I agree...BestBuy.com SUCKS! They did the very same thing to me.

Never told me that the computer that I ordered was on back order until AFTER they took the money out of my account, which they aren't even suppose to do until the item has actually been shipped, and now I have to come up with the money to purchase another one locally because at this point my money won't be available for another 5-7 days if I cancel the order. UNLAWFUL!!! On top of that, they blatantly hung up on me TWICE when I called to discuss their screw-up!

They should be shut down! NEVER will I order from them again!

Vero Beach, Fl. Best Buy SUCKS

Bought a flat screen TV for our conference room from the BEST BUY in Vero Beach, Florida. We are a non-profit and very careful with out expendutures. The TV screen was broken when we opened the box. BEST Buy's manager said she could not do anything and walked away after telling us to bring the TV back in as they had others in stock. After going through 4 members of their customer relations department Best Buy offered us a $99.00 gift card to purchase another flat screen. No I'm sorry just stuck with a broken TV.

Best Buy - Bad Shipping/Ordering Practices

I went online on their Thanksgiving day sale on 11/24, sales began at 6am EST, I had my items in my cart and checked out within a few minutes of the start of the sale. I did not dally! After a week I had received no notification. Then received an email that my order was being worked. Then a hold on my bank account for the charges (which I took to mean the order was being processed as is normally the case) within a couple days the hold was removed. Over two weeks after placing the order (last night) I call because I still have not heard anything, after a 20 minute hold time the lady tells me that it's at the Warehouse and they have it in their system that I should receive by the 10th. Within two hours of that call I get an email that states my order is backordered!! No notification and then being told it's being backordered after two weeks. And let's not forget that I was in and out as soon as the sale began. Should it not be first come first serve on ordering?? Sent numerous emails with no response. AND my husband placed a seperate order that day and received his within a week. It's not about losing the items so much, I had a back up plan just in case but the fact that they wait so long and then send a cancel so close to Christmas AFTER being told I would get it is completely unacceptable. Will NOT shop online with them again.

if I buy an extended warranty for the broken computer they will then fix it. The cost of the warranty is $219.

How could any honest company let you buy a warranty on a broken computer and then cover it for breakage.Best buy is a dishonest company. They can not be trusted. Just the fact they want to do this is dishonest. I refused.

They said they would give me a free estimate to fix it. Stay away from Best buy. They are in financial difficulties and will certainly be out of business. Save your complaint and paperwork.

Soner or later there will be a class action lawsuit against best buy and you can join in on it. Best buy is a desperate retailer trying to save its self by being dishonest.

Best Buy - Ripoff

On November 24 2011 we purchased a Dell Laptop. Paid close to $900 including 2 day shipping. Today is December 8 2011 and we still haven't received mechandise. After several calls to customer realations being told, item was not in stock,pushed back due to holiday,shipped but sitting in warehouse at UPS. UPS states they never received the product in question. After several case numbers (5 exactly) they decided today to put a trace on it and search for the package.They won't cancel the order, they want us to want another 10 days so they can search for it. Will not give us a refund or let us pick one up in the store. We will never do business with Best Buy again.

Exact same thing happened to me. I ordered laptop on Nov 26 and they cancelled my order twice.

I reordered over the phone with the lady. They finally shipped laptop on Dec 3 and on Dec 6th as UPS was getting ready to deliver said laptop, Best Buy puts a cancel order in and has the package returned to the warehouse. After being super pissed and calling customer service over and over again, I still have Zero computer and still my charge on the credit card from the 3rd Dec. No one knows anything about anything.

So i am desperate for this computer and order again online twice for store pickup and again they cancel my order 2 more times.

No explanation or anything but still have my charge on CC. Will never step foot back inside a Best Buy, i would rather pay more money and have zero headache.

Dispute the transaction with your credit card company. If you haven't received the merchandise, you shouldn't have to pay for it.

I too will not buy from Best Buy again. Let children believe as long as they can that this special person will make them smile!

We adults try to make this holiday a happy one for the little ones and my grands would be so disappointed if they thought there was NO SANTA! If you raise your kids to know better, then so be it. But let the rest of the world enjoy the jolly old elf, see the smiles that make you cry, feel the hugs that make you get chills because that little boy or girl is so happy! They just know that Santa brings them presents and cannot get all the things they want.

They usually are so excited to see anything out by the tree that they probably couldn't tell you what was missing. We have taught our children and grandchildren to remember that the reason for the season is Jesus' birthday and that is the most important thing to teach them. We can keep pushing everything we grew up knowing and believing in to the breaking point and soon we will be no better that the ad people that thought these commercials would be funny! God and Jesus have been pushed away or out of everything so why not Santa?

Well, don't come to my house because we believe in God and Jesus and Santa!

Absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Some rude woman with a southern drawl I could barely understand didn't want any questions. Just told me it was $150.00 to LOOK at my computer with no guarantees! WTF??? Yea, right! I told her I was a first time caller and she asked me for my phone number. I gave it to her and she said they didn't have me on file. No kidding? It was the first time I have called Geek Squad. Of course they don't have me on file. If customer service is that dumb, I hate to see what the techs are like!

these newer computers usually have you make the disks yourself when you first get your computer. if you didnt make the disks you screwed up. the viruses you have on the pc will now refuse to load any antivirus software.

go out and buy a new copy of windows and reformat/reinstall your system and add antivirus software before you even connect to the internet.
