the Apple Care that is not required, or has anything to do with shipping.

User's recommendation: Purchase at your own risk. Never order for same day delivery, they could use a small unreliable service, and it could affect your return or cancellation. Just look for another company in general for your purchases.

Employees at store do know what their doing.
I went to best buy yesterday to inquire and purchase what was needed to mirror my phone to my TV. The best buy employee showed me a HDMI cable and told me this was all I need, He said just plug into your phone and tv and thats all you need, I was told employees at best buy know their stuff,
I bought the cable for 29 dollars and changed came home did exactly what he said and of course it did not work.
I would suggest that Best Buy have salespersons in their stores know what they are doing when customers shop for components of for things best buy sells.
I am done with Best Buy as this is not the first time I was sold improper equipment by your personnell.

Today, January 13, I had scheduled the installation of a flatscreen television on the wall bracket. The items are fully paid for and the appointment was scheduled well in advance.
The installers came out to the house and in the middle of the job they pack their bags and left. The installation not completed, Boxes all over the place hardware scattered all over the floor and the TV sitting in the middle of the floor ( i have pictures). The manchester Best Buy called asked for my version of the story explained their policy on feeling safe, didnt answers my questions. Then preceded to ask when is a good time to reschedule.
I was so frustrated that i said just come get the TVs. This was a spontaneous respond, so i called Best Buy customer service. Explained the situation, and a call back request was submitted. I never received a call back and a second request was submitted.
To be honest, i don't expect to receive a call. There were two other contractors in the room and they heard and saw everything. I do not know why these individuals just left and they did not take the time to tell me. The individual at Best Buy wouldnt even share that information.
If they left without a justifiable reason, I expect full compensation for my time to take another day off to have this installation completed. Otherwise I will take other measures I dont know whats available to me but Im not afraid to roll up my sleeves. Normally Im pretty passive, these individuals were anything but professional.
They walked in my house with wet shoes they move things around do not put things back where they belong they knock things over and the list goes on. Did I bark, not really.
And a minimum I expect to know why these individuals decided to just leave. There was nothing that threaten their life at any capacity. So they should take the time to explain what it is that they felt so uncomfortable about that they just had to leave. Im paying for the service and the service should be catering to me within reason naturally.
But Im not having a sloppy job done at the expense of somebodys feelings. If youre hiring people that are so sensitive that she cant be direct and firm then I have no business doing business with Best Buy.
Preferred solution: I want an explanation on why the technicians left the house, I want to be compensated for having to take another day off, and I want them to clean the mess they left behind
CAN I SPEAK TO SOMEONE WHO CAN SPEAK ENGLISH???

Verified ReviewerCustomer "Care" blew off my concern that they never gave my package to UPS.
Hello, I placed Order # BBY01-8065******** on Best Buys website, and they guaranteed it would be delivered on 01/25/2022. The whole reason I went with this item and not the one in stock at the local store is because the one ordered online was a higher quality version and waiting a single night wouldn't have been an issue.
I needed this SSD to fix someones computer, and it needed to be fixed by the end of 1/25/22 so when 11AM EST rolled around, and I saw that UPS hasn't even received the item from Best Buy, yet I contacted the Costumer Care chat system and told the agent what was going on. I needed to know if I was going to get my part or if I had to run out to get the lower grade SSD to at least get the computer working and all the agent would do is send me the link to my own account that said "arriving today" I said "I know that's what the best buy website says, but UPS is saying you didn't even give them the part yet" and the Agent just kept saying "rest assured, your part WILL show up today". He wouldn't even look at the UPS tracking number that stated that Best Buy has yet to even give it to them. As of now at 11:55PM on 1/25/22 the UPS tracking info still says "Label Created - Awaiting Item".
So now the part I paid for is lost out there somewhere, customer care was no help and basically blew me off, even when / if the part arrives it's already too late and the person who is paying to have their computer fixed is obviously upset with me. I understand stuff happens with shipping delays and what not, but your company couldn't even hand the part over to UPS when it was NEXT DAY AIR and the agent wouldn't even click a simple tracking link to see there might be something wrong, this is obviously upsetting.

Complaint about repair service and customer service in general is terrible!!!
